What if it's NOT medically necessary, like mine was. It's unethical to practice unnecessary surgery. And there are alternative treatments that can mitigate that necessity. When my sister started raising chickens, they weren't laying viable eggs. the shells were so thin you could see through them, and you couldn't pick one up without breaking it.
