You're sexually aroused by women getting the shit beat out of them?

PPD refers to a woman doing something malicious/illegal, thinking she would get away with it because she's a woman, but then actually suffering consequences. I don't think she was trying to use her sex to justify her actions here. She was just being a cunt

I wish they went into detail about who exactly was criticizing his comments. "Internet feminists" is vague and doesn't hold much weight. Was it followers of a certain blog? Were there numbers Tumblr posts about this? Was he harassed on Twitter? It seems like they are just assuming that he was criticized/harassed for his comments. Perhaps it was The Guardian, which were the ones interviewing him when he apologized. This seems like it was written just to spark outrage

89% of adult men are stronger than the 89% of adult women There you go, that's a lot better. I wasn't calling you a liar, it's just that your original statement didn't make any sense. Yes it was properly sourced but you don't have an argument if your statement isn't cohesive. Furthermore, that Reddit post titled "almost all men are stronger than almost all women" was factual and provided more information than your statement.

Some 89% of men are stronger than women How many women? All of them? Most of them? An overwhelming majority? Your stat means nothing without this information, same with the 11%.

I'm pretty sure there's some good advice in there, but it's hard to read because it's a giant wall of text. Try using periods so you can separate your thoughts a little better.

You walk home together? So you guys have conversations regularly. Next time, start an interesting story or conversation toward the end of your walk. Obviously you won't finish it in time, so tell her you'll text her the rest of it.

Yes. People are confusing "lack of evidence that he's guilty" with "evidence that he's innocent". In most 1st world countries, the evidence threshold to convict someone is quite high.

Oh I see what you mean. Yes there's a huge disparity between de jure equality and de facto equality. A prime racial example was school segregation. I suppose an example for gender equality would be something like the wage gap, though I know that the figures for that are very ambiguous. Sexual harassment and other societal issues are also examples

I've met 1 feminazi. She was a straight up misandrist, said she hated white males, and said other bigoted things. But yea all the other ones were level headed and reasonable feminists. But of course many people (specifically in this sub) love to take isolated examples of "crazy feminists" and apply it to the whole movement.

Oh look, a woman hit a guy, and he hit her back instead of doing nothing Oh look, a female teacher tried to get away with raping a student by using her gender, but she got firm punishment Aaaaaand that's about it. Most other posts can be broken down to women hate or fat hate

I find it amusing that people browse imgur and use it as an isolated platform. It's kind of weird, considering it was created specifically to host images for reddit

It is comparable to the black lives matter vs all lives matter. In essence, the point is that although our laws are not racist or sexist, the de facto status of how the police (or society) carry it out, might be sexist or racist. The comparison works in more than one way. Issues like custody and having leniency towards mothers might be compared to affirmative action, or similar laws.

I'm an egalitarian, and I can recognize bigotry from both feminists and MRAs. You seem to be blinded and only recognize the injustices of one side.
/r/MensRights27/12/16 08:56 PM

You just insulted those who use labels, because they are black and white and don't give depth, and then you went on to make sweeping generalizations about feminists. Do you lack the intellectual capacity?

Reading the original, I thought it was funny but never made a connection to gender at all. I think if you disregard genders, it's a funny comment on the reality of winning arguments with ignorant people. For some reason, louder is interpreted as winner sometimes

If you're talking about the grey pixels around the letters, this is completely normal when an image gets its aliasing messed up and it is compressed.

Once again, you're saying all feminists demonize all men, even though it's only crazy people that aren't actually feminist.

I would just text her some time before the date to confirm that she's going. This way she'll get a reminder, or you'll know ahead of time if she's bailing. But yea texting ahead of time would exhaust your talking points, so I would advise against it unless she initiated.

This looks like a very conveniently cropped picture. There's no way to know whether or not there is a men's restroom to the left of the women's restroom.

She uses that phrasing because she is arguing against the idea that the West has a rape culture. She is stating that there are non western countries which indeed have a rape culture, and that the west has a very negative view of rapists.

Seriously, that is some disgusting editing. I mean the reporter might have a good point, but the way this video is cut is dishonest and makes me question their journalistic integrity.

I don't know, but I've heard many people in first person shooters say "I got raped that match" or something similar. She definitely gave a bad example, but it is something that happens. It seems like she equates it to using the word gay simply as a derogatory word

I think some people feel like they are owed sex, and they might make it an expectation

It bothered me that they cut before we got a final response to that question. It seems like they might say it was reported to support groups (after the fact) as opposed to police, or something similar. There's just so much ambiguity in rape statistics that I'm not quite sure what actuality is

Yes. It is disgusting to see such influential voices from both sides (men's rights and feminism) assume the role of egalitarianism but then go on to bash the opposing gender and go on about how their gender is better but also oppressed by society.

The unemployment rate is generally measured by the same standards internationally, which is based on people seeking work. This is so we can compare unemployment across the board without having to account for any variables.

Thank you, this is what I was looking for in every way. When I watched laci's video, there were a lot of things that seemed like bullshit, but I wasn't able to tear away at her sources like this guy. Especially that 8% figure, I spent hours looking into it but I couldn't prove her wrong

I saw one of those people in a video, and they stated that a very low number of rape cases actually ended up being fake. I think the figure was under 5% (and they cited a very long FBI report which I partially went through). I really couldn't believe it when she said it, but could it actually be true? I feel like the stats are twisted somehow but I have absolutely nothing to base that on. Edit: here's the video. https://youtu.be/NOJz0HKITLY Looks like 2-8% of reports are fake

I'm over the last girl. I don't like her but my mind wanders sometimes when I sleep. Anyway I said ir was cool that she was a feminist, specifically so she would reply. And she did. It seems like on tinder, girls get a lot of choice, so I just wanted an attention getter. However, out want a lie and I actually wanted to talk about it. Anyway the conversation went south elsewhere. Thanks for the help, I'll check the book out
