Context: I'm 18, college freshman living with parents. I'll soon be completing a year as a single man after my only relationship.

I have no idea what to do with girls whatsoever. For the one Girlfriend I had, she was actually the one to pursue me and make things happen. I still have occasional dreams about her, but I don't miss her. I miss the relationship. Anyway, I meet wonderful women all the time, but I have no idea how to approach them or how to handle the situation. This semester, all my classes were online so I don't go out much. I've spent the last 5 months using tinder, badoo, and craigslist almost everyday trying to find someone, ANYONE that will accept me. I've gotten maybe 3 replies from girls on tinder. Maybe I'm not starting the conversation correctly. For the first month I would just say Hey. Nothing. Then I would start by asking their musical interests and mentioning I play piano. Still nothing. The first time I got a response was when I told a girl I thought it was cool that she was a feminist (in her bio). Obviously that won't work for all the girls though.

Anyway, I just need some kind of advice. Help me use tinder, or teach me how to approach girls, or tell me I'm looking at everything the wrong way. I don't know... I just miss having someone. /rant
