I'm not OP, but just like anything else, nerves go away the more you practice. If you're having trouble with nerves I would suggest introducing yourself to as many girls as possible, especially girls that you aren't attracted to or have any intention with. I use to have a lot of trouble with nerves, but then became friends with a group of girls that I didn't have any interest in. When I moved away from that area I was pleased to find that I could talk to girls I was interested in fairly easily. …

Love this thread OP, you have some really sound advice in here. I do have to admit that I chuckled a little when you said I'm in to XXX movies.

Eh, not really. OP did a great explaining how to keep the conversation going, how to give a compliment without sounding creepy, and most importantly that is ok to get rejected. I feel OP has some pretty sound advice here that can definitely help someone over come there fear of talking to women.

Pretend that you were having the same snap chat conversation with a gay guy, reverse the rolls so that you are the "girl" and he is you. Does the conversation make you feel uncomfortable? The pays that make you uncomfortable, will make her uncomfortable. Based on your responses, it sounds like you made her think you were more interested in her physical appearance (I.e. her weight) than who she was as a person. The quickest way to get a girl to lose interest is to make her think you only care abo…

In that case, try to make it sound as casual and confident (but not cocky) as possible. I would avoid using poetic words. Say what you want to say, just do it simply. I feel like when you start getting poetic, it comes off that you have thought about it too much. "Hey, I'm sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I love the color of your eyes and I would be very upset at myself if I never told you." I wouldn't use that quote exactly, I'm very tired and having …

Say it with a soft smile. Don't make a big deal out of your compliment, make it small and concise (the longer you continue, the greater chance of coming off creepy). Also, try to be as specific as possible, just saying someone is attractive can come off weird. "Hey, I just wanted to let you know I really like the way you styled your hair." After you give the compliment, switch the conversation to something that has nothing to do with their looks. This is my general method and seems to work fairl…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
