Solid advices. A question I have is how to do the lower back thing. How do you do this naturally? I've never actually done it with someone I wasn't already dating, and I'm not sure how to not be creepy or sleazy about it.

A couple of things that stick out to me: the fidgeting thing. Don't fidget, you'll look under confident and nervous. Psych 101 shit right there. Touching your face or neck is a sign of submissiveness. On the subject of walking... a lot of people throw all that shit out the window when they start walking, or at least I used to. The cue I use is "walk dick-first." It keeps you from slouching and reminds you to be confident.

Good article. "By being noticeably in shape, you put yourself ahead of every single other guy who is not. All other things being held equal (confidence, experience, environment, genetics, etc.) women will be more attracted to you on average." In other words, there is at least a minimal benefit no matter what, and it definitely isn't going to be a negative thing.

Have you heard of a "submarine shower?" Getting wet for 30 seconds, quickly apply soap, rinse for 30 seconds. Should be all you need unless you fell in a mud hole or something

Personally, I think if you ask someone who they were, some people may take offence. It's a definite possibility if you deliver it badly. I always make sure I'm smiling and say it in the correct tone of voice, because If you're expressionless and say it too seriously it sounds like you're interrogating them. But yes, "I haven't met you yet" may be a better option for some people.

I'm not terribly creative. I usually go with an excited "hi! Who are you?" With a smile. Not clever or anything, but it works all the time.

Try lifting anyways. Eat more, don't be afraid to lose the abs temporarily. Maybe play up the Marine thing more? Although this won't make as much of a difference if you're in a military-heavy area. How's your body language? Being confident covers a multitude of sins.
