I had a very similar experience.i was chronically bullied in school until i fought back with extreme escalation. one of the main perpetrators had lifted me up and was choking me against the wall (i was pretty light, he was a linebacker). i stabbed him in the arm with a pencil. the only reason i wasn't expelled is my father threatened to press charges because i had reported bullying multiple times in the past without resolution. i was still suspended for two weeks though. after that i was left al…

Just one more example of how people make money off of the abuse and rape industry

I would move on. Don't get in a relationship with someone who is willing to use sex as a manipulation technique. Whether you change your opinion about her ex should Be totally up to you, it shouldn't change just because she wants it to. Also keep in mind that you will be getting one side of an uncorroborated story.

While I cannot state with any surety the motive behind the fake geek comments I suspect that it has more to do with lack of knowledge about subject matter more than how people are dressed. I suspect thatmore women were targeted for these comments because they were more noticeable in the crowd. As for the pin up calander. She just needs to get over herself. I would be greatly surprised if anyone had any problems with her creating a calendar targeted to people who are not hetero males. She could s…

We should all email barbers hart. *The U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention report, "In nonreciprocally violent relationships, women were the perpetrators in more than 70% of the cases. Reciprocity was associated w/ more frequent violence among women, but not men." [Source: Whitaker, Haileyesus, Swahn & Saltzman, Differences in Frequency of Violence & Reported Injury Between Relationships W/ Reciprocal & Nonreciprocal Intimate Partner Violence, American Journal of Public Health, May 200…

The other solution put forth was raising the importance of mairrage in our society. But that has also become a horrible investment. It would just add alimony to the amount of money you have to pay out when she decides she doesn't want you, just your money.

Welcome! I don't think you have to worry about being accepted here. As far as what battles you should choose to fight, there is a short list of the top challenges faced by men on the right. Vilification and custody discrimination are the two issues that lay closest to my heart right now, but any of them are a great place to start. Good luck in your relationship, I hope she can adapt. be careful of misplaced anger and frustration and you should be ok. It's something I struggle with. I see all of …

i just saw this article linked in 2x. a totally different conversation. and apparently by the standards of this article I am a misogynist.

I guess I can see how one would be more frightening to the general public.

I don't see how there is much difference from the two cases. The woman was jailed because she did not pay a debt. Men are jailed because the don't pay child support. why should the fact that her debt was a civil debt, and not a court imposed payment, matter in the outcome of her consequences? men have been going to jail for years for unpaid debts, from what I can see (i could be wrong of course) the only time there is any talk of making sure that it doesn't happen again is when it happens to a w…

it was a lot better than i was expecting coming from Jezebel. It still would have been an entirely different article if the sexes had been reversed.

my father was jailed because he lost his job and couldn't pay for my child support. We (my mom, my brother and I) were on vacation when this happened. seems like she could wait a couple months for him to get on his feet again if she has the money to take us to Disneyland... and yet...no public concern then. i wonder why? eh...it doesn't matter, he's just another deadbeat dad, right? /s

We are talking about a situation where one parent is going to be forcibly removed from the equation anyway right? it should go without saying (though I guess it doesn't) that having both parents would be better. But if I have to choose between a selfish bitch that is okay with trashing our kids lives for a little extra spending money and a presumably a new cock to ride, and me? The choice becomes simple.

It probably won't, but it could help to raise awareness. Also you might just get lucky, you never know if you don't try.

When I saw this title I was appropriately horrified. I am so tired of people trivializing rape. rape is a horrible, reprehensible crime. When you cast false allegations or say things are rape when they aren't, it trivializes what the trauma that the real victims have to live with.

I read recently that not wearing a condom when you agreed to is considered rape... how is this different?

I did find the male ballerina mildly offensive. Being in ballet takes a lot of skill wether you are a man or a woman. The aesthetics of male verse female dancers are a matter of opinion, and you are entitled to yours, but bot genders add to each performance. The implication that male dancers are pointless just seems like a result of ignorence. I am not personally offended by the bumbling blond but I wouls say that it can be offensive to some people. If I was worried about being offensive, as you…
