That's perfect. You don't have to start every interaction with the goal of getting something. That way you don't have to worry about "failing" or whatever. Who cares if you didn't get her number, just have fun! It sounds like you already know this though. Nice work man.

I agree. I've learned a lot of things from 4chan that I would never admit I learned from 4chan.

I deleted (deactivated) my facebook and cancelled my cable subscription about 6 months ago. I would recommend it to everyone. It all seems so petty now.

What's your current situation? If you don't mind me asking.

Definitely go for it. He's got some good stuff on his website too. Maybe read some of his articles and see if you agree with him before you buy the book? Just in case.

Well thanks man. That has definitely happened to me in the past though. I was so whipped by some of my first girlfriends. I've been making sure that doesn't happen again but I'll keep an extra eye out, just for you. Because maybe you're right. I'm always still learning. I think it's possible to seduce someone and be incredibly nice to them at the same time though. Within reason of course. She bought me breakfast and did my laundry yesterday. We're both really supportive and do things for each ot…

I didn't really know what to say either. I was pretty taken aback. I told her that a lot of the things she mentioned were actually things I had been working on and that I was glad that she noticed. She likes hearing about me improving myself and she's really supportive. It's pretty great.

Nobody introduced me to her, she just happened to be there and I started chatting her up. I agree with you though. Even when I'm hanging out with someone and they bring somebody I don't know they hardly introduce us. I think people just don't know how to introduce people and get them talking to each other.

I've been arrested and I actually dropped out of college last winter (I think that's what she's referring to). I got my shit together, came back to school, and have been acing my tests. But it's all about attitude. I'm nice to her when she's earned it. I reward her positive behavior with praise. But she knows I don't take shit and I have clear boundaries set up that she's not allowed to push.

Yup that must be it. Look at all this karma I'm getting from this self post... But I get where you're coming from, and this is good advice. You're taking the treating her like a queen thing too literally. It's not like I bow down to her and kiss her feet. She has to earn my praise. And she knows I don't tolerate second class behavior. I have boundaries set up and she's not allowed to push them. I understand you can't completely understand our relationship from these few texts.

Making tweaks to your own personality while still being yourself is definitely a challenge. Try to put your own personal spin on the advice you read. It takes a lot of practice. Some things you'll learn and try them out and you'll find that they just don't work for you. There's a sweet spot where you're pushing your comfort zone a little bit but still being yourself. Keep at it, you'll find things that work for you.

Thanks for the warning. She for sure mentioned a lot of nice guy things in that text, but left out a lot of the dominating stuff I do that I know she likes. For instance, I'm always in control and leading the situation. I'm definitely no pushover with her, I make sure of it. It's something I try to keep at the front of my mind. If she's doing something that I don't like, I tell her. If I don't like what's happening, I do something to change it. I think that's why she said I'm not like other guys…

I would say through acquaintances. I met my girlfriend at my friend's house party. However, if you're from a small town that might be a problem. Maybe try some of your school's clubs or recreational sports teams or something like that. I don't think I could date a stripper either. There's no need to justify yourself.

Thanks man. Yup, I made it about halfway through Models and decided I had gotten enough theory stuff and just got out there. That's pretty much where I got the finding a girl with a personality who clicks with mine bit from. I was skeptical at first but I'm really glad I got that book. Anyways, thanks again.

She obviously doesn't like it at the time I'm doing it, but it's something that you have to do. You have to be able to put your foot down. She'll later thank you for having your own life.

Not OP but I have some of the same problems. Teasing and escalating just don't come naturally to me. It's something you consciously have to focus on and change about yourself. Once you start doing it you'll notice how well it works and how well women tend to respond to it. That will make it a lot easier. You have to tailor it so it works with your personality though. I'm generally pretty goofy so adding some joking and teasing into my personality wasn't too hard but I still have problems escalat…

I like that one. I try to like eliminate the concept of "failure" completely. If you learn something, you haven't "failed." When I see a situation that could be potentially awkward or uncomfortable or whatever I just think "Oh man, I can learn so much from this and get so much more confidence afterwards." You gotta take risks to grow.
