Thank you. This sub seems to be a lot more about being hyper-critical of people rather than just encouraging them to go for it. The truth about women is that they are all different and not one method is going to work every time.

Yea thats what I'm thinking man, I'm at a point in my life where there just isn't any point in playing games. I'm not texting her for a few days, I have a bad habit of reading way too much into things before inevitably fucking it up by not saying what I want to say. I have serious doubts about this one, I'm mostly giving this a go as more of a test-run anyways, I don't even know if I like her, in fact I barely know her ha.

Fair enough, I appreciate the reply. I'm not convinced its a lost cause just yet but will tread more carefully from here forward. Going to ask her for drinks next weekend, if she has another excuse I'm done.

Couple of things, not trying to start an argument but I think you could use a little clarification. The texting to get to know her better thing is out of necessity, as Im unable to see her this week. We were acquaintances at school not really friends. I dont see how asking what her weekday plans look like and following that up with asking her to go out to dinner isn't direct. I am going to stop texting her. I do think there is something to your explanation as to why she keeps responding. I get h…

Yeah that's pretty much my biggest concern, I think my impression of being direct is not necessarily direct enough. I guess I felt like asking specifically to take her out to dinner was direct enough but I think you're right I need to do more. She texted me about an hour ago and I'm not going to respond. I have told her that I find her attractive but again idk if it landed. Thanks for taking time to respond buddy!

This helps a ton... only issue is the ex is now married. Fuck me if I ever thought she'd wanna settle down at 22 years old. Been crushing the gym lately, but this has shown that there is far more to it.

If you already made out with her it's gonna work

kinokinokinokino, the whole way home. My personal preference? Constant hand on booty. Works like a charm. Slap it if it feels right.

I'd like to re-iterate the point about bringing an offering... I'm not the most social or outgoing person but have been in this spot quite a bit and thrived bc of a couple simple things. Now this may not be the coolest suggestion ever but if you can stomach it, bring a pack of cigs and try to bum most of them out (Marlboro lites everyone smokes lites), it's a great way to start a convo with a stranger. Or as an alternative carry a lighter. If you don't like cigs bring weed, if you don't like wee…

I might do that bc I don't want to discuss it with her. I've got several girl friends who are somewhat "bitchy" and love to gossip, so when I want to vent I go to them.

I invite you to do the same, but as I said before its not like that. She would never do such a thing bc she's actually a good person.

My best buddy put it this way: in a little while I will have banged someone else's wife, which is awesome

Funny story, they don't have sex... The fiancé is a "born again virgin" which is such horseshit IMO

Yeah when she told me they got engaged I just said "Wow, seems fast but what do I know"

Hahaha dude it's not like that at all... She's not even friends with my ex, more like acquaintances who are friendly. You couldn't be more off base, sorry

Yeah still not sure how to feel about it, but shit happens I guess. I don't envy her, I think marrying young is a bad idea these days

This obviously isn't ideal but something I do when I go to parties where I know I'm not gonna know anyone, I bring a fresh pack of cigarettes and try to bum out at least 1/2 of them. It's not hard to meet people who are drunk and could use a smoke, usually ends up with me getting enough of a conversation in to make friends with a couple people. Now i'm not advocating smoking (I recently quit after graduating, except for random occasions when I do go out and drink)... so you could try other thing…

Personally no, maybe I read to much into it, but usually if it's a steady rhythm of texts and then all of a sudden an invitation like that get's ignored, I assume that means "fuck off". Obviously I could be wrong, but I'd be interested to see if this works though. It's direct and assertive and sort of emulates what a lot of people here talk about in terms of saying what you want to say and letting her know you mean it. I would try this but maybe not be as hostile as Aziz haha ;)

Ok, so I'm not sure if you'll see this but I have some experience in this arena. As someone who recently got shit on by my (now ex) girlfriend of 4 years, 6 months later I'm realizing SO MUCH that I could have done to make the relationship last and even be better than it was at the beginning. For starters, grow a pair. I know this sounds harsh but what's appealing to women is that they have a man who will take care of them. Don't doubt yourself, make every move with conviction even if she disagr…

This is great advice! I've slipped away from this mind set due to unhealthy habits I developed in college. I smoked, drank, and ate excessively. Recently I've moved home and tried to put a whole new spin on my life game. I've been on a fairly strict diet and exercise routine (Insanity -- It's amazing). I'm down ~15 lbs or so in a month and am starting to feel this "romantic" feelings for my self again! Seddit has helped a bunch with this, I especially believe in the concept here that you cannot …

I've always kind of operated under the belief that " awkward" as we understand it is fairly subjective. Basically if you remain relaxed and give the impression of comfort and confidence, people will respond well to this.

Im pretty sure this is why I got dumped recently... well I guess this is a good enough time to change!

I'm stuck in this parallel universe where I can't remember the fights we had, I can't remember the times I called her a bitch and when she deserved it... All I can think is "man she was so great" and have a hard time convincing myself she is otherwise. Maybe I need to focus on that less, idk. I'm not pathetically waiting on something miraculous to happen or anything, its just this thing keeps nagging me, like a cough or cold you cant shake
/r/seduction25/08/12 12:27 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
