I certainly think some of the examples are cringey, I agree. Like, walking up too a group of girls and and telling it's your friends birthday soon and she recently got dumped by her boyfriend and you need gift idas bla bla bla. Hot, young girls don't give a shit! Girls are more self absorebed than any other point in history, lol. They haven't got time to talk about this stuff with some random guys who they don't even know. It can also seem REALLY 'over-familiar' to some people.

Every PUA book deals with LMR! Is this all new to you? If guys didn't push, they'd rarely get laid. (there's 2 ways to get ovr Lmr - Keep pushing and try to force her to get horny to the point where she gives in, or give her the cold shoulder like you've completely given up and don't care, and start doing something else like picking up a guitar and tinkering aroud or whatever) Who cares how old she is? SHe was legal 2 years ago. I like young girls. I'm not gonna stop trying to bang them just bec…

girls have to give last minute resistance too avoid looking like a slut. LMR has been discussed at length since PUA began. WHy do girls even post here?!! Makes no sense. It'll only make you angry

I approached her in a club on teh dancefloor. We kissed fairly soon (this almost NEVER happens to me by the way so i'm guessing she was into me from the off). Went too a different part of the club and carried on making out and we chatted about the eusual stuff. (this is where I said i was 22). Asked her where she lived. She said she lived like 5 minutes away with her mum who was on holiday. I suggested we go back there for a while. She agreed Got a cab back too her parents place. Kissing and try…

Personally, I always lie about my age. I'm 31. Main reason is that i'm not in some high paid career or anything, and as you say, girls expect guys over 25 to be earning big bucks. I am a low earner. Also, i'm attracted to much yonger gilrs, most of whom would be put off if they knws you were so old. Luckily I look a fair bit younger than my years. I was able to convince the last girl I slept with who had just turned 18 2 days before that I was 22. I guess the dark lighting helped me knock a deca…

I spend way too much time worrying about how I never get laid and how everyone I know gets so much sex, but I guess the weird thing is that I often think i'm happier than lots of people whose lives are seemingly MUCH better than my own. I sometimes think we all have an inbuilt happiness default base level that our body always tries to revert too! I'm generally fairly happy despite being in some fairly shitty circumstances in various ways! I'd love to have girls actually showing interest in me li…

I don't know, my brother! Nobody seems to know, hence why all they talk about is hobbies, good job etc etc. I'm in the same boat as you. I am confident on lots of social situations, but not when it comes to pulling hot girls. Why would I be? I know from experience that they don't tend to go for me! I don't know how people are able to delude themselves! To be honest, i'd say the best way would be things like going to a country where it's easy to get laid to build up some confidence (Philipenes et…

I agree with everything you wrote, strongly, but I'm going to challenge your views on inner game. I'm not sure where you're challenging me!? :) You appear to be agreeing with me. Are you disagreeing with me calling the aforementioned friends 'confident'? (since they're unable too approach girls) I mean, i'd agree, but only in terms of GIRLS! They are seemingly confident in all situations other than that. They have good lives and have done well for themselves on the whole. They didn't get these w…

I'm always surprised at how scared of approaching girls my friends are. I'm the one who has had a lifetime of social anxiety and who has a crap job and stuff, yet I approach probably 20 girls in a night. They approach about zero My friends are all 10x more self confident than me, and have excellent, very well paid careers, but most of them would never have the balls too approach a hot girl at a bar. That 'self confidence' that they have 'in general' (confidence in their abililty to earn shit loa…

lol, I know what you mean, but I thought it was funny, and more importantly, so did she. I just think if he answered all similar questions with just 'yes', then she'd have assumed he was just another boring AFC.

I know it goes against seddit philosphy, but in my opinion, ''what you say'' DOES matter. loads! In fact, it's almost everything! We communicate with words. The people I know who 'have game' are always quick with a witty line or a comeback or an interesting little one-liner etc. Whether it's canned or not, who knows!!? Seddit's mantra is ''what you say doesn't matter, it's how you say it''. I have my doubts about that! I was at a bar with a friend of mine who has 'game' (although he's married an…

I think this is a kind of underrated, old school, all purpose opener! The old ''hey, do you xxx at yyyyy??'' (work at Macy's, drink at the black dog pub etc etc ) I actually had a girl open me with that recently. It's funny that in hindsight I now see that it was just an opener (she was a ho who wanted free drinks) but in the heat of the moment, the thought that she was lying didn't cross my mind. Plus the fact that girls tend to have better social skills would imply that it's a fairly decent op…

Don't ask "may I kiss you" that's super lame. Although I guess since 'what you say doesn't matter' in game, it is theoretically fine to say that as long as you say it a certain way

I see what you are saying, but it seems that people want to have their cake AND eat it. I see people post Field Reports, and if they get rejected, then the words they used to open the girl or what they said during conversation are picked apart by people, implying that what you say does matter. A Lot. But the same people like to quote mantras about 'just being yourself', 'say anything you like' etc. It bugs me (and yeah, I think not buying a girl a $2 coffee on a date just makes you look like a t…

Do not rely on seduction "rules" (never buy her a drink, remember to neg, be cocky/funny, etc). Putting on an act = shittier self-esteem = shittier game. I like your post, but I read a lot of posts nowadays similar to the above quote. If we ignore the rules, is there any point in learning 'game' in the first place and even having this sub reddit? And isn't 'being yourself' what lead us all here in the first place~!!? :) Todd RSD made a video about this idea recently. He thinks people have basica…

Interesting question. I have a few real life examples. The first one is a bit unsavoury I guess, but someone I knew really 'wore down' a much younger girl to the point where she just 'gave in' and let him have his way with her. Maybe over the course of a few months? In the end it seems like it was more that she was scared/confused of what he could do to her in terms of her social value if she kept turning him down since he was older and more popular, although she wasn't 'into' him at all. Anothe…

Unfortunately it's not my own, but a friend of mine (I've mentioned him before. He is very handsome and always getting approached) was walking too his van in the carpark in the evning only to see it being blocked by another car. As he approached the car, a hot young girl ran up to him too apologise. She said ''It's my friends car, but she's getting drunk and not answering her phone''. He was like ''Don't worry about it, I can wait'', and then she got instantly flirty and said something like ''Ma…

how does one 'practice' making girls laugh? You mean experimenting with random things until you find something that seems to make girls laugh?
/r/seduction12/01/17 10:41 PM
1

I don't know! Probably?! I certainly didn't tell her and she mentioned something before we had sex that implied that she thought i'd fucked lots of girls since the pickup was unusually, and ridiculously smooth. (never happened like that since!) In fact, I lasted a long time in bed (maybe 45 minutes?) since I (we) was so drunk, so maybe she thought that meant that i'd had lots of sex? I don't know! I'm not even sure what makes a guy 'good in bed' when it comes to actual penetration!

My friends think of me as having a good sense of humour, and i've been asked a number of times to be 'best man' at weddings. But I also often struggle to make girls laugh. I don't know whether I subconsciously become too serious around girls, or whether girls in general have a different sense of humour to guys. I remember listening to RSDTyler's foundations course, and he kept saying ''at this point, all I would do is say something to make the girl laugh'', and i'm thinking 'how?!!'. Is there a …

Pretty much agree with this guy. I lost my virginity fairly late in life through pulling a young girl home from a bar. I felt like a king for about 3 days. Like a new man. BUT, that feeling didn't last. Still having your V-card can consume your thoughts, but the lasting effect in terms of confidence once it's gone is trivial. In terms of women/sex etc, I still feel about as sad and hopeless about it all as I did when I was a virgin! I guess it's not so much the self imposed virgin tag, as it is …

Probably! I mean, truth is, Online dating and social media has been a 'game changer'. Them average girls who never got approached/compliments before are now drowning in sexual offers and validation. I wonder whether very young girls who have only really ever known the days of social media think it's very weird if you cold approach them, as if they're thinking ''If this guy could get laid, he'd be on tinder and not approaching me, so why would I want him?! next!!''
/r/seduction11/01/17 12:48 PM

And there's a huge difference between complimenting a girl for something she has no control over, like her general looks, and complimenting her for something she has control over, like her personal style or the way she walks. There's also a big difference between compliments that require thought, and compliments that are the same compliments she has heard verbatim, over and over again. But I think what he is saying is that he DOES use compliments based on their beauty alone and that his complime…

I went to the gym 6 months non stop in 2016. I felt more confident but not with girls. You've hit the nail on the head in regards to the 'inner game' stuff which I really don't buy. Being confident in your well paid job and in your abililty to do your job well, and going to the gym etc doesn't really 'translate' into confidence when it comes to approaching some stunning girl at a bar! Confidence comes from positive references experiences IN THE SITUATION that you are working on. i.e - chatting u…

what's the best approach? I've been in that situation before with a girl rubbing up and bumping me despite there being lots of room, and i've grabbed the girl by the waste from behind, and they've ran away. I'm guessing it's best to maybe approach her from the side and grab her so she's facing you?

It's rough. I'm not a virgin, but i've never had a 'sex life' (and i'm OLD!) I've done all I can in terms of approaching and reading about pickup etc. It's been about 8 months and no real success yet, but all i can do is just keep on trucking. Maybe when we get very old, At some point our testosterone will drop to the point that we don't care anymore and ideally, we won't even feel 'regret' since it's just no longer important/something we think about!

People will probably fight you on this, but I'd say in general, you're pretty much correct to be honest (although you appear to be a troll). That being said, A super hot girl will always have the 'power' and hold the cards. The guy is going after her and 'running his game' in order to try to seduce her. He is already seduced the second he laid eyes on her! She decides whether she chooses you or picks someone else (ignore this if you are like a celebrity or a male model!)

exactly. What does 'saw through him' mean, lol. They're supposed to know!! I'd say the first one was textbook, and the second one was hard to judge because....well, what can you do when a girl just doesn't want to talk to you and gives you one word answers?! My only issue with field reports is the huge amount of hindsight bias. If someone says ''I opened her with ''you look like a duck!' '' and they end up pulling, it's all '''great, fun opener, man! You Self amused! that helped you bang her!!''…

Good, isn't it. It was one example of a number of 'good' field reports i've seen recently, but that don't seem to ever get much in the way of advice/input etc. Plus Lots of them seem to always get downvoted unless it ends with someone having a threesome or something! The other one I linked has a nice layout for a FR in my mind and also deserved more input i'd say.

I've been in this situation a few months back, and I am now in this situation again.....in the same bar.....but with a different waitress!! With the first one, all I done was casually speak to her one night, like asked a question about the quiz. Then said hi too her a few nights after and we chatted briefly. We became acquaintances, but not really 'friends' as such. Anyway, I saw her out in a different bar one night when she wasn't working. She was 10x more friendly and started flirting, too. We…

Nice opener. I always try to picture myself in the environment when I read a Field Report, and so pictured the scene in my head before I read your opener. Frustratingly, I could't think of anything (which happens in real life all the time, lol). I'd have either said a boring ''Just looking for a notebook?'' (and then cringed inside) or have just been like ''Hi....I know this is random, but you are super cute!'' Anyway, good job, man.

But often we see FRs that give a sketchy outline of interactions without any basis in the principles of PUA. Could you elaborate on this? Maybe it's a bit like an RSDTodd video I saw recently where he talked about how the core principles of pickup are being ignored nowadays in favour of simply 'just self amuse', 'just have inner game and don't worry about what you say'', ''what you say doesn't matter...it's how you say it!!'' etc etc. Basically implying that there are really no rules in game I t…

Field Reports should be much more frequent and encouraged. I noticed that, for some reason, lots of the time people are downvoted for them. It seem the only time someone gets upvoted is if he ended up pulling. I read some great FR's from a certain poster recently, and they seemed to be getting downvoted a fair bit as well as almost zero comments/input (probably because he 'failed' to pull!) And yes, I also notice certain bloggers post old content from their youtube channels again and again. Post…

that is encouraging, although at the same time I have to confess that i'm concerned at how I don't really seem to have improved at all. The only changes are that i'm slightly braver at approaching and maybe a little less anxious, but I still suck at making teh conversation 'fun', and at keeping their interest, running out of things to say, failing to capitalise on any 'threads' that they might give me (I typically think of the 'correct' reply about an hour later when it's too late! :)) Maybe i'l…

I've always been fairly unsuccessful with girls, but then at the same time I never really approached girls much. However, my handsome friends never approached girls either, yet they always got laid, lol. Girls would just come on to them and make it super easy for them. It's a different game if you are lucky enough to be handsome. You don't need 'game' at all. Even though i'm old, I only got into 'pickup' about 8 months ago. Maybe 500 approaches at a complete guess? Don't seem to have improved much in the way of general conversation. Eveyone told me that i'd naturally get better the more I done it, but they appear to be wrong, lol. I'm with him on the conversational skills thing. (But I don't really care about his first two concerns) I just get so stuck with it all. Say opening a girl in a bar for example, and after the open, I naturally ask things like 'who are you with', 'how's your night going' etc? I also do the whole 'make assumptions' thing and try to guess their job etc, but I still find myself running out of things very soon, and sometimes the girl looks a bit bored. There you can run normal game on her. What does your 'normal game' look like, out of interest? (lots of people seem to almost have their own definition of what 'running game' is) You just talk a lot and ask her questions to build comfort, throw in lots of teasing to build attraction, good eye contact, 'pull' when she is saying things you like as a reward and 'push' when she does the opposite, at some point isolate, ramp up the kino, go for the kiss kind of thing?? ps - OP. I'm gaming a shy girl in my social circle What have you done so far in terms of 'gaming her'? How long have you been friends?
/r/seduction12/10/16 08:43 AM

I notice you always tell them that you think they are hot, whether it's a direct or indirect sort of opener. This goes against lots of what I read here which is to ''show your intent without actually verbally saying it'' Or maybe that advice is possibly more meant for night game or when you're going for a same day/night lay? And also that actually verbally stating it puts all of the power in their hand? what are your thought on this?
/r/seduction11/10/16 10:37 PM
1

usually the attractive ones want you to make her seem like she's the hottest thing in the world. So you should neg her, don't act too interested? And the very less confident ones can't really believe that you genuinely like them so they get really defensive. So the same with girls with low self esteem, too? Neg and act disinterested? So it's always the same no matter what the girl is like?
/r/seduction11/10/16 09:14 PM

I think just making shit up - lying about just having got back from a holiday or something, and just ramble on to build comfort might be my next trick!

Obviously much better than some random guy, but didn't seem as smooth as lots of infields if i'm honest. Still decent, though. Do you find it lots easier got speak with foreign girls in London as opposed to local girls? I still find that UK girls are very weirded out when being approached. Nothing seems to work. I experiment with trying all kinds of things. Not sure what my next step should be now! Most definitely not talking about myself, but nowadays it seems it's all about tinder or social circle. Dude screw online dating. Too much effort barely any results. Based on what i've read on various pickup forums, that couldn't possibly more untrue? (not trying to be an ass) It seems that things like tinder make up the VAST majority of peoples lays on the various 'lay report' threads on pretty much ALL pickup forums! People seem to get like 1 bang per 100 cold approaches, but can get a tinder bang almost at will with almost zero effort (although obviously yuo'd need to be decent lookling)

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. You can't make girls attracted to you. You can't. Either they are or their not Whilst I agree with you, doesn't that kind of go against everything we 'learn'? Like...'game' as a whole? My general theory is that it's about looks and if a girl doesn't see you as a potential sexual partner within 2 seconds, then all the 'game' in the world that you run won't change her mind. I kind of see 'game' as helping you to bang the girls that are already into you, and…

On the downside, the very good looking people I know have more sex than anyone I know, with the hottest girls, and with the smallest amount of 'effort'. (they don't tend to approach, they get approached). They don't know 'game'. Any 'game' they have is just natural confidence as a result of being given compliments on their appearance since they were children. However, I concede that I also know one or two people who are about as ugly as me, yet …

Oh, I know people lie. But it was so easy to believe since I was often there when girls were falling over themselves to get a glimpse of him, or when girls approached him in bars. The deal was already done when they saw him. It was no stretch of the imagination to believe he fucked most of them. Obviously I wasn't there whilst he had sex (well, I kind of was one time in fact!) but lots of the time I'd find out anyway as a result of an angry girl he'd pumped and dempued who knew someone that I kn…

You don't have to be making lots of money to have your shit together however you should work towards achieving some sort of financial stability Yeah, I mean for me personally, I have never been able to earn more than minimum wage through a mixture of low IQ/intelligence (thus struggled academically), then got cancer, and combined with social anxiety, I was destined to be loading lorries and such. However, I've been known to lie mjy ass off (successfully) about my job etc in order to get girls in…

Well thoguht out post. As someone whose never had confidence (but like you, at times I can be AMAZING at faking it to the point hot girls tell me they like me because I am confident!) I found it interesting. I'll be honest and admit that recently i've even been thinking about taking certain drugs to give me instant confidence. I have a few friends who's success with girls literally sky rocketed when they started popping pills on nights out. Like a damn miracle! From shy (nearly)-virgins, to slay…

If you go out with the same confidence women use, "I'm guy therefor all women want to fuck me" You're right that women get confidence for free since guys are desperate for sex and they have teh vagina. But the problem is that, in the case of the girl, it's actually true. Just telling yourself that you're a guy and therefore all women want to fuck you doesn't mean anything. YOu can't just magic up confidence with positive self talk. And all the self talk in the world doesn't change the actual fac…

Do you mean having a very well paid job by 'having their shit together?' I've always earnt minimum wage so for that reason, I tend towards one-night-stands than with trying to get a girlfriend, as I think as far as relationships go, that stuff matters and she wuoldn't be interested, but you can be unemployed and still get 1 night stands. To be honest, I don't. Some nights, I'll leave the house and I just don't think I'll have a chance at pulling a girl. I feel low on confidence and feel down/ugly, and I can't snap out of it. But some days, for some unknown reason, I'll wake up and i'll feel slightly better. Not confident. I'm not a confident person, don't forget. But I feel 'good' enough that I feel able to PRETEND to be confident. I go out and act. I must be a good actor and I probably missed my vocation in life! :) I don't get…

it can be done. I have ZERO confidence, but sometimes i've convinced girls that i'm some sort of superconfident stud, and i've banged them, and they told me that it was my confidence that they liked. (i giggled inside when i first heard this! if only she knew!!!) I literally act like i'm being filmed and am playing the role of a confident guy. Unfortunately this doesn't always work since sometimes my mood is just too low to be convincing or to even try, but at times it can definitely work.

Regarding humour, not to blow my own trumpet, but I am thought of as someone with a good sense of humour among my friends and family. I have never done cold approach that's interesting. I really don't want to throw the towel in, as to me, that (approaching girls) is really what pickup is mainly about! But It just really feels so impossible sometimes and when girls just reject you in a second so often, it further erodes ones confidence. i think it's kind of a little 'cheat', because when talking to someone who doesn't live in the same country as you and stuff, you automatically have lots of natural easy openers and things to talk about and even little things to tease them on (accent etc) which gives you much needed time. Muc,h less chance of awkward, stilted interactions
/r/seduction06/08/16 09:47 AM

to be fair, some coaches who have been teaching this for years say that indirect is superior. Obviously others disagree. So i'd say it's not even a crutch. If you feel more confident with them, then just keep using them.

If it makes you feel better, quite a lot of it has been exposed as fake. Some of the RSD guys have used their girlfriends in vids and the same girls in different vids, too. There's been adverts found where certain pua's are recruiting for 'models'. That muscly pua (forget his name) was exposed as frauding some time ago, too. Not to mention that if those who are legit, they can literally fail 100 approaches, and then succeed, and then upload the successful interaction.
/r/seduction05/08/16 05:02 PM

Other times I have been told to fuck off for saying much more innocent things because I was not in state and the girl sensed that I was a little nervous and they probably thought I was putting up a mask and not being relaxed around hot girls. Or it could just be that that particular girl just had a very different personality to the one who let you get away with the insnse stuff. We need to remember that a hell of a lot of pickup is about the girl.

Interesting. You appear to be in the minority with that view from what i've seen. I'm still too new to have an opinion either way, but i DO know that my good looking friends who knno nothing about…

Just be attractive physically So Do you think 'game' doesn't really exist? fucking girls is basically down to looks? Note: i'm not arguing with you btw! I've studied loads of material for ages, but i don't think it's helped me at all!

If a girl 'wants outs' wouldn't that imply that ones game isn't good enough, yet? Should a guy with the best game on planet earth never get rejected?

so you just walk up and say ''Hi, i'm jack.what are you up too tonight?'' (that sort of question). I had a brutal rejection last night where I walked up to a girl, smiled and said 'hi' and before I could get another word out she looked at me and said ''Eeerrrr...not interested!'' and then her mate dragged her away! lol I also kind of feel as though there should be a UK specific seddit. I know this will sound strange to you (I assume you're American) but 'introducing' yourself (walking up to a gi…

I think i've tried everything, but i don't plan to give up. Thing is, i did get laid a while back, so does that mean my 'game' worked? Why then didn't the same aproach and general conversation work with the next girl? That's why i think looks must come into it. The girl that I pulled, maybe i pulled in spite of 'game' and not 'because' of it? How do you approach girls in bars/clubs? What do you say? Can you basically always pull any girl you want now? thanks

hey. Yeah, i've watched loads of tylers vids. To be honest, I think he's OK looking. Not super handsome, but deffo not ugly! Plus people say the vids are fake?? I hope not! And yeah, i'm obviously still trying to learn? But in my group of friends, the ones who pull have no game, but are very handsome and since it's always in my face, it's hard to get away from hard truth But yeah, i'm still trying. I got 4 rejections last night and called it a day! All very fast rejections. Gonna try again tonig…

I've studied game for a while now but don't tend to have much luck unfortunately. But in theory, are you saying that like, my 84 year old grandad could start fucking 18 year old hot cheerleaders if he learnt what best to say when approaching girls and how to 'neg' them and about 'kino' etc etc (or whatever one thinks 'game' is) ? I mean, surely looks matter a hell of a lot? regards

you sound a bit like me in the looks department! And I know what you mean about how it's hard to be confident when you know that you are objectively not great looking! Like you, I also have a few 'male model' looking friends who get hit on NON STOP which is hard to watch! They don't need to do anything at all to get sex with the hottest girls. They could be a mute and still clean up But I get 'inspiration' from a number of other friends that i have who, like me, are simply fairly unattractive ph…

I know what you mean. For me, I find UK the hardest. It's like I smile and say ''Hey! How are you tonight??'' and I get a look as if to say ''Errrrrrr.....Do we know each other?!''. I actually found it easier in the US and the girls were MUCH more approachable funnily enough. Although maybe that's the Brit accent?!! But when I went travelling to various European countries people just seemed so different. I like the way you worded it ''Paranoia vs curiosity''. It's strange, really...

thanks. Guess it's fairly simple when you put it like that. I guess I just want another crack at her at some point so I don't want to completely fall out of contact. Also don't want to look desperate. And also don't want a 'relationship'

that's interesting. I hear so much stuff about how it's 50x easier to pull girls in certain countries in comparison to say the US or the UK. It is kind of depressing to think about.

I think the ambition thing makes sense with tring to get a girlfriend, but with hust hooking up with a girl on a night out for a one-night-stand, it often doesn't even come up. And if it does, he should just lie his ass off and say he wants to be a big time writer or something - he wants write a best selling novel! my friends who do best with girls aren't ambitius or itelligent, but they are good looking, and confident. Probably confident from being good looking (sometimes they're funny with a g…
