Why is lack of partners a concern?

If she cheated how can she think she’s entitled to anything? I swear prenups should be required for all marriages.

There’s grandmas making TikToks. You’re not to old.

If there is no order put your foot down. She can’t tell you want to do and she legally can’t stop you from being with your kids.

I think people want companionship. They can’t deal with being alone. I personally love some alone time but i wouldn’t want to be single forever. I also don’t know if bouncing around girlfriend to girlfriend is sustainable. I’m definitely not in a hurry to get married. The idea of not getting married but a long term partner also sounds good. The thing about me is because of my mom, I’m a very caring person so I’d definitely want a steady partner in my life. The actual act of marriage doesn’t have…

I’m still married but once I get divorced I definitely am open to another marriage at some point. I know better what I’m looking for in a person and I feel that with the right person, marriage can work and both can be happy. Call me an optimist I guess. I definitely hate marriage right now but it’s not marriage that’s the problem.

Thanks. My wife works at a law firm and has an angry side so it’s probably a moot point. She’ll get whatever she wants which thankfully isn’t much

What is the process of deciding on a lawyer?

You should teach him to save 10 to 15% of anything he earns. If he starts that habit now it’ll carry into adult hood. Having savings is so important.

Unfulfilled, bored, and unhappy. I think I put blame on my marriage because my wife is my biggest barrier in that regard.

Thank you. She knows I’m unhappy. I honestly don’t know how to turn things around in my marriage. Therapist said I should try harder but I don’t understand why should I try harder when I’m not even into it and she doesn’t try to make me happy. My wife told me I’m too afraid to leave and she’s probably right. I’ll probably be stuck unhappily married like I have been.

Just ends up being a hassle. Like I love lamb and pork but nobody else does. It’s a hassle

I could come and go as a please. Go to the places I want to go, when I want to go. Go on trips that I want to go to, cook for dinner the things I want to cook. Basically some actual say in my life.

Yes, I went to two, one was supposed to be special guy therapist. The idea of starting over is frustrating so I just stopped

I did that. They want to get me to work on my marriage. They don’t focus on my issues.

I’m sort on the other end of the spectrum. I want to file and I’m sure my wife thinks our issues are fixable but it isn’t that easy. Obviously I don’t know your situation but my point is if she’s made the decision already, she may not be open to changing her mind. It may also not be that specific issue that caused it, it could have been the straw that broke the camels back.

You don’t have to delete the app but inside the app You can disable location sharing. My wife actually uses it to track me more than my kids.

Sounds like me or how I was. Everyone who comes home from work is exhausted and doesn’t want to do anything but chill, unfortunately you don’t get to chill until the home stuff is taken care of also. Not fair if she runs around doing stuff and she does nothing (for me this is actually the reverse. I run around while my wife chills) YouTube is your friend. There are instruction videos for everything. You can learn how to do most household chores. I’ve painted, fixed drywall, replaced faucet, even…

You could hold off on finalizing but insist on a separation. Make her move out. You both got your space and if you want you can “date” for a while. She sounds like she’s panicking about moving out. I can’t blame her. If I ever go through with separation/divorce that’s going to freak me out.

Doesn’t save money. The phrase “it’s cheaper to keep her” was coined for a reason.

Why does her being in a mental facility instead of Florida matter?

Contemplating divorce. Wife has never treated me well. I could even argue verbally abusive. She makes more than I do, I’d be moving out. Is here a percentage or something to calculate how much I’d have to pay her and the kids so they didn’t have to move?

Exactly. My wife always blames me for never starting sex. We had date night 2 weeks ago. She was going to bed and started it. Had a great night. Haven’t had it again. I started it. She clearly doesn’t want to start anything

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
