I was in the exact same situation, met her freshman year of college and broke up literally a month after I graduated. Just get out there and try to meet people man! Yeah your attractive female friends are in relationships/too close to you to pursue anything, but they have friends too right?! I recently started dating a good friend's roomate and things could not be going better.

I am exactly like this, every girl I meet almost instantaneously sets off my radar. I need to get out more...

Living at home SUCKS. Graduated college last year, living at home to save money/find more permanent work. Even if I were to pick up a girl, it's not like I have a place I could take her back to, and that's kind of an issue for me.

Same exact boat, except I graduated college now. I don't do anything because there's nothing to do in my home town where I moved back to. Definitely in a rut, don't know how to get out.

Best response I've found is "do you want another one?"

This is pretty much the same situation I'm in (started dating a girl sophmore year of undergrad, dated for 4 years and broke up), so I never got the whole like "how to pick up girls at a bar" part of college. This story makes me happy for you, and also hopeful that one day soon I can pull off something this awesome.

I own a horse and scuba-dive. I'm also a huge fan of music and can talk about any genre or musician like they're my favorite without actually knowing much about the shit music the girl listens to.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
