So no books on the matter or sources to support your position? I'm not blaming you for not being able to make sense to me. That's why I'm asking for some academic sources that might be able to explain it better.

They’re not. They are. The poor person is paying 50% and the wealthier person is paying 5%. 50% > %5. How is the poor person not paying more? How come you are focusing on the flat dollar amount when it's irrelevant to an equal proportion? The flat dollar amount is relative to total wealth. To someone with $1k, $50 is almost nothing. How can almost nothing be equivalent to half by any stretch of the imagination? The fact that the money goes to the child doesn’t legitimize stealing other people’s …

Because both parents “signed up” Right. So why is one paying less? That's my question. How come the poorer of the two shoulders more of the responsibility? How come both aren't paying an equal share of their income towards the shared equal responsibility (in the hypothetical of course)? What you propose is wealth-redistribution disguised as child-support. Even if that were true, the wealth is being shared to the child, for which both parents "signed up" to do. So what is wrong with that?
/r/MensRights09/07/20 02:57 PM

Because we’re paying the same amount of money, and I earn a lot more than you. And thus your contribution should be equivalent, at the very least. I don't see why the unbalance. What about the fact that you make more means that the person making less should carry the heavier burden? for you $50 is 5%, for me its 50%... how come because you make more, that means you should pay 45% less for an equality of custody? I wouldn’t be able to demand that you subsidize my liabilities in connection with it…

Interesting. So one parent gets to keep 95% of their wealth to themselves and the other only keeps 50%, even though they both are equally parents. I don't see how that's fair, why should you have to pay half your income to child expenses and I only have to pay 5%. Can you explain why that is fair?
/r/MensRights08/07/20 04:51 PM
3

so this is hypothetical is fair in your opinion: You have $100. I have $1,000. It costs $100 a day to raise a kid. We therefore each contribute $50 to the childs upbringing. So you end up with $50, and I end up with $950?
/r/MensRights08/07/20 04:00 PM
3

Well a flat amount across the board is regressive and unfair. Are you familiar with John Rawls? Both parent contribute a proportional amount to the care of the child, what is wrong with that?
/r/MensRights08/07/20 03:24 PM
3

They pay a portion of their yearly income to a shared account. So if Parent A makes 50k and Parent B makes 150k, then each contributes in proportion to their income toward child care expenses. The one that makes the most pays a larger sum as its a proportion of income, not a flat amount. This can be done in some form of an escrow or a trust account that both parents can access for child related expenses.

I think child support should exist under these conditions: Legal and accessible abortion as well as "Paper" abortion. Custody split 50/50 (unless one party opts out, as in they do not want custody. However even with opt out, CS is still due.)

Do you define sex and gender as the same thing? If so, why? What does this mean? Nature designed procreation around a merging of feminine energy with masculine energy. Also, how are you avoiding a naturalistic fallacy here? We agree here: Also, how do I know what a female actually feelz like? Which suprises me because that is precisely why I think gender roles are BS, how the heck is anyone of any gender supposed to know what being feminine/ masculine is. I certainly do not. I only know how I am…

I don't want to change your mind. I want to know why you think gender roles are not BS? I currently think gender roles are totally BS. I can't imagine how one would think that because of genitalia or chromosome you have a role in society that is fitted to that sex.

Yes I read the whole thing. You seem to be coming at me with hostility and I do not want to engage with someone like that when I'm trying to have a rational discussion. So that sentence, while not the only thing I read, it did set the tone and with that I chose to end the conversation with you specifically. It's not about feelings, it's about mutual respect and adherence to civil discourse. When I tried to show it to you, you attacked me. I acquiesced and then you accused me of living in a fanta…

That is not my intention. However, you made a number of points and I wanted to make sure I gave you the respect to address each on in turn. I will refrain from such in this post and going forward with you. Why is white men pointing out that they have endured an injustice, either directly of indirectly, is that wrong? How is showing statistics, or simply naming names of the group, harmful?
/r/MensRights16/06/20 07:46 PM

The point is you couldn't even come close to fitting the names of black men or white men into a list that people would actually be able to read Okay, does the image counter that point? No... To demand justice for such a small population is kinda gross. I disagree 100%, justice for all... Not just some. It's kinda gross you disagree honestly. How come these women don't deserve just as much justice and recognition as the hundreds if not thousands of men? Of all the problems in the world you pick t…

I don't see an issue with this image. It's not inaccurate and it's not saying men aren't also killed by cops, it's not even making it seem like most victims are women. Identify those that have been served a injustice is not a bad thing, and each one of these "memorials" add to the evidence that we as a society have an issue. In short I don't see how this relates to the sub.

The same reason why wide hips are important Hips are sexualized? I mean, i know everyone has their thing, but I've never heard of hips being sexualized... Plus bigger breasts mean evolutionally that the woman is in better health condition Actually the jury is still out on that... some ideas is that permanent breasts were handles for babies to cling on and other ideas hypothesize they acted like camel hump, providing fat reserves for when resources were scarce. How does a woman breast matter for breeding? It's only used for feeding after the breeding is done, we don't sexualize a cup even though it allows us to drink, why is a breast when it serves the same purpose for newborns?

No. They are not. Most people do not want to be raped for real. 13 or 30, male or female, rape is rape and it's wrong. If you want to be raped then that's your fantasy, but realize that is not the case for most people.

LMFAO if only you knew the irony of statement. I loathe identity politics. Equality is what I want. I did not lie once. Please cite where I lied. I doubt you'll be able to. yes, consistency is important within the law, hence why I am saying that sex and gender should be added to the civil rights act or the ERA should be passed. There is no argument that works for sex that cannot also work for race or nation of origin. We protect the latter but not the former and that is wrong and inconsistent.
/r/MensRights17/02/20 04:13 PM

PRIVATE business is fucking private And it is already against the law to discriminate, even with privately owned places, on the basis of race, color, religion or national origin. We should add to that like sex and gender. Why should you be allowed to discriminate based on sex but not race? Made a case for why one should be allowed but the other not. if you merely dislike someone for his hairstyle, you have full control to say Sure nothing wrong with that. but you should NEVER dictate who an owne…

Yes. Why should any organization be allowed to descriminate based on biology? If you are okay with the barbershop doing it you should be okay with anyone doing it. I'm against anyone doing it. That's what equality means, equal opportunity regardless of biological characteristics.

If you run a business you should not be allowed to discriminate based in sex or race. Give me a reason that discriminating against sex that is not equally applicable to race, and then tell me why it's okay to encourage it. This concept has already been through the supreme Court. It's why separate but equal was shot down.

It's her body. It's really that simple. Somethings we can change like paper/financial abortion because thats a social construct. Biology is not something we've yet mastered. Does it suck for any man in the situation sure. The person that's lied at least twice calls me dishonest. That's almost laughable. Laws vary from country to country, scientific facts do not. We agree here. And I specifically cited an American law. cessation of brain activity is absolutely the standard for death. This is incorrect. Based on the most recent research I've seen, so as of 6 months ago, that is accurate. You are advocating carving up a fully sentient and conscious foetus and pulling it out piece by piece in toward the end of that window. Quite the opposite. The thamlocortical complex isn't even formed until at least 24 weeks. I think a reasonable restriction would be based on when the fetus is capable of sentience and consciousness, which is 24 weeks of gestation. Up to that point it's just a bunch of cells and tissue. After that point it should be granted all the rights that a human being has since our sentience and consciousness are the only traits I've encountered that define us as human beings.

Why would men having the option to opt out of child support be affected by people that oppose abortion? The only thing I can think of for Ellison is the assault allegations which a number of people across the philosophical spectrum, including himself, have said should be investigated. Omar, I'm not sure what she did that you're referring to, perhaps the campaign finance violations she's under investigation for? But these are both being investigated, so I am not sure what you're referring to as far as a pass. (Granted neith…

A lot of this is your opinion or assumptions with what would happen if the "paper abortion" were allowed, and as you stated, you don't know and can't make a strong argument for them. I am not trying to make an argument about what would happen. I have no clue. I am arguing that social constructs should be as equitable as possible. Withing the current social construct a woman can abort, and this relieve herself of any responsibility to an unwanted child. A man cannot. the ramification are entirely…

I didn't mean that sex would cease, only that having sex with the assumption that a child would have 2 person support system would cease and be taken into account. Sorry if that was unclear. Ahh my misunderstanding. Then yes I think that would happen. Men would gain the rights to be made aware that a woman is pregnant with their child, and they would have the same rights to "abort" as the woman does. Of course once the child is born that possibility for both parties are removed, they'd have to l…

I'll stand by my opinion that the government should attempt to make the biological parents of the child as fiscally responsible for the child in every way possible before it removes the burden from the parents. I agree that if one or both parents agree to give birth to the child, and not give it up for adoption, that they (those that made the choice) are responsible for the financial support of that child. The issue is that you said the government "does" wait until all "avenues are exhausted," w…

So are you purposefully being obtuse? I've addressed that we were talking about financial intervention, you keep changing the topic to more broad topics. No I am being very specific. You said Yes, but currently the Government only steps in when all avenues of responsibility have been run dry. That is demonstrably untrue. It steps in, like I mentioned, without even checking if "all avenues have run dry." Like I said it does so via in part regulation of Parenthood itself. I don't see how by default telling parent they must send their child to school, provide food and shelter and keep children safe is waiting until all options have been exhausted. Yes, but currently the Government only steps in when all avenues of responsibility have been run dry. That's not true at all. The government provides public services to help with children ranging from school standards, financial aid, and makes laws to force parents into performing certain actions for child safety such as child seat regulations and education requirements. The government at least in part regulates Parenthood itself. It is not the Government's responsibility to interfere with perso…

Except in your case, where the parent, who has custody, is now left to take care of a child with only one person contributing financially. Which happens today for a variety of reasons: one parents death, loss of job, disability etc... So nothing changes and society is already equipped to handle this. In reality, if only one parent has full custody, the other parent must contribute financially as the child is their responsibility too. Unless that parent doesn't have the means, or refuses and is s…

But it's not equitable for the child and that's the problem. If the child is not able to be cared for by the parent(s), we already have a mechanism to remove that child from their custody or provide assistance, whichever is deemed more reasonable and proper for the care of the child. This is already in existence. What exactly about my proposal makes it less equitable to the child than it is today? I admit it doesn't make it any more equitable for the child, but it does not hurt them.

Like the father taking custody and the mother paying child support? If that is how it was agreed between the two parents. Who supports the born child if the biological father/mother, who is able to pay child support, refuses responsibility? It's fair biologically I am not arguing anything biologically. Those are things we cannot change, at last not yet. What I am arguing is the things we can change. Nothing biologically says a biological father needs to support a child, nothing biologically says that a mother cannot have an abortion. So yes, biologically everything is fair. it is only the human constructs that are not. Human constructs can be changed to be more equitable, such as the equability we have seen in our biology (in this …

Yes, that's how biology and laws work in this context. Surgical abortion itself is not biology, it a man made procedure. Same with Law its a man made construct. True surgical procedure is only available to women, due to biological need, but the law which should be applied equally should be done so. If a woman has an avenue to abort her responsibility to raise a child, then a man should have that same ability when the mechanism to grant said ability is man made. Very simple way to avoid this situ…

Why is it okay for one of the two people responsible for the pregnancy to say that, "I don't want anything to do with this situation I'm 50% responsible for?" Because that's how it is now. A woman can freely choose to abort without even telling the man she was even pregnant. How come men cannot freely "abort" in a legal way as well? With women the are 50% responsible for the situation but have 100% control over ending their continued participation, men have 0%.

Arbitrary is something determined not for any specific reason or rule. In context, it means the judge is unfit for reasons not specific to Dr Ford's testimony. If you like I can phrase it another way. Kavanaugh is unfit for reasons that have nothing to do with the allegations related to Dr. Ford, her allegations or the FBI supplemental investigation.
/r/MensRights06/10/18 07:16 PM

That is hyperbolic at best. I'm an independent, I vote for who is best for the job. I have no problem with Gorsuch, even if I disagree with some of his statements and opinions. He's a decent person, a brilliant legal mind. Kavanaugh is also just as capable in terms of intellect, but he lies under oath. That fact alone means he isn't fit to serve as a judge.

Why is equity defacto better than equality (of opportunity) and equity together? A society doesn't have to choose between the two to provide everything needed for success as well as a level ground for opportunities. Both should be a goal for humanity. Men and women both want sex, why can't we respect people for being people when we're all guilty of seeking sexual companionship and comparability?
/r/MensRights31/12/17 01:50 PM

It's cool. Some people cannot have a rational discussion. Case and point, Pope Urban II started the crusades which arguably allowed for Christianity to conquer the west. A hero among Christians but started one of the biggest losses of life. Is Hitler better than him? Both of tried to commit genocide, is the Pope better or is Hitler better? Neither man is better or worse, their ideas however are what we should criticize. How about the Kim dynasty, nearly 4 million dead... Again ideas over the men…
/r/MensRights26/10/17 12:47 AM

Hopefully you can have a more rational discussion when you're older/wiser instead of resorting to ad hominem attacks against views you disagree with. Attack my ideas not me. Just like I did there, I attacked you personally. And it will get us nowhere. Present an idea worth talking about so we can both have a reasonable discussion.
/r/MensRights25/10/17 12:10 PM

Both thought they were doing the right thing for their people. So yea, neither was better than the other. Their ideas are what separates the two. Had history went differently Hitler would have been a hero and MLK just another ex convict. History is painting the men differently in your eyes when you should be looking at the ideas. Thankfully better ideas won out.
/r/MensRights25/10/17 11:27 AM

Exactly the opposite, no one is the same. We are all unique. We are all equal and no one is better than anyone else. Ideas are what we should criticize. Some ideas are better than others. But no one is better than anyone else.

Perfect, stats are worth putting up. Maybe use a picture or two as a backdrop for emphasis of the stat. But to post a picture of a white homeless man, without context is at best an anecdote. Provide stats, and cite credible sources. Use images as emphasis, not the point of focus.

No one is better than anyone else. We may think feminist and their ideas are wrong, but that doesn't make you or me better than them. I've been seeing this trend recently on this sub and its really turning into what I dislike the most a bout feminism. Trying to say we are for real equality and yet our actions are saying exactly the opposite. It's really disturbing, and I'm thinking that we need to reevaluate ourselves as a community. Otherwise we are just as guilty of a facade as modern feminism…

I was having a discussion the other day that touched on organizations actually are fighting equality outright... Do you have any court cases you can cite for NOW?

This is an issue, but not an equality issue.

I don't think it's all SJW, I think a large part of it is the drive to go to college isn't as strong as it was even 15 years ago. The ROI isn't there anymore for a lot of degrees.

Yea sorry, my mistake.
/r/MensRights13/02/17 09:01 PM

Are you a proponent of social Darwinism?
/r/MensRights12/02/17 12:07 AM

And an unhealthy lifestyle is a choice that tends to lead to illness. So it should be legal to fire someone for unhealthy lifestyles since that puts the company at greater risk that someone will fall ill and be less productive?
/r/MensRights11/02/17 11:33 PM
1

Every illness has some generic factors. It's your lifestyle that tends to lead toward those genetic expressions having an impact. Read the article. Lifestyle plays a critical part.
/r/MensRights11/02/17 11:17 PM
1

If your company is at risk of ruin based on one employees temporary need for assistance your business model should fail. It doesn't live up to the social contract we are all apart of to ensure that no one is left for dead because of someone else's profit margin.
/r/MensRights11/02/17 11:09 PM
1

So I would say at this point this sub is not the proper place for this discussion. We can continue in private if you want. I am down, I think it should be illegal for people to be fired for medical reasons and cannot see any reason not to offer this legal protection. In fact I can only think of reasons why this legal protection is of social and economic benefit.
/r/MensRights11/02/17 11:07 PM
1

No but I am. Under the impression that at time people need help. If you temporarily cannot lift box because you broke your arm in a car accident, I don't think you should be allowed to be fired for that. People get sick. All of us get sick. Why would you think it's fair and just for everyone to be at risk of financial ruin because of the facts of biology?
/r/MensRights11/02/17 11:00 PM
1

Yes you can. But it's lifestyle related. I was diagnosed T2 about 7 towards ago. Didn't have insurance at the time so couldn't afford meds. It only came out I was T2 because of a health thing sponsored by my employer at the time. I now have insurance. I take no meds. Am not T2. I also am not morbidly obese anymore. My blood sugar is normal. If it was solely blood related I would still be T2 would I not? Also here is a citation to refute your claims that there aren't lifestyle illnesses.
/r/MensRights11/02/17 10:58 PM
1

Yes t2 is. So is obesity. I know, I changed both by changing my lifestyle. So we should be able to fire someone for being sick is your position?
/r/MensRights11/02/17 10:25 PM

Did you miss the part that I said have them do another task? Work is still being done that needs to be done. It's a reason aw accommodation.
/r/MensRights11/02/17 10:24 PM
1

Sounds like the crux of our disagreement is whether it should be legal/ illegal to fire someone for their medical condition. Would you say that's a fair summary of the debate?
/r/MensRights11/02/17 09:48 PM
1

Or just answer the question. But I'll play ball. Here are two I'm personally familiar with myself. Morbid obesity and type two diabetes. Both of which my lifestyle changes have reversed.
/r/MensRights11/02/17 09:34 PM
2

What risks?
/r/MensRights11/02/17 09:24 PM
1

ADA stipulates that an employer make reasonable accommodations. If they stand and need to sit, a chair is reasonable. Lifting things that are too heavy, having another task for them and having a physically capable person lift is not unreasonable.

People don't choose to have cancer. Smoking is a leading cause of lung cancer. Should we be able to fire a smoker who gets lung cancer? So we agree, PTO is a part of your compensation package. Ok I'm not saying they should. I'm saying it shouldn't be illegal. So you think we should be allowed to discriminate against the sick? Should someone keep their job and same pay level even when their productivity decreases? If it's a due to a medical reason, and its a temporary situation yes. Like treatmen…

Define fair, and something is fair or ethical regardless of what the law says. Fair: Treating people equally without favouritism or discrimination No, the court system is ensure the laws are followed. The judicial branch decides the constitutionality of federal laws and resolves other disputes about federal laws. They apply the laws in pursuit of an outcome that is just and fair. Unhealthy lifestyles lead to people being unhealthy. So should we fire people who succumb to an illness because they chose to have an unhealthy lifestyle that lead to their illness?

Yes. We should be striving for the right to divorce ourselves from rights and financial responsibilities. The OP is counter productive and gives the movement a bad name.

You have a very twisted view of equality. How can that be? I want as much equality as humanly possible. What is twisted about that? it's actually men and only men that fund not just taxation, but post-industrial civilization as a whole, but you still support women having by mandate absolutely identical outcomes to men while having a massively lower cost to earn that outcome. Because equality. No. I am not saying anything is currently equal. We should be striving, fighting and desiring equality. …

I think the analogy is too flawed. If sugar was half the ingredients needed to make a cake I'd say of course. A better analogy would be would you expect equal access to use a car that you and a friend pay equal amounts to buy? Neither of you could have had the car without the others involvement.

Where have you been for the last 50 years, hun? Please stop calling me hun. Also I don't see how this answer the question. How are we supposed to make the case that men should be treated equally in the courts? You can be fired for poor performance, which isn't strictly against company policy. This makes no sense. You job is to perform your job. If you can't then it's not your job, so you're fired. It's literally in the part of the job descriptiom to be able to perform the job. Men can say no as …

My feelinga have nothing to do with it. It's a question of what place America should to take in the global economy. Do we as a nation want to be left behind while other nations progress? How is that good for the success of the country and its work force of we go from a nation of wealth to a banana republic? The employer can-and-often-does simply move operations to any backwater nation and pay people pennies on the dollar, which is more for them than they've ever made in their lives and gradually…

That said, employment is protected, but not a specific position, specific pay nor a specific benefits structure. This isn't a "lie" but it's a misrepresentation of the truth. Women aren't ever going to pay like men do, Especially not when you fire them for being pregnant women. How can we say the MRM is fighting for equality with attitudes like that? I would like to see those sources, however I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now. How is it equality to insist on firing pregnant women but giving men the choice to come back to work after FMLA? How come men deserve a choice and women do not? And how is denying women the choice striving towards equality?
/r/MensRights11/02/17 01:16 PM

If the laws increase equal and fair treatment I most certainly can use it to bolster the case. Not all laws are fair, that's why we have a court system. For example slavery wasn't fair. Prohibiting equal rights to vote wasn't fair. Unfair laws, or laws that are not just, are weeded out. Would you fire someone in China if they had a second child when the one child law was active? A heart attack can and has been attributed to life style choices. Choosing to eat unhealthy. Choosing to not exercise. Choosing to smoke. Even more so if you choose this bad lifestyle knowing you have family history of cardiovascular problems. How does being pregnant impact your performance? You're skill set doesn't change. You're work ethic doesn't change. Your productivity doesn't change (take any and all PTO like everyone else). If you have worked at your present company for at least a year, you are entitled by federal law to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid maternity leave. If it's illegal drugs, then it's a fire able offence. If they are drunk on the job, it's also illegal (public intoxication). So also fire able. Frequently not showing up for work is breach of contract in some cases, if not contract then against already established policy. Having a child is not against the law. It's also (more than likely) not a breach of contract upon hiring. Why is it fair to fire someone for a legal choice that is not against company policy?

Nobody should be fired to have an abortion for the same reason that women should be able to have them, its their body their choice. As for immoral boys actions... Had the girl respo…

I hope you find a way to move on from the anger and can see that we're all equal.from what I've read you're a gay individual. How would you feel if someone considered you a defective turkey baster? Why should men worry about not getting women pregnant when they can just blow a load up the slag and not look back? You are starting to sound like a troll, but I will humor you here. Because it is immoral. It is wrong to willfully put not only the woman, but potential child through a hard life simply because you are not responsible for your actions. It might take two to get pregnant, but the important person for getting pregnant can walk off and leave the incubator behind. You describe women lik…

So could the man. Yes it can be traumatic, i do not doubt that. There are a lot of anecdotes including stories of thankfulness and freedom. Both men and women have a responsibility. You really need to understand that. Men and women are equal in every sense and both have the power to choose what to do with their bodies before and after conception. Groups of cells do not have fingers toes and eyes. Netiher do Embryos. Embryos are not human beings, they are developmental stages between Zygote and F…

Girls have no choice with pregnancy. Yes they do. Its call an abortion. Its their body and their cells thus their decision and their legal choice. Your illogical dislike for the removal of a group of cells is not a kens rights issue.
/r/MensRights29/03/16 07:10 PM

That's like saying men should just not get womenn pregnant. It takes more than a woman to for her to become pregnant. You're part of tthe problem. Equality will never happen with people thinking the way you do. What are you gonna do stop men from masterbating too because of all the viable sperm?
/r/MensRights29/03/16 07:06 PM

Why is it the woman's responsiblity to stop? It take two to tango. Misogyny is man's rights. No, no one has a right to be superior to anyone.
/r/MensRights29/03/16 06:57 PM

This is not constructive. Abortion is a choice and a legal choice at that. It is a woman's choice to not be a slave to biology. Humanity itself is not a slave to biology. We are already over populated and there are already too much suffering by those in unloving homes or in homes that simply can't provide.

Dude relax... Grow some manners Seriously? I will not be taking advice from someone that cannot remain civil in a discussion. There is a difference in the debates about which the topics are "Is Abortion Murder?" and "Do people have a right to an abortion?" Can you murder something that is non-sentient? Then there is …

If you think about it. Evolutionarily it's not, the boy had met the age of reproduction and found a mate. We do not say young chimps are wrong to copulate when that are capable. Every woman is selfish because every woman is the center of her own world. I strongly disagree. I agree that strength and weakness (usually associated with females) are genderless. Ideally, there would be no expectations based on our gender, but I think the outlook for that is honestly so bleak..... I agree with this being something that is unlikely to happen soon. if it is meant to be like "sort yourself out, and do your best" or "stop wasting your time" etc If that is all it meant, then I would agree, but then I would also say that "Woman up" would mean the same thing. though,it can also be used in a pretty pathetic way too, to attempt to shame people. and that's just silly. How ever you want to call it, it implies that there are qualities that are attributed to the male gender. Why should there be any qualities, other than the biological consequences, attributed to the male gender? I do no think that being a man should mean anything different than being a woman. But these kind of phrases certainly make that implication.
/r/MensRights28/05/14 06:43 PM

By condemning an inequality, you support its antithesis. Could you explain what you mean by this? Excluding one race, regardless of which race it is, from assistance programs doesn't sound very "equal" to me. I think you are missing my point. Because there are already projects and organizations that are inclusive of those in the majority needing help. Think of this in another way, an analogy from my own life I feel may be appropriate. I was in Calculus in 10th or 11th grade, I was doing well at a B average. The teacher offered a few after hours tutoring sessions. This is what I do not understand, there are already government programs that are all inclusive. What is wrong with targeting a group that statistics are showing are falling far behind? Comparing everyone to white males, everyone is behind. yes white males need help, but everyone else needs more help. Even though things are not perfect for white men, their level of success is still greater than others, that is what this project is trying to fix!

This I can agree with. We certainly need more groups like Pandys and Rainn which offer support groups specifically for males that are victims of sexual abuse. I wouldn't mind a more national focused organization and if you know of one that would be great to spread around. Quite correct white middle aged men have recently emerged as a new high-risk group for suicide and I think there needs to be a preventative group that targets that group as well. For those looking for more research in this area here is a recent study.
