6	Do girls approach? Another example outside of that is if you're at a bar and you notice a specific girl near you everywhere you go. I was in Boston this past weekend and a group of girls kept being in close proximity to my group of friends since we were having a blast and I kept noticing a blonde eyeing me up and eventually approached her. I tend not to text much between dates and use texting only to schedule them really. I always feel I have to have some sort of opener or two before I ask for a date. Girls want a guy to take charge and control the interaction and set up times to get together. 2	[FR] Got rejected via text then ended up with a date and #-close a few hours later I try not to. Locks you in place for far too long (which is awful if the date is going terribly). Going to a nice bar to get a drink is my preferred choice since usually by the end of a drink it's easy to tell if you get along and can have fun. If it's going well I'll usually bounce us around and if she comes up with an idea on the fly we do that. How I handle it usually is I'll cover one thing and basically just ask if they want to cover the next thing we do (so if we meet for drinks then get ice cream I just ask for the check, look at her and say "I'll get the drinks and you get the ice cream?"
