I was talking about /u/DariusSSfJ and in both cases yes they are.

I love that he put quotation marks around something OP never said/wrote, then used OP's exact words.

This is great advice. It's also important to understand, OP, that you're suffering from a lot of built-up stigma over and sexuality. We live in a society that treats sex -- especially the first time you have it -- as something super important, but in reality it's not. (NA culture is also totally schizophrenic about its opinions on sex: innocent girls = good; slutty girls = bad; sell absolutely everything with scantily-clad women = fine; nipple during primetime = far from fine.) You have to liste…

Do you mean when she says her friends like you? Or her friend likes you? Important distinction.

Dear lord, this thing has been posted seven thousand times on my FB (mostly by girls).

I think in this particular case we can listen to most of it because it's hardly dating advice, but common courtesy. Who the fuck asks "So how do you think this is going?" midway through a date?

That's what I was thinking. They probably think he's some kind of street magician who's fucking with them.

Agreed. It's terribly written. There's no advice on how to "avoid getting emotionally attached," aside from "you should have sex with a lot of girls."

Anytime a video starts with something like, "ANY GIRL, ANY TIME, ANYWHERE," I immediately discount.

Keep speaking. Remain friends ("friends" -- keep a consistently sexual vibe and let her know you're interested). Make an excuse to come back to her city or meet up in a bigger one again. Sounds a bit simple, but if it's a chick you vibe with then honestly she'll probably want to see you again, too. There's a "foreigner"/out-of-her-reach feeling that you definitely work to your advantage.

When you are talking with a girl at the bar/a party/coffee shop/etc the rules of storytelling are the same as they are on paper or film. Make it A) as brief as possible but as long as it needs to be, B) well-paced (e.g. no need to describe the funny eyeliner than one chick was wearing), and C) consistently entertaining. Just play to your audience and make sure they want to hear what you have to say. If they weren't interested in the subject/topic before, make them. Now, realizing that this infor…

For all intents and purposes, act like nothing happened. Allow yourself to give as few fucks as possible and move on. If nothing else she now unequivocally knows that you are interested in her. If you keep spending time with her, it's very possible to turn this around, just have zero expectations, move on emotionally, and treat her the same as before. If she digs you she'll probably let it be known.

Alcohol + good sound system = dancing will happen (in my experience). If your friends are a little frigid about shaking their asses, then be willing to be the first one on the dance floor. Good opportunity to show your confidence even if you suck.

I was wondering this myself. If anything, I think it'd be a good thing for our community that this piece of human garbage was anti-PUA.

Yeah man, I've been there. I think I have a similar sense of humor. Learn to smirk or smile and you'll be streets ahead. It's important to have your own fun, but make sure you give off a welcoming/enjoyable/entertaining vibe for others.

Not to stereotype, but from my experience with girls who are into girls, their relationships are often looser, less defined, and more sexually free than typical hetero relationships. Her being into girls does not at all mean she's not also attracted to dudes. You're not necessarily barking up the wrong tree. Maybe they're looking for a third...

Reading your post, I was waiting for the words "dry" or "deadpan" to come up. From your description I'd guess you often find yourself in situations where people don't even realize you're kidding around. This kind of dry, bizarre humor can exceedingly entertaining, but people probably need to attune themselves to your personality and sense of humor. For example, one of the funniest dudes I've ever met is a coworker of mine, and his humor sounds very close to what you described. I'll often think s…

Similar (very broad) advice that I'd give to a dude. Be sexually forward without coming off as desperate. Invite him out, make sure to kino (touch his leg, shoulder, back, etc...). Text him stuff that suggests you want him inside you without, you know, coming right out saying that you want him inside you (yet!). Key is to suggest interest without -- I cannot stress this enough, it looks awful on guys and girls -- seeming at all desperate. And don't get hung up. If he doesn't bite -- which he lik…

Nice, thanks. I'm a recent Anglo arrival to Quebec, so my French speaking/writing skills are a little weak. That was my attempt to write out what I'd heard.

This is killer advice. Moving "typical" conversations a step further always establishes intimacy.

Just try to have fun no matter the situation. Genuine fun. Even if there's not a girl around. If you think something is funny, say it. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Watch RSD Julien's videos on self-amusement and being able to have as much fun with a 2 as you do with a 10. (On mobile so no links, sorry.) His style rules.

This is one of the few areas I actually feel confident in giving advice, so here goes. First and foremost, un-friendzone yourself. If I'm interested in a girl I know, a friend, someone from work, a classmate, etc., even if it isn't serious interest, I'll usually try to do something so that they do not think of me as the nice guy/friend-type. It doesn't really matter what it is. Tell a funny/gross/stupid sex story. Bluntly hit on her. In my experience even talking about past girlfriends/girl dram…

I did exactly that at 27. Best advice I can give you: roommates. I stayed with a family friend until I found a place on craigslist. The people I moved in with were fucking awesome, and my whole friend circle just kind of developed from there. I might have gotten lucky, but I specifically looked around for people who I felt were "the same" as me, and it happened remarkably fast. I would just throw yourself out there and see what you can see. If that sucks, go to a reddit meet up. Some of us are c…

I'm sure others have done better, but I had three hook ups in one weekend. That was surreal. I'm not even very good at this shit.

This is great advice, especially #5. Don't let some moron who fetishized chastity color the rest of your dating life.
