I have a stutter. I was in your spot before. I stutter when I'm nervous so obviously my approaches would get me babbling like an idiot. I kept at it. Slowly confidence rises, nervousness and stutter fall. I still stutter but i ignore and and proceed with the conversion. AND never, not once has someone commented on my stuttering in a negative way.
