To add, I would have a 'Fight Bag' or a 'Buggout Bag' in case of fights where you might be kicked out of the house or a natural disaster. Include some clothes, some portable, important documents, toiletries, some cash, and some credit cards.

I think the opportunity for satire would be immense. However, far too often, satire is taken seriously and would then be seen as a threat instead of actually inspiring conversation or compassion.

I think this is actually common. I recently heard a podcast where a sex advice columnist had a lesbian guest talk about how hard it was for women to open up to each other and pick up each other. And it was still the fault of men. Somehow.

To their credit, Garfunkel and Oates acknowledge this sort of thing, but still do the wrong thing... http://youtu.be/Fr8HKRTavM0

I would argue that it is the go-to tool that many women use. It is because many women define their worth through their ability to sexually manipulate or find it the most easy to use and effective tool. I recently heard that a lot of ASMR content providers on Youtube were having problems with creepers. They do exist, but there also exist a bunch of women who whisper, aren't that good at it but wear revealing tops and are often selling another product or mislabeling their videos to get page views.…

Ah I see the difference in our perspectives. I'm coming from the view of relationship advice industry (The Rules vs PUA etc.) I think Patrice O'Neal had something to say about it if I can find it. I think you are coming from an individual basis. Upvoting you.

I think it is a very human thing to have confirmation bias. I've noticed women give information on how to date... themselves, not necessarily the target audience that an individual guy is trying to date. And even then, they run into a sort of witness bias. The only women I would trust would be those that tested ideas on a diversity people, tracked success and failure rates, and were able to step outside of themselves in order to avoid bias. Sadly there are few of those. But they exist in the sam…

No, it isn't that you don't think that you are helping. However, those actions create the results that 'feminists' are trying to prevent. It is called unintended circumstances and 'feminists' are complicit with allowing rapes to happen by not going to the sources of the problem. Also, since 'feminists' can't handle criticism, the problems simply continue, because the actions done toward the problem never change. It is like the War on Terror, the War on Drugs, etc. The War on Rape will never end.…

Let's see, Rape crisis hotlines-aftercare Self-defense classes-preventative, before care counseling services-aftercare victim advocacy-aftercare Female officers speaking to HS and college women-preventative but also tend to demonize male sexuality. At the very least this shows that 3 out of 5 'things' that 'feminists' do have a vested interest in rape continuing. Perhaps not in money, but perhaps in giving the feeling of importance to those going into the nurturing professions. If the appearance…

Have you read the Elana Clift thesis on the movement? It appears that there has always been some sort of movement for men to learn how to court women. I keep getting spam from my time with them and it seems that there are the 'McDonald' franchise like PUA coaches who give easy answers and market in a generally misogynistic fashion towards guys in their early 20s. There are others in the general heading of 'relationship advice' that are somewhat good, that ex-PUAs and others tend to find as the a…

That's because he is an 'ex-PUA'. I heard him interviewed on the Sex Nerd Sandra Podcast and he entered the PUA community because he was outdone by a more 'alpha' friend at a wedding. My experience with the PUA community is that men come out of it often with the baggage they came in with. They go completely /r/redpill like /u/Whisper, somewhere in the middle (around here somewhere) /u/FrenchFuck , or completely maginaish (and I hate to use that term). It seems to be a crucible where men 'become …

You know, some lawyers suggest that you also file a Protective Order so that if they invade your space, they are violating it too. This also would get it into the system and the police would likely have to investigate all claims. This is not meant as legal advice, but an idea to bring up to your lawyers.

And an entire industry of women fueling it. http://www.amazon.com/All-Rules-Time-tested-Secrets-Capturing/dp/0446618799/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1364524527&sr=8-1&keywords=the+rules I swear, if feminists keep blaming only men for their problems they don't realize the inherent sexism of the problem.

Well consider, that you get in trouble for calling someone girl, lady, gal, woman, female, I suppose it doesn't matter, but I thought I would cover as much of the bases as possible. I was trying to be nice and not use things such as bitch, cunt, feminazi, whore, strumpet, slut, etc.

Well, one model I've been exposed to is because of neotony and a default to feeling like an object with little agency, they try to please the agent of change (usually men). And by being pleasing, they will say anything without giving actual information in the hope of being pleasing. In addition to their identity being tied to 'being' as opposed to 'doing', their value system needs to be translated accordingly. They perceive in terms of 'being' instead of 'doing'.

I would really like this, but I realized that most forms of feminism aren't about partnership or creating a better deal between the sexes. Neither is MRM or MHRM or whatever you want to call it. I think very many bio-women or cis-women tend toward fear and recoiling for the most part. Then when most of them feel they're backed into a corner, they will lash out viciously. Since by socialization/ culture/ biology most of them don't directly confront their problem, they will seek to undermine the p…

I think a fundamental problem is that very many businesses don't take into account what exactly they want from a person (the job task required to get the desired result) and how much an individual can give. If we look at Yahoo recalling telecommuters back to the office or being laid off, Yahoo either didn't specify what work they wanted from their workers or did not update the work requirements as business pressures changed. This was their first problem with dealing with efficiency. Do you want …

Fair enough. But it is something that humans do inadvertently. I figure where possible, you set the tone before someone else creates the category for you. That's what gender feminists have done and also who they changed 'Global Warming' to 'Climate Change'. Preemtive definition setting is sometimes unfortunate and necessary marketing.

Of course, there are the people that try to avoid both labels and identify as egalitarian or humanist.

Some people use Egalitarianism. Some people use both. The problem is that as stated in the FAQ: Feminism isn't an equality movement. It is an ideology. http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/g2eme/feminists_tell_you_that_the_solution_to_mens/ In spite of women now going to college more than men and if you are under 30, and single, making more than men, they are still pushing and pushing and pushing. Does that sound like an equality movement? Feminism has fought against shared custody. It ha…

Well thank you in spite of your experiences still pursuing the concepts of justice. No sarcasm. I for one makes me think you care about us as men and would attempt to understand us instead of vilifying all of us. I stopped reading 2x after I visited and was attacked by a radical feminist about 2-3 years ago in the forum. Again, thank you for at least trying to understand us and give us compassion. It means a lot. Really. We don't get a lot from many places, or it doesn't feel like we do.

I would also like to add this shows that women can be violent, they just get others to do the dirty work. Conspiracy in this case is equal to action.

I wonder if we all could just concentrate on trying to inoculate ourselves against the narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths. And for the narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths, get them to do something productive.

Also thank you. I was sort of driven off 2X when it became more about feminism than female culture. I've been recently listening to Alison Armstrong who in her philosophy posits: What if everyone is doing the best they can to behave? Another thing that attracted me to her philosophy was giving men credit for what they do well. We're a little jumpy here because we've had a few people trolling the subreddit with new accounts claiming to be something else they are not and trying to rile us up. Then…
