My problem isn't that I need to make her happy, it's that I want someone who as is into me as I am into them.

There is one other sibling that I have but I was mature enough when she was born causing me to have only child characteristics. Unconditional love and care; my mother was wonderful.

I'm not borderline but I dated a girl who was before in a previous relationship. The problem is that I assume if the chick isn't very into me that she isn't really interested in me enough for the relationship to go anywhere.

Fuck. That almost made me cry. Is crying allowed in TRP?

If the tactic doesn't work, to basically wrap you around their finger, they move Wow.

Wow bro. Yes. Since I enjoy stability I want to help people who don't have it. So why am I attracted to them in the first place? Is it because crazy chicks are seductive?! And then I start to develop feelings for them and want to help them, but they are not stable and don't respond to love so what the crap dude I think I seriously figured this out. This tends to be the situation in my life which I'm trying to fix.

Some girl i dated did something similar to me once, there was a night when we were supposed to meet up and she's like "I won't be ready until 8." I said "ok." She goes "isn't that too late?" Based on this response I didn't know if it was a test or a lack of interest or what. Seemed to be an awkward reply for someone who wanted to meet you.

They don't respond to stability. Might this just be something they think they want?

Should I call her out on it and see what she says?

I felt she was insecure so I tried increasing comfort, which at first didn't work. Comment, I'm a pretty calm person and I don't like to play the jealousy game, so if someone is unhappy, whether acquaintance or lover, I try to make them feel better. She was deflecting hardcore, telling me that if I think she's insecure it must be because I'm insecure (similar to a rehash of what a psychologist would tell someone). Near the end, she admitted she was insecure and then THE NEXT DAY texted me saying…

About the other comments, I'm familiar with weightlifting and was competitive at one point. I have a business in addition to doing intense development work, resulting in me finding you.

So you are saying I'm her oneitis, like she wants me? Or are you saying I want her?

I wouldn't say I really do stuff for her, I mean she's letting me stay at her place so certainly I'm helping out around the house. She does as much for me as I do for her. She bought me (us) some stuff the other day. I just think she smells good. rofl. Like once we started talking I Had a bit of a crush on her but not so much anymore. I sometimes get the urge to make out with her but I'm not like imagining her all day long or anything. This is my situation with her. Actually, I like being in thi…

When we spoke, she said she saw me being authentic with the woman that I am living with, and she didn't think I was being that way with her. She said this made her feel jealous. I guess by authentic she means my true self = comfortable. The woman I'm living with is someone I know from work, we're good friends but nothing more. We have a fake marriage situation going on, doing stuff together but seriously just as friends. She comes to visit me all the time at work and the girl I'm fucking sees us…

She called me this weekend and was essentially crying for part of the phone call because she felt I was being inauthentic and was moderately jealous of the girl I'm living with (see other post). The girl I'm dating is extremely into self development so I slightly feel like I can talk to her about this stuff but this would be a mistake, right? When I first heard this I thought it was her chasing me, but I think it might have been her trying to get me to fall into protector role, which is what my …
