Lol simmer down, big guy. You basically restated the point that I was already making: The data is based on self-report and is, therefore only as reliable as the responses given. So, since we know that self report surveys tend to have performance bias (the respondent being influenced by the knowledge that someone will evaluate their response), and the study does not appear to have taken measures to buffer the effect of PB on the data, the accuracy and reliability of the study is questionable. Yes and no - the CDC extrapolated a lot of good analysis from the data (the focus was sexual behavior and relationship with STD prevalence). That said, the only way to get the data was self-report, since we do not have car fax report for our nether regions (lol). Just read the article; the data is based on self-report surveys (anonymous, but you almost always have a performance bias in self report - and there didn't seem to be any validity checks built in to combat this). So, in all likelihood, males were inflating their n-count, while female respondents were deflating; as seen in day-to-day interpersonal dynamics. Write the paper, and follow the writing prompt guidelines to the letter (disregard her bullshit verbal guideline of keeping women's issues first). If she has any issues, have you parents back you up, and escalate to the necessary level to outweigh her personal bias.
