If toxicity is a barrier, you're not even a contender in esports tbh. That shit is inherent in every highly competitive game. And the insults are always tailored to whose being insulted. Which is why women are insulted for being women. If something gets a rise out of you, they're going to keep going there. Men's masculinity is attacked equally if not more in games (no white knights saving other dudes).

LOL right? The beginning claimed this is one of the most audacious attempts by a wife to frame her husband. Suuuuure it was.

How can you be a "reformed" roastie? Is that like reheated past the date meatloaf?

That's why I loved 4chan's "tits or gtfo." There's no reason to identify your gender unless you're looking to get something extra from it.

Skyler and the Teller Mom from SoA are the only tv characters that have made me seethe with anger. Meddling pieces of crap.

Exactly, MGTOW is not about the label, but the second you use it as such, ALL the shit the other person feels about or has heard about it will be attached to their view of you. If people ever steer the conversation towards not dating or anything MGTOW related I usually just say, "I don't because I'm poor." That is much safer.

This was my experience and it was the clearest red pill I ever had because they could act that way, dress that way, etc and will still get everything handed to them on a silver platter. Why am I going to spend my college years improving who I am as an individual only to have to slave and sift through the shit pile for women who haven't made an ounce of effort at self betterment and only change when the impending doom of the wall hits.

When did "marrying up" have to do with education? **Edit for clarity, if I read correctly the article is using only education as the bar of value not actual jobs/salaries after the fact.

Like sour milk, hahaha. I don't know if its true, but maybe its because use of makeup is much more prominent and starts so much earlier. Sets a really high bar in youth that quickly goes away, and I'm pretty sure its also bad on skin. There's also tanning and popularity of plastic.
/r/MGTOW23/08/17 12:37 AM

It definitely seems to be getting earlier than it used to be. I'm 26 so I basically have a front row seat to the transformation.

Early 20's: looks, no substance. Early 30's: looks already fading, maybe some substance by now. desperation setting in. Late 30s-40s: Looks have faded, abandons substance for cats and loathing for men. Desperation channeled into guilt-bashing men their age that don't want them.

This is the biggest problem with just about every "social justice" talking point, they believe that feminist sources are the only valid sources and in no way bias. Its absolutely absurd. Took a class on Asian Americans in media and a Videogame Culture/Fandom class recently. In both these classes they backed up all of their views on what is problematic with feminists only sources.

Putting us all into a box and labeling it MGTOW is how they build an enemy to slander. Most of the people on here have wildly different lifestyles/philosophies. Remember fellas, whether its called mgtow or just plain independent, what matters is you're enjoying life more because of it.

Ya. I think the story was posted awhile back on reddit about how they did a survey and most young men in Japan would rather not receive anything. Societal pressures to not stick out I hear are a lot worse there though.

If you need more proof look up obligation chocolate and White day reciprocation. Women make homemade chocolate for their love interests or store bought obligation chocolate just acquaintances. On white day you're expected to give gifts to all the women you got something from that are ~2-3 times more valuable.

I'm finding the longer you go through the invisible years the less it makes sense to get into a relationship. In your youth/prime you'rer nothing. Then later in life people try to latch you down and pressure you into relationships with aged women that didn't give you a second glance before.

Those are sub collars but they've become sort of a popular mainstream accessory (with the return of chokers). I don't think most of them are into the whole bdsm thing, its just another way to brag about their sexuality and get attention for being "edgy". It's a shame, it waters down the real bdsm community, like "50 shades of grey" did.

Dare women to risk rejection if they want equality. It's like the #1 fear they all have. They won't ask guys out first, they won't ask for raises, they all kiss ass to each other's face, because they fear rejection and can get by without risking it.

Ladies can make profit just by wearing and reselling underwear, posting their amazon wishlists and getting stuff for free, selling polaroids of the same shit they are posting for free on social media, selling "private" snapchat and blog access. I don't blame them though, I would be cashing in on that too. I do blame the dudes buying all that shit though.

Almost all the people going to college parties dress exactly the same, during the day and during the parties, It's like they have uniforms. In Texas its trashy oversized and faded shirts with plastic athletic shorts or yoga pants during the day, bodycon dresses and an inch of makeup at night. For the guys its polos with cargo shorts or jeans with boat shoes and button ups with slacks and the same shoes at night.

Hey Migo_Mcgee, here's my advice. You don't need to stay MGTOW per se, but, reflect on what your values are, what you want out of life. Then explore from there. You will risk getting hurt, but sometimes you need experience to learn for yourself. I didn't set out to fit the "MGTOW" box, in fact there wasn't even a label for what I was doing. Early on I chose to value my time and avoid drama (aka bullshit you see other people experiences) above all else. I was always open minded to relationships (…

For me its a little of the opposite. I'm a romantic at heart but I'm constantly trying to justify marriage to myself. So far, I always come to the conclusion that you can commit to a partner and have a strong bond with them without a paper saying you have to be together. The choice to be together knowing you don't have to be makes the relationship that much stronger.

Train your self control. Regular masturbation is healthy and normal, but you have to keep it in check. Start by limiting yourself to a certain time/day and stick to that. Force yourself to create a new habit. With you limit being enforce get other shit done that you were previously procrastinating and use the set day as a reward for your discipline. If it continues to be a problem extend how long you go without. They say new habits take about a month to form.

If you think about hookup culture in general and do the math its pretty scary. If someone was to only hook up every 2 months (which is like a dry spell for women, they measure in weeks) that's 24 dudes in 4 years. Promiscuity is not really what bothers me about high numbers of partners, but I do question someone's ability to be genuinely intimate when they go through that many people.
/r/MGTOW08/01/17 11:13 PM
9

To oversimplify media history for a second: You have to remember what pays for tv and why it was developed. Money was not brought into tv for art's sake, it was to sell advertising. Shows are bought and funded for to be put in time slots and networks where they will appeal to a demographic that advertisers want. There is the argument of creator vision but that has to be balanced in "I still have to get funded if I ever want to create that vision."

I think the best thing you can do to focus on yourself is really reach and understanding of what you want out of all this work you've been putting it. What satisfaction are you directly getting from it. The attention from women may be a side effect of all this hard word, but would they stick around if you weren't? I will always hold the door for anyone I see coming, because I was raised to, but I too pray for a day someone says that shit to me.

I see this all the time on the bus. Young women won't offer seats to elder riders, begrudgingly move from the seat that the wheel chair person needs to be in, and longingly glance for someone to give up a seat when there are plenty between people that they feel are "gross" or "weird". Meanwhile I've seen dudes offer up seats all the time.

Not to mention the ones who take up seats when they're only going 1 stop. Fuck that, I've got another 5 to go!
