If she lied in court while under oath, yes. However, the sentence for that is different everywhere. In California, (where I am,) it’s a maximum of four years. If she just lied to the police, she would likely would just get filing a false police report, which is a maximum of six months.

I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, but three years is much more than most rapists, (of any gender,) get.

U.S. physicians would actually kill for socialized healthcare. I’m a trauma surgeon, so I regularly end up working for free. If single-payer was a thing here - like it is in the rest of the civilized world - none of us would be forced to work for less than we deserve/earn. A driving force of the COVID devastation in the U.S. is our lack of socialized medicine.

Unfortunately there are a large amount of women that are victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, coercion, partners that decide they’re not down with the kids’ menu after they’ve sauced an egg, and - thanks to COVID - a lot of unexpected deaths. Of course, there are also women who trap their partners, are irresponsible with protection, and some that just plain should have gotten their tubes tied at the first available opportunity. I’m an emergency physician, and I think there are a lot of …

You’re correct that Primary Care/Family Medicine/Internal Medicine are the lowest paying specialties; however, even if their clinic is only open three days, they are in fact working five-seven days, (there are a whole lot of WFM, on-call, rounding hours, even in FM — they are usually paid a salary because if they were to be paid by the hour they would be making double what they are being paid.) Unfortunately, their specialty is disappearing, and insurance companies know it and thus nickel-and-di…

More accurately, most can’t save or invest. I’m a physician who is lucky enough to not be drowning in debt because I was lucky enough to be able to pay my way through med school modeling, but my colleagues that did not aren’t making flashy purchases, (most have commuter cars and apartments/rented rooms,) because we have to pay for malpractice insurance, OOP work expenses, medical board memberships, etc. on top of large loan repayments and the same expenses as other people. Medicine isn’t as lucr…

I would agree with him if contraceptive and abortion access weren’t so fucking [pun not intended] difficult to come by for many women — especially those that would be using the bus as their primary mode of transportation.

And the reality is, providing evidence that you committed a crime is a criminally stupid idea, and like I said, if the complaint is made in your absence, it can’t even be used in your defense - not to mention, there’s nothing to stop whoever you are recording from not saying that they were forced to say it under duress. Audio record is what I’m talking about, bro. I’m not referring to telephone calls, I’m talking about audio recording of a in-person conversation. Where illegal, best case scenario, it’s inadmissible, (and the police won’t consider it when it becomes obvious it was recorded without consent,) worst case you’re going to jail.

It’s absolutely not “de facto legal.” Please stop giving legal advice. You are clearly not an attorney, and if he takes your advice, depending on where he lives, he could end up in jail.

To be fair, even he admits she’s a large reason why the company is as successful as it is. They started the company together - this isn’t a gold digger.

Your wife treating you like that I promise is not universal, (not that that is helpful to you...that’s seriously shitty that she treats you like that. My husband does all of our laundry except for a few specific pieces that he knows I’m particular about. Other than that, I can’t be fucked to care about how he folds my jeans, haha.) I think the important thing to remember for everyone is that both men and women, (and everyone in between,) all have different struggles. The focus is currently on wo…

Oh, absolutely. I’m just saying that a SAHM being a cost isn’t an absolute...and can actually be a benefit. And it much more has to do with the cost of childcare than the average wage.

Depending on the cost of childcare in your area, a SAHM may actually save you money.

Female surgeon here. That is absolutely not the case. What we look down on is the idea of having a partner that just plain has zero ambition and expects us to bankroll laziness. Before I got married, I encountered more than one dude whose life plan became living off of me while they stayed home and played Xbox. Hell, even if my husband just did nothing but volunteer work, he would at least be doing something.

Absolutely not. The median income of a single person, not even a household, is $157K where I live.

29F surgeon here. It absolutely does matter to some men. Prior to my husband, I encountered men who either wanted me to drop out of medical school and find something "more feminine" and some that thought they were gonna get to dick around and play Xbox all day because of my career. I modeled to pay my way through medical school so I had no debt, and the aforementioned Xbox aficionados often thought that since I was debt-free that money should become their play money. It can be difficult on both …

There are now circumcisions done under nerve blockade. Many hospitals/parents do not do it that way due to cost. My hospital, on the other hand, will not perform a circumcision without a nerve block.
/r/MensRights14/12/19 10:05 PM

Not all circumcision is done without anesthetics anymore. There are quite a few hospitals now, (including the one that I work with,) that will only do circumcisions under nerve blocks. This allows the boy/man to remain completely numb during the healing process is well underway. Most in my area will not perform a circumcision without some form of anesthesia, actually; and by-and-large the places that will do them without anesthetic are private birthing centers, or unqualified laypeople at home b…

Not all of them of course. But there are a lot of references to men being dogs that you find in women's language about men. Most women are called bitch easily once-a-week, so I think you may want to reevaluate the argument you're trying to make.

Being a woman doesn’t making me a troll. I openly admit to being a woman in this sub. Commenting in r/Relationships isn’t the same as asking for advice from r/Relationships, BTW. Right now, we don’t know what the compensation rates from whom are for the examiner, but it is an important detail that Moore’s attorneys aren’t disputing the findings. By the way, if you are so “threatened” that you think a woman speaking is “threatening” you, you’re not a MG[Y]OW. You’re a boy.

Full disclosure: I am a woman. I just think there are some people who might genuinely misread/misinterpreted actions that don’t deserve their entire life being nuked. Be educated and try to do better? Yes. However, immediately just telling someone that what they grew up learning is ending their livelihood does nothing but increase the chance they become bitter and hating.

I definitely think there are some overreactions and revenge-accusations, but I honestly think Moore did this, (especially after hearing an independent expert.)

Literally had someone once walk past me and literally grab me by the pussy while I was both visibly pregnant and with my husband at a concert. I get their point that most men know their boundaries, (ish,) but you're right that even if a small microcosm don't it can add up.
