Respectfully, I think you’re overthinking it. Any reasonable dude will understand the reality of taking your dog on a walk. Do it as gracefully as you can, double bag it lol, and just be casual about it don’t let it ruin your day worrying what he’s gonna think. You probably don’t want someone who can’t handle the sight of you picking up your own dogs poop haha. Especially when it was his idea.

I was divorced a year and a half ago and a year later I remarried to an awesome Christian man who is literally everything I could ever ask for. Being divorced sucks, but it definitely doesn’t disqualify you from a happy life and a stellar quality gentleman.

It’s not worth demasculating him over it by butting in on what he thinks is his area of responsibility. Unless it is a serious issue I don’t think this warrants unsolicited advice from you. Let him break things, cost money, learn the hard way, and only be encouraging until he specifically asks you for advice. The most I would do is sweetly offer him if you can do anything to help him.

I’m 26, and I’m still 50/50 about whether to even have kids but if we do it’ll probably be around age 30 when we start trying / looking into adoption. And I want 2 kids, 3 max.

Not sure what you mean...i was very unhappily married long before I ever found the RP, and my marriage now is much happier because of what I learned from it. And I never said this would work for everyone, just that it worked for me.

Thank you! I think it was just the fresh start and being able to have everything else in our relationship be right. I am not the type that could enjoy sex when other things in the relationship were so wrong, so I never realized how wonderful it could be. I personally think that in a married relationship, friends of the opposite sex are only appropriate if they’re in a couple’s shared social circle, and only spend time with them when in a group and with your spouse.
