There’s a lot of misinformation here. Cannabis is not a psychedelic for one. Is it right for everyone? No. But it is a plant that has therapeutic benefits and is a life saving drug for people like me who have mental illness that does not respond to other drugs. I am specifically prescribed to take thc products. I feel for you and your struggle with addiction and I do know people who are dependent and addicted to cannabis but it seems like you are from a marijuana fearing country that spreads a l…

So if we said we were taking anti depressants or anxiety meds every day would you still come to us with this? Because anti anxiety meds made me suicidal but smoking a lil weed at night makes me able to function as a normal person. I mean, maybe it’s a culture thing cause I live in Canada and it’s legal here. I have a prescription for capsules with CBD and a touch of thc for the Day time prescribed by my primary physician specifically because he’s known me since a kid and has seen what pharmaceut…

I have a horrid anxiety disorder that doesn’t respond to anti anxiety or anti depression meds. Cannabis is the only thing that helps me. The best bonding moments my partner and I have are when we smoke together before lying in bed and talking/ watching tv at the end of the night. We laugh hysterically, talk about everything and get a good nights rest. I agree that anyone who is part of stoner culture is a deal breaker tho. Like if your identity is wrapped up in enjoying weed that’s such a turn o…

I told him what happened once I actually got back inside. He helped me tell the bouncer and make sure the guy couldn’t get back in and waited for the police with me. There are good men out there. That one is my best friend’s husband and I couldn’t be more pleased for them they are the perfect couple. They give me hope.

During the height of the #metoo movement I was at a bar to see a friend’s band play. I forgot something in the car so I went to go get it. I remember a friend asking if I wanted him to walk with me and me saying no no don’t miss any of the set because the car was just half a block away. As I was crossing the street a man ran up to me and grabbed my ass and kept his hand there until I got away. But that’s not even the story. That’s just the first time I was sexually assaulted that night. As I was…

It’s not a competition. I am just saying there are no shortage of men that meet the fit and attractive description who are willing and wanting to date women who are bigger than the standardized beauty norm. We know that a lot of men see thinness as beauty, I am just offering a counter narrative for women reading this who may be on the journey I was. They do not need to settle for less because they do not fit in to this box.

You are not responsible to educate men on why they should view you as a human being and equal. Period.

Not to mention, go to the bathroom and jerk it then. Like even if we lived in some Scifi world where this was true, his dick problems are not her problems.

I dunno, to me I'd respect this way more if once I told him why I am wary of putting men in my life he respected my boundary and stopped talking to me until he leveled up and felt that he made changes necessary to make me comfortable.

Why are you still entertaining him at all? This seems like the perfect storm for the beginning of a "Situationship". I say this with love as a natural caregiver who has learned that I'm attracted to men with issues because I like taking care of people and am actively trying to fix this so I don't keep doing the same. <3

I got out of a long term relationship right before stay at home orders and travel cancellations started here. I’ve been shocked at how many men have asked or begged me to break quarantine to come see them. Thanks to FDS I am blocking them all immediately now without response. But, it’s truly shocking.

Well, I used to be the PickMe that would have at least tried to keep the peace and hope he’d stick around. So it’s progress at least. I realized after posting I should have blocked with no response but I was shocked because I’ve known him for quite some time. I’m sure it was sent to others as well but he has been in to me for a while. 🤷🏼‍♀️

True I should have blocked right away. I was shocked because it was someone I’ve known a long time and didn’t expect something like this from.

I regret reporting. Police treated me like garbage and retraumatized me. I think you’ll find most women experience the same. There’s a reason why many women will not report. I can’t say I would if I were to go through it again.

Lol Jessica's biggest PickMe moment was when Barnett rejected her and she ran back to the guy who liked her and tried to force herself to love him? She is a disaster.

Yep. I’ve been in a relationship with a small dicked man who gave great head but it never made up for the lack of big dick energy.

I love a big dick. I’m really tired of people treating me like it’s a character flaw. Dick size matters to me and so all the pickmes that are scared of feeling the pleasure of that can go ride their little pickles and leave the rest to me.

He ain’t your friend sis!! Had a fwb I considered one of my best friends for years. We even made it through me getting exclusive once in a while and remaining friends. The moment I met my boyfriend and it was clear I was head over heals for this guy and wasn’t missing the intimacy with the FWB at all, the moment he realized that I wasn’t ever gonna show my tits to him again, silence. I have a series of “WYD” texts sent in the early morning hours from him now. Clearly desperate hope that somethin…

I had a fwb for years. I legit considered him one of my closet friends. We had intense conversations about our mutual passions (social justice), music, gave each other career advice, etc. The moment my boyfriend and I made our relationship official he stopped talking to me. Except the occasional 3am “WYD” text. He ain’t your friend, sis.

Thank you. I am ashamed to say that I was compelled to write all of this because I have been the person who let myself be treated that way far too many times. If anything comes from my past dating life, I hope it's prevention of other women having to learn the hard way.

Wtf. One of my best coworker friendships at work is a guy my age. Anytime anyone uses the term work wife or work husband we both cringe. You know you can have a friendship with that grossness applied. And they can help you get through toxic environments this way tol

Reading this gave me anxiety that it could be him. He wasn't disabled though. He sure pretended to be though! Told me he had been injured overseas... turns out he had never actually been deployed and had been injured in training. A mild injury that was enough to end up convincing them to medically discharge him. When I went back to get my stuff I had to call the police because he went psycho and tried to kill me. They told me he had spent time in jail for holding a knife to his ex's throat. I ha…

I really loved them like they were my own. It’s been 5 years and I still torture myself wondering what affect me just disappearing had on them. I stayed for 3 years longer than I wanted to because I knew I was the only stable, loving figure in their lives. The day I watched them crying in to their cereal when I was leaving for work and he was screaming at me and threatening to kill me I knew I wasn’t doing them a big favor by staying. They were three boys under the age of ten and I realized that…

Preface: I was an idiot, yes. I was in a 5 year relationship (no marriage) with a man who had 3 kids. He was discharged from the military due to an injury and received a pension that was.. adequate if you didn't have to support three kids. I worked full time while he kept promising he would go back to school (the military would pay the full expenses of re-education). But ultimately, he just used that promise to placate me while he sat at home all day smoking weed and playing video games. I ended…

It’s Kanye and Kim. They had an interview in their house and their couches are super white like this.

I responded because I’m willing to hear him out. We were in love and went though a heavy crisis exacerbated immensely by the distance. A perfect storm, but if we’re both willing to reestablish what was a healthy and thriving relationship initially then I’m all for it. There is no thriving relationship and there is no love when someone leaves you in the middle of a crisis for their ex. That is not how a loving partner reacts to a crisis with a loved one. Take it from someone in an LDR right now…
