Kinda embarrassing... but I had a strange smell for a year and got tested for stds, bv, etc... tried antibiotics, probiotics, no sugar, no alcohol, still smelled odd.

Funny thing is, he left about 6 months ago and about 1 or 2 months later, I realised I just didn’t smell anymore....

I swear, whatever it was, it was coming from him and after not being with him my flora settled down and did their work.

Also possible that it was caused by stress and once the cause of the stress was removed my body went back to normal. Lmfao.

This AITA is dumb to me. Like, yea he’s a douche (heh) for trying to knock her self esteem in the way he went about it (bringing up other female “friends” and their smell, which he should know NOTHING about), but...what if she really does smell bad? Like, people sometimes get desensitized to their own smells. I’ve heard stories from GYN friends...

She needs to dumb him because he’s trash that has no tact and also make sure everything down there is functioning and smelling within normal parameters. Otherwise, she needs a doctor, not some foolish summers eve (which he would’ve suggested if he was truly concerned and cared and had a modicum of sense).
