Honestly never met a man raised by his father. Plenty of men raised by single mothers. I recall one woman raised by her father because her mother died.

I've moved on from the 2 minutes I gave a shit about this...3.5 months ago. My own father was one of them. I work with a whole bunch of them. They're not desirable to women except for what's in their wallets. Believing anything else is delusional.

Probably

Because most men won't. It costs thousands to replace an entire wardrobe. Even if he did, at what point does that happen? Immediately? After a few months? After marriage?

I gave you my opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 07:43 PM

Why should she buy a whole new wardrobe just because she gets into a relationship? Are you going to foot the bill? If you don't like her dressing provactively, don't chase women who dress provocatively! This isn't hard to figure out pre-relationship.

American men seem to think that legalised prostitution will solve all of their problems. Countries where prostitution is legal still have 'cels. They still have angry, hateful men. They also still have plenty of men participating in relationships & marriage.

I don't hate them, but I refuse to be the only one who puts in the effort in a conversation. I used to be very shy, but I always used to try to put myself out there, be polite & exchange social graces. There are a lot of young men in my workplace and they put in zero effort into any of that. They just sit there in silence until someone asks them a question. Then it's short responses & no followup questions from them. I don't blame them for having no social skills. They've grown up chronically on…

I'm old and all the hot ones are taken/married. This was when I was younger. But even back then they had to make the right moves + right setting & mood. I never did app dating/hookups.

1) It's the lead up & the sex itself. The whole thing 2) I'm old, so it's hard to remember back that far, but I did have casual sex twice before I had my first relationship (which lasted 3 years).
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 04:47 AM

Having a different personality, different dialogue, techniques, scenarios etc. It can be exciting not to know what they're going to do or say next. People tend to get into a routine and do the same thing over and over. I like a bit of spontaneity & unpredictability, so long as it's within what I consider normal limits. No freaky shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 04:27 AM

For casual, novelty is everything. If there's not more to it than sex, I've typically gotten bored after 2 or 3 times. There's nothing like the rush of being with someone new. Body type is not a part of it for me. If I'm with someone I have a genuine connection with, I don't get bored.

I think it would depend on the degree of functioning. As you know, people with autism can be highly intelligent and high functioning. Intellectual impairment is always present in Down Syndrome.

Even the guys who have sex all the time end up in relationships in their 30s. I'm not saying they're necessarily faithful, but they do get married/attached. Society frowns upon men who stay single until their 40s.

They might be out there, but I don't think it's typical. I was part of a liberal social circle & even the most promiscuous woman I know wouldn't have been with more than 50 or so men total by her 30s & before she got married. She did spend some years in relationships, so even 6 per year in her single years would be a stretch.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 10:51 PM

They talk about Jordan Peterson, Andrew Taint, Elon Musk & Johnny Depp in a positive light. Dead giveaway. Lingo and angrily bringing up topics like male suicide & male homelessness are another big clue.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 10:27 PM

Ethics aside, it's disease risk. It wouldn't be unreasonable for prostitutes to have sex with a dozen or so men in a week. That would be extremely unlikely for your average promiscuous woman, who might manage that over a year or two or more. I know, I know, condoms. But they do break, and HPV & HSV can be transmitted even when they're used correctly.

Some men admire successful & accomplished women. I know it's hard for some of you to believe, but it's true.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 09:26 PM

If this is a realistic option for most men, then why aren't they doing it? Why are they shitting on fat women every chance they get?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 07:45 AM

Too bad. That's the marketplace. Don't like it? Don't participate. I'm not fat. I eat lots of vegetables and exercise daily.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 01:44 AM

I don't care what they do. I'm just stating the facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 01:40 AM

Men. By saying a fat woman is unacceptable for dating, they are immediately ruling out 70% of many western populations. Unless they're top 30% men, fat is the best they're going to do on average. Men with strict anti-fat policies only see the non-fat women & trick themselves into thinking the average of that pool is average overall. That brings the facially average looking healthy weight woman to top 15% of women. Add to that n-count & that's going to rule out at least some of those top 15% of w…

Oh well. Plenty of fish in the sea. At least she didn't "devalue" herself any more by having sex with him. Sounds like a win-win situation

Maybe she wanted one thing at one time and then wanted another thing later on, so changed up her tactics. It's not like she can change anything about the past. She probably wouldn't even want to if she could.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 07:33 AM

I don't think they do, but it's enough that women are wary & don't want to find themselves in that situation.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 04:52 AM

Because it works? I'm not sure why 3 months as opposed to 2 or 5 or 6. Maybe she read somewhere about a certain time frame and is trying it out?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 04:42 AM
3

She wants a relationship. Men say they don't want to commit to sluts. She's not sleeping with him because she wants him to commit to her because she likes him. The only thing she's done wrong here is tell him about her past. Men can't handle that kind of information. Ideally she wouldn't have to hold off, but she kind of has to if she wants a relationship.

Your argument is not relevant to mine then. It sounds like you, as a man, want conscription. That's a problem for men about men. Not women about men.

Not all countries have conscription. I live in one that doesn't.

The type of men who do this are generally not desirable, so it's not like we are mad about it because we want them. Personally, I just feel bad for these women. I mean, they can date/marry these men if they want. It's their choice. But most of them haven't had success in the west for good reason. For eg. Bad hygiene, horrible personality, overweight, abusive. The worst are the ones who were previously married to a woman in their own country, but ended up divorced & then they go on a passport bro…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 11:47 PM
16

Most women would prefer a relationship over a hookup. If men didn't rabidly spew hatred about sluts and how they don't respect women who are "easy" then women wouldn't need to do this. It would just be two people who are attracted to one another & like one another's company. They have sex when they both want to & a relationship develops. But men do the pump & dump thing. Most women don't want to experience that, especially if they see you as having relationship potential.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 11:34 PM

I don't think any women here have a problem with paying men (or women) to perform labor for them. That doesn't mean we want to marry/have sex/have children with them. That's the part men get angry about.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 08:50 AM

Maybe stop being a hypocrite by contributing to what you see as a problem? That would be a start.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 02:33 PM

The first part of what you said is not what the research says. The men who cheat the most have wives who earn more than them. The more she earns, the more likely he is to cheat. See the graph in the linked article
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 07:20 AM

The likelihood of men cheating on their wives goes up rapidly as soon as she starts making more money than him. source Interestingly, the likelihood of women cheating on their husbands is highest when husbands contribute 100% of household income, but not to the same degree as the reverse.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 06:46 AM

ok
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 05:13 AM
11

Don't accept it then? But it's not going to get your dick any wetter by bullying fat women, so why do it?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 04:16 AM
1

Never said they don't. I'm also not fat. But it's rare for people to be able to keep weight off due to satiety signalling that occurs after weight loss.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 04:03 AM
1

I already explained it in the other comment. A lot more goes into attraction than weight for women. Most women just don't like the extremes, but there's a lot more grey area. So a healthy weight man is not automatically at least a 5/10 like a healthy weight woman is (according to men). He could be a 3 if he's got an unfortunate face, has bad hygiene, bald, bad skin, bad posture, short, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 03:59 AM
0

Not true. Women don't care about weight as much as men do. Women don't mind a bit overweight if he's tall or rich or has a nice face. For men it's like the kiss of death for a woman to be fat. An average man thinks he has a chance with an average faced skinny woman, but she's actually top 25% and she doesn't want an average man because she has a lot better options.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 03:53 AM
9

I never said that. Not all causes have to be inclusive of everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 03:30 AM
16

They can if they want? I don't understand men who complain about women advocating for causes for women. They're not saying men can't do the same. Get together and do it if you think it's necessary. We don't care 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 03:25 AM
22

It's not to convince you that they're beautiful. It's to help them feel beautiful for themselves & not worthless. There can be a lot of shame in being fat & that feels horrible. Everyone has the right to feel good about themselves. You don't have to agree or even like it, but it's not about you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 03:15 AM
19

You make it sound like this is only a problem for women. Like men are not fat too. Bizarre
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 01:38 AM
1

80-95% of dieters who lose weight regain all of it is the most commonly quoted figure. Here are a couple of sources, but feel free to google it yourself. Here 90% We are talking about weight LOSS here. Not just being skinny in the first place. If you don't ever get fat, then you will be ok. But if you do, then you are likely to stay that way or keep getting back up there after you've lost it. So to say "you can lose weight," while true, is usually only going to be temporary.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 12:02 AM
4

The 70% is all adults. I specified 20-39 because that's the age group of most people here. People tend to get fatter as they get older. But in any case, the rest of what you said is correct. These low level men have already eliminated 50% of women. They think they are going for average women, but when you're talking about average looking slim women, they're the top 25%, and they're not interested in the bottom men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 11:48 PM
1

Correct. It's also no coincidence that these RP men are here ranting about being single. It's not exactly a tantalising proposition for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 10:15 PM
0

And that's fine, but unless they're in the top half of men, then they better be ok with being alone. There's nothing wrong with being alone. A lot of women have opted out due to lack of good options.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 08:33 PM
4

ok
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 09:37 AM
4

Doesn't sound like you're bottom 50% then.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 08:35 AM
14

Not necessarily. Are you in the bottom 50% of men? Height is not the only thing which determines that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 08:23 AM
8

Yes, but 95% of people can't keep weight loss off, so any changes are usually temporary. The hunger hormones fight like mad to get weight back to its highest point and beyond. Same for men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 08:15 AM
19

Doesn't matter. Still plenty of fat men. Fit & slim is better.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 08:14 AM

Men are getting fatter too. And balder.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 07:39 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 07:08 AM

Nearly half of women in the 20-39 age group in the USA are overweight or obese. Given that men here think being overweight is the most offensive thing a woman can be, unless you're in the top 50% of men, these women are your looksmatch. Read it and weep.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 06:28 AM

So some psycho drunk woman assaulted you (and you survived to tell the tale) and you think that somehow shows that "misandry" is as bad as deep institutionalised & systemic misogyny? Don't even get me started on cops. I won't defend them because I've had terrible experiences with them myself, but I will say that as a black man, I suspect your experience with them had a lot more to do with being black than being a man. Your white trash video doesn't prove anything. Women can be mean, but misogyny…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 09:31 PM

I'm sure it's a contributing factor for some people, but the largest age group for suicide in men is 75+. The rate goes up the older they get. Health & financial, and end of relationship factors are more common reasons.

NO, I DON'T.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 01:37 AM

If you're suggesting that because women are avoiding men & not having sex with them, that they are somehow responsible for male suicide, then absolutely not. In fact, that attempt at a guilt trip is straight from the misogyny department.

Racism has roots in horrific violence and subjugation. The N word isn't acceptable, nor is it all there is to racism. Instead of telling me what I can't identify, how about giving me some examples?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 01:17 AM

Other forms of bigotry (such as misogyny) involve rape, murder, coercive control, abuse, & systemic oppression. "Misandry" usually involves just avoiding men.

I also haven't seen anywhere near as much of this IRL, but it's not unheard of. I think that if this red pill business becomes mainstream, average men can kiss any chance of uninhibited sex goodbye all together. It will be missionary, in the dark, for procreation only. And only after 6 months of dating. I used to enjoy sexual freedom & actually thought it was mutually beneficial. The rise of all this slut hating has turned me off sex & men completely. I wouldn't even bother these days.

It's not in women's heads. Guys on here say it all the time. They'll fuck sluts, but won't have relationships with them. If he expects women to hold out for everyone except him & fuck him immediately, then he had better be the Chaddiest Chad who ever lived. Because otherwise he's living in a fantasy world. Pretend to be good means taking it slow, even if she hasn't always done it with every guy in the past. Maybe she had bad outcomes by sleeping with guys too soon? Maybe they pumped and dumped? …

But if she did have sex with him straight away, she'd be dumped. She has to pretend to be good so that he'll stick around. If he didn't dump her and froth at the mouth about sluts, he wouldn't have to do all of that dancing. It's his own fault.

It probably has to do with a lack of social skills. If a guy can't read body language & has to get explicit verbal permission to proceed, the he's probably not very smooth & that's a turn off. This doesn't negate what I said. These dudes think these women are their only option, but I would argue that they are not even an option. Sure they may match online, but if they even get a date, the single mothers are going to be able to feel the resentment and next them for someone half decent.

Why would they swipe 'yes' on them then?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 03:34 AM

Because most men here are low value, and they think the only opportunity they have to be with a woman is to date a single mother. This makes them extremely bitter. In reality, I've known a lot of single mothers with no issues finding decent partners, so these bitter men likely don't even stand a chance with most of them.

The 80/20 thing came from data from a dating site, which makes sense when all you have to go on is a few pictures and a blurb. In real life, people are much more likely to take other factors into consideration when deciding to date someone, not just appearance. If you give me 10 pictures of different men and ask me to pick the one I want to meet, of course I'm going to choose the best looking one. I have very little other context in which to choose. I'm single, and I'm much more content with this than I would have been if I had stayed with either of the aforementioned. I've noticed that high value men don't tend to go for much younger women. They are much more likely to pursue women their own age. So while the hypothetical amazing older guy sounds like a catch, it's unlikely he actually is in real life. At least in my vast experience with older men pursuing me.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 01:47 AM

Just my experience. I dated someone 18 years older after that & he's now fat & bald. A far cry from where he was back then. I'm so glad I snapped out of the older guy thing. I think aging with someone of a similar age is fine, but it's not fair on the younger person if there's an age gap.

7/21 of those are at replacement or lower. Another 3 are at 2.2. That's almost half at just above replacement or lower. Once women are educated, most don't want to tear out babies until their uteruses give out. Even strict islamic control isn't enough.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 02:53 AM

It wouldn’t even have to be financial equal. Just not a huge disparity like high income & SAHM. Having a job, any job, means she can support herself to some extent. Even a high income lawyer who marries a nurse or teacher is going to be vastly better off than if she’s a long term SAHM. I don’t really care about any of this, to be honest. I’m older and happily single. It’s just interesting to see the choices people make, where it leads them, and how they react when the the shit hits the fan.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 01:58 AM
3

It depends on your income & earning potential. If you are a lawyer or high income earner yourself, that might not be a problem. I'm not saying poor guys should attempt to marry rich women. But if you have a good job & some assets and want the tradwife setup, good luck to you! The longer a woman remains out of the workforce and the more kids you have, the higher your support payments will be.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 01:42 AM
14

That's only the case if they find a new partner who contributes financially and don't return to court to make new arrangements. The support payments generally drop significantly once she's living with a new partner. This likely depends on location though. I do think this is one of the problems with men who insist on the SAHM/low income woman setup. The closer you are in incomes, the less this becomes an issue. But the ego can't cope with that, I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 01:21 AM
18

Living expenses are not cut in half. It's a lot more affordable to live as a couple if both are contributing financially. Lots of household items are shared and most bills & insurances don't translate to double for 2 people. It's also harder to build wealth over time on a single income. Also, I said assets, not income. A woman is unlikely to get 75% of a man's income after divorce unless he agrees to it.

Far fewer women remarry than men.

I don't understand this argument. A woman is going to be financially better off staying married (unless they're poor & the husband is a gambler or drug addict). Even if she got 75% of all assets, she's still worse off financially post-divorce. There is usually some other compelling reason. Most of the woman-initiated divorces I've observed have been because the man cheated or was abusive. Those things tend to be deal-breakers for self-respecting women. An opportunity to get half the money she pr…

I dated plenty of toads in my 20s & early 30s. At some point I realised that it doesn't bring any benefit to my life. Remaining solo is just so much more peaceful. I'm financially secure and don't want kids, so why would I? A man would have to be top tier in every way for me to even consider getting involved with someone again. The likelihood of that happening is increasingly unlikely as time goes on. I'm ok with that.

Most might not prefer them, but plenty do. Enough that unless there are other issues, it's not a problem. I'm not tall, but there are a lot of tall women in my family. They are all with tall men who like that they're tall. None of them have ever had problems finding men.

No, I think it's the antidote to a toxic status quo I think it's practical. A lot of women with liberal feminist backgrounds end up there because they've been treated horrifically in the past. It gives them the tools to build self-esteem & self-worth The focus is on not allowing oneself to be treated like shit. Lots of men here seem to think it's about fat women demanding Chads. It's not. 50 years ago women didn’t have to remove hair from every part of their body. They didn’t have to be fit as well as slim. They didn’t have to buy new clothes every month to keep up with the latest trends. Things change & you can either meet the current standards or not. Your choice.

I don’t think average women feel entitled to top tier men. They would just rather be alone than be with someone who doesn’t do it for them. How can you argue with that? No one realistically expects men to drop their standards & date someone they’re not attracted to. Why do women have to? “Swaths of desirable men” are not struggling because women will happily date desirable men. You mean undesirable.

I don't know. Not really my department. All I'm saying is that most women in the 35+ category are not desperate for dick. We can get it any time we like. Some of us might struggle to find a suitable partner at this age, but dating someone who is barely in his 20s is hardly going to fill that void.

I’ve done it before and never will again. Your entire life revolves around their schedules & their mother. You will never be the priority in your partner’s life. I don’t want, or even particularly like kids anyway. There are much more suitable women out there than me for the role.

I dated plenty of guys in my league when I was in my 20s, and staying single is far superior. Why would anyone want to avoid this situation? This is far better than being with someone I’m not attracted to.

I accept that I’m probably too old and not attractive enough to find the type of man i would be willing to have a relationship with. That’s why I’m single. I’m not complaining about anyone else’s standards. It just pisses me off when men complain about women not going for their looksmatch. Why would they if being single is a better option?

No one is demanding anything. It’s opting out if there’s no one satisfactory to pair off with. I don’t think that’s unreasonable. No one should have to be with someone they don’t respect or are not attracted to. It’s better to stay single

Most men are garbage, which is why some women are opting out. There are not enough worthwhile men to go around. Most women will settle for less than ideal, but some won't. OP seems to be upset about that ones who won't.

To themselves? That’s the problem. I know a lot of ugly/fat guys who think they are attractive and they’re not. Many of them are repulsive. If they cover manners, fitness, hygiene and basic grooming, they will be miles ahead of most other men. Many fail to do any of this out of ignorance or laziness or both. As for some less than perfect women aiming for 9s & 10s, maybe they would rather be alone than with less than they consider ideal? I’ve been single for a long time by choice because being al…

I see women with hideous beasts all the time. I think most women have their standards set way too low. It seems this is more of a case of you being attracted to women with high standards, but obviously not being able to meet them. Either accept your fate or be more attractive. Most men put next to no effort into their appearance. Lots of out-of-shape fatties out there with ugly facial hair and bad haircuts. Maybe try showering once in a while and cutting your nails? I’d also like to see men take a more active role, but their options are limited too. I also could never fully trust a man to be responsible beyond wearing a condom. Most are too hopeless to even manage that.

There desperately needs to be more research into non-hormonal options for women. The side-effects for existing methods are unacceptable for many of us. I’ve never had an issue taking responsibility for my own body, but can’t tolerate anything hormonal, and condoms break not infrequently. I ended up just getting sterilised due to lack of anything suitable.

I see this all the time and it makes no sense. We are more or less the opposite of incels. There’s an abundance of dick out there, but we don’t want just any crusty old dick. Probably because so many fathers want to fuck their daughters. Seen a porn site lately? They disappear because it makes them uncomfortable to be around them. “Daddy issues” are entirely the father’s fault. Shaming women for what their adult fathers have or haven’t done makes no sense.

Agreed. You rarely see rich women choosing to be surrogates, unless it’s for someone in their own family. I’m not necessarily against it in those cases. I’m more against transactional surrogacy, because it primarily exploits poor women, and because it’s risky & traumatic to the body.

I’ve done this. Not because I think dinner = sex, but because I believe a lot of men do, and I don’t want to put myself in a situation where I’m vulnerable to verbal or physical abuse for saying no. Let’s face it, on the first few dates you don’t know if he’s a genuinely nice guy or a psycho. That said, I’m not actively dating, and generally think the man should pay. Most of the men I’ve been with have seemed to have a lot fewer than me, and I have to admit I like that. There are quite a few of these cases around the world. Scrotes “spreading their seed” without the responsibility of being a father. And even getting paid a lot of money for it. Psychopaths. Kind of like the boys who hit puberty and then within 10 years they're bald, have hairy backs, and big guts. Not to mention the ED, wrinkly foreheads, and man boobs. Give me a break.

I just get a massage when I'm feeling like that. I get the touch, but without having to go near a scrote. It's also good for you, as opposed to fucking a scrote, which can only be bad for you.

Seems like they say this to try to draw empathy, but gay men & native men have higher rates of suicide than white men, and most white men don't give a shit about that.

I think it's jealousy, especially from unfit men. Most fit men like women with muscles (natural). They don't feel threatened. A scrote who has never lifted anything heavier than his xbox controller does feel threatened, because it reminds him of his failing masculinity.

You mean the fact that worldwide & throughout history, women have categorically been to various extents unable to independently purchase property, get a loan, get a credit card, vote, run for public office, serve on a jury, work in their chosen career, drive a car, take control of their fertility, divorce, have recourse for rape & domestic violence, experience sexual pleasure (FGM), wear what they want? All of this, plus the stigma of being a slut, a cat lady, childfree, too masculine, unattract…

I wonder how many of those “one time” rapists are actually serial rapists but the victims haven’t come forward? Given the way that county has handled the cases of those who have, I can see why women wouldn’t even bother. How incredibly cruel to take all that evidence and not even test it! Imagine how it must feel for them to finally convict your rapist 20 years later! In the meantime, the rapist was out raping other women. Multiple womens’ lives ruined because of a lousy system. Astonishing

A lot of these scrotes don’t even think rape exists (unless someone is raping their ass). They think they’re entitled to sex, and them getting busted for it is automatically a false accusation.

I still don’t understand how this page is “toxic” and “should be banned.” It seems seriously benign compared to all the porn and violence and hatred towards women. Is it because men are not used to being called out for their shit? The world is full of men patting other men on the back and pickmes joining in. It’s about time they had a good honest look at themselves.

I don't think there's a solution to this that doesn't involve opting out of having kids. Most men will just not come to the party on this matter. I think if your man doesn't do housework (properly) and on his own accord, doesn't look after you when you're sick, doesn't look after your pets like they were children, don't do it! It will never even be close to 50/50.

Welcome to the club. I think many would say we have trust and relationship insecurity issues like there’s something wrong with us. Given what’s out there men-wise, I think it’s a completely normal and rational response. We are conditioned to think most men are good & there are a few bad eggs out there. I think the reality is that it’s the other way around. There’s an alarming mismatch in the number of women who would make good partners VS men who would make good partners. There are nowhere near …

True. It is only one factor adding to the resentment. I'm sure it would be like "whack-a-mole" and another would pop up, because it's more about laziness & a lack of respect than the state of cleanliness.

I wonder if getting a cleaner in once a week could be the way to go for couples in this situation? I suggested this to exes and they hated the idea because "we (I) can just do." I have no plans to live with a man in the future, but if I did, a cleaner would be an essential part of the agreement. Or does this situation just expose other issues within the relationships?

This was me in my 20s. I “dated” men up to twice my age, and they weren’t even rich or good looking or nice. They were ogres who treated me horribly, and I allowed it. Likening it to self-harm makes perfect sense to me. That’s exactly what it was. I have a significant trauma history, and I never cut myself, but this form of self-harm was arguably more destructive. I’m glad I’ve chosen to remain single in recent years. It seems to be the only way for me to not end up in something abusive.

I did this last year after discovering Pinkpillism. I had a lot of healing to do, and I think that was accomplished to a significant degree. It was a year for me to re-evaluate & reassess my life & where I want it to go. I broke the stretch of celibacy on NYE. It was extremely disappointing. I can’t think of men the same way anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if I go another year or more without any sex. Libido is there, but interest in men isn’t.

This reminds me of the European cities with "pop-up out of the ground" urinals for men. This is to stop men from urinating in the street like animals. For some reason this is catered to. But women are stuck having to find a toilet the conventional way, and often having to pay for it.

I've never understood why some men are so precious about their intact vas deferens, but they expect women to go through childbirth (which is far more traumatic and dangerous). Not necessarily. Some don't until the opportunity presents itself. People get hired/not hired because of their looks all the time. Usually it works in one's favor to be attractive, but not always. The husband fucking the nanny is the most cliche thing ever. It even happened to Jennifer Garner, Sienna Miller, Uma Thurman, and Gwen Stefani, among many others. And those women are all hot! These men can't help themselves around an attractive woman who is dependent on and subordinate to them, and also lives with them. This is just the nature of men. Agreed. I've had a lot of therapy and it has helped tremendously with identifying patterns and changing behaviors, but the memories remain and they're never going away. They can only be processed. It's been 4 years since my last relationship. I seem to attract tons of LVM, but I've held off dating any of them because it can only be detrimental. I don't care if they're going for women in their late 30s, but it skeeves me out when 40+ men are trying to have kids with early 20s women. Mostly because I was one of their targets in my early 20s. That was the same age & age gap as one of my exes. He was reasonably okay looking at 37, but now he's 47 and he looks horrendous. He now has a girlfriend even younger than me, so a 20 year age gap. I don't know how she wakes up next to him every morning. He's also extremely immature, so I suspect she will outgrow him in time, like I did. Another ex was 44 when I was 26. I listed a whole lot of sick things men have done to me over my life. It was difficult to write, but I felt it was revelent enough to make the effort. Because this is where slut shaming comes from. Ultimately, it's jealousy. I have to hand it to the OP for being honest about it. Most won't even admit it, but that's exactly where it comes from. It's still pathetic, and I wouldn't want to be with someone who thought that way. Nor would I advise any woman to stay with a man who felt this way. Better they stay away from one another.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 05:26 AM

Definitely break up with her. If you have such pathetic insecurities, she can do better.

Don't get into a relationship then. Seems fairly straight forward.

I never said there was, but modern western young people are for the most part extremely healthy (no lasting parasites, minimal disease due to vaccines, sanitation, antibiotics), yet there is no shortage of ugly people. Are you trying to suggest that ugly people around me are crawling with worms, ticks, giardia, etc? Because they're not. They're just not attractive. Herpes may be common, but what has that got to do with attractiveness? Like I said, lots of attractive people are walking around wit…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 04:34 AM
3

So how do you explain societies with no parasite problems and vast differences between hot people and uggos?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 04:15 AM
1

Herpes doesn't affect the appearance of a fetus as far as I know? Also countries with excellent universal neo-natal care still have uggos. I understand it's genetics, but the health excuse seems a bit far-fetched when you look at modern wealthy societies.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 03:04 AM
4

Aside from fashion, pock marks and bad teeth, i don't see a huge difference. Even then, I'm comparing attractive vs unattractive in modern western countries where parasites and disease are not really a huge issue for most young people.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 02:29 AM
1

Herpes? Aside from the occasional breakout, that doesn't change your level of physical attraction? Plenty of very attractive people have it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 02:20 AM
2

I never got the whole "parasitic load" thing. Most young people in western countries are not full of disease or parasites, yet there are vast differences in attractiveness.

If you're chasing women 20 years younger than you, you are a loser & a scuzzball. No one thinks you're cool.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/19 06:57 PM

Late 30s often does. Most men go downhill rapidly physically once they get into their 30s. If they keep in shape (most don't) and are lucky to keep their hair, they are in a minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/19 02:06 PM

More likely to have their own place with no roommates. Most women prefer men close to their own age. Just because you are attracted to 20 year olds at 38, doesn't mean the vast majority of them are attracted to you.

No one wants your limp dick, saggy nuts, bald chrome dome, hairy back, or fat gut. You men are kidding yourselves if you think young women are attracted to you for your appearance. They might fuck you because you have money, but I guarantee they are faking it. If you don't care, that's even sadder.

I know a lot of middle-aged men with young Asian second wives. I actually feel sorry for the women who end up with these men. Most of the men are highly physically undesirable to western women (old, fat, bald, bad teeth), and the search for a "traditional woman" usually means misogynist. So no, I am not in any way threatened. They can have them! (But I would advise against it)

Plenty of men visit prostitutes and they still spew hatred for women everywhere they go. The missing key for their ego is no one thinks they're desirable. Sex robots aren't going to change that either.

A lot of truth has been revealed since frequenting this place, but not in a good way. I've gone from generally liking men, being attracted to them, and believing there were decent ones, to being disillusioned and utterly disgusted. Now I see misogyny everywhere. It's turned me into a radical feminist separatist. I don't think I could have sex with a man again. I don't think I would piss on one if he were on fire.

When you go to someone's place it's usually a good indication of their hygeine & cleanliness standards (unless they hire a cleaner, which would have been fine). His place wasn't terrible. I already said it looked like he cleaned it occasionally. This was acceptable to me. It never even occured to me the possibility that his mother was cleaning for him. He was 37 years old FFS! She stopped doing it when I moved in with the expectation that I would do all of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/19 11:44 AM
8

His mother wanted him to marry a woman who would cook and clean for him. It's "women's work." He wasn't even allowed in the kitchen as a child. She never showed him how to do anything. I guess when he never found someone (likely because he's useless), his mother felt guilty and recruited his sisters to do that for him. I have a younger brother and I wouldn't do that out of principle, even if he was living in squalor.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/19 11:39 AM
3

Sounds like something he would have said. I would argue that part of living with someone is sharing household duties & keeping things to a reasonable standard, unless otherwise agreed upon.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/19 11:32 AM
14

He was like that from the moment we moved in together. His place prior to that was a bit dirty, but not filthy. It looked like he cleaned it occasionally. It turns out his sisters and mother used to come over and clean for him. I didn't know that until well into the relationship. It would have been a deal breaker from day one had I known.

There were other things, but that was the main one. I worked longer hours than him and he expected me to be a maid as well. When I asked him to help me he said he didn't know how. I offered to show him and he refused to be taught. This guy was 37 years old. An utter manchild. Pathetic.

The birth rate in the state the OP is from is extremely low (1.6). The only thing keeping it above one is immigrants having 4-5 kids. I'm in a neighbouring state, and i know many women who don't have & don't want kids. None of them are scrambling to find a low tier man to knock them up, myself included. I'd rather be single for life and never have sex again than settle for what's out there. I had 3 long term relationships in my 20s (3 years each) and all of them were extremely unsatisfying. Ther…

No kids & no husband is not a life misery for me. That's the ideal. Full freedom and no one to tie me down or let me down. My friends who married young are the most miserable women I know. There's no fun or romance in their lives. The ones who waited until their 30s are happier & found great guys & are just settling down now. I'm not sure what's around the corner for them.

That's the impression I got. I told him I'd make it clear how I felt. I might even be a little spectrumy myself, so not necessarily a deal breaker. Of course it would depend on the positioning on the spectrum. I was drawn to him because he didn't have douchey outfits, stupid poses, mirror photos or comments like "no time wasters." Why would you even ask me then if BMI is bullshit? And how could you tell that I'm too heavy from the numbers alone if that were the case? I don't need to lose weight. I've never expected any money from anyone I've dated. I've always paid for my own meals, movies, drinks, coffees etc. If a guy insists, I pay next time. It is nice to be able to not feel trapped in a horrible relationship because I couldn't afford to leave. Who wouldn't want to be in that position?

Drinking before 21 is psychologically damaging? In most of the developed world the legal drinking age is 18, and the age of consent is around 16. Why does America need more virgin women? That's for them to decide for themselves, not for you to demand and enforce because you think "it's best for them." They're not your property.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/19 04:39 AM

They absolutely do. One of my exes was 18 years older. But it's not common. I don't know any other women who have been with someone that much older. Even 10 years older is pretty rare.

I've never cheated on anyone and I have no intention of ever doing so. Why would I?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/19 03:44 AM

I don't want him to have options because I don't want him to cheat on me. But I don't want too low on the attractiveness scale because they get jealous. One of my exes was a 2-3/10 and he couldn't handle that. Same range attractiveness is ideal with him a little lower maybe. I would do all of that if I could find one willing to have a relationship

I'd rather the beta guy. I don't want to have to be paranoid that he might leave me for one of my female friends. I also wouldn't enjoy other women flirting with him. I want to be the best a guy can get. Awkward is fine, as long as he's not completely socially inept.

Red pillers put guys into 2 categories- alpha & beta (and incel/mgtows, but they are out of the dating equation) . The alphas pump and dump. The betas make up for deficiencies by spending money on women, allegedly. My point is I don't want a hot, domineering chad. I'd just like an average looking guy who isn't a dickhead, has more liberal values. He doesn't have to spend money on me though.

It's only the single most important event that led to all the other rights women obtained last century. Those things didn't just happen on their own. But no big deal guys!
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/19 10:14 AM
3

Ok, so we take away your vote then? There are major problems within the US voting system, I can't argue with that, but a lot of positive change for women has happened because women have been allowed to vote. Historically, most men didn't give a shit about women's rights. Some of the leftovers of that are PPDers.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/19 09:57 AM

Not really. Just calling it how I see it. Most of my problems are mental, not physical.

Lots of countries have/have had forced conscription for women, but I'm against the idea for anyone, regardless of gender, so I can't really argue for that point. Doesn't change the fact that you think that not having a vote is no big deal. It is for a lot of people and has been extremely important historically (think slavery).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/19 09:44 AM

How about we just take away your demographic's right to vote then? Since it doesn't really mean anything anyway.

Not having right to: vote, own property in their name, have their own bank account in a marriage, work in many jobs (law, for example), have equal right to pay, not be sexually harassed at work, serve on a jury, have access to contraception if single, terminate a pregnancy, report marital rape or abuse, divorce... And that was only what's changed in the past 100 years or so. Things were even more grim before that.

My father was a very unstable, abusive alcoholic. I've always loathed the idea of ending with someone like him. I shoot for the opposite. However, one of my exes displayed some abusive traits like my father had towards the end of our relationship. That was it for me. Hopefully never again.

I've found the young mothers are the ones who tend to get fat and stay fat. It's the older ones who are more conscious of letting themselves go. I guess there's probably socioeconomic reasons for that. Poorer women tend to have kids younger and also tend to be fatter. A wealthy women who has kids early might be better off, but it's not common for them to do that. Even still, young mothers usually still look rougher facially than women who have had no kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/19 05:44 AM
2

I know it's vain, but if I had a husband and knew he thought about me the way some men feel about their wives after they have kids, I would be devastated. I'm not personally into plastic surgery, but if I had a thickened waist and "orange-in-a-sock" boobs, I would probably consider it. I guess a lot of them would rather spend that money on their kids, understandably.

There are always going to be a few lucky ones who escape it, but by and large, having kids ages women much faster than not having them. It could also be bias on your part. You might just be attracted to her regardless of the wall. Others might not feel the same way about her.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/19 04:21 AM

I look at my friends who have had kids recently. They have gone from pretty and soft facially to sort of haggard, if that makes sense? Most have lost the weight and have worked hard to get in good shape, but still don't look as good as they did. Then there are obviously some that give up. They never lose the weight, or continue to gain because their whole life is spent preparing meals and eating meals. They are stressed, they have their family, they don't feel the need to focus on their bodies a…

I've found that having kids ravages the appearance of most women- facially and body-wise. The CF women I know in their 40s all look much better than the ones with kids. I guess they have a lot more time for self-care and relaxation.

If he didn't, she would have made it clear. She even admitted to liking it. You can (if you're not autistic) tell when some likes you and what you are doing. He picked up on that through subtle and maybe not so subtle cues. Two hours is ample time to do so. How do you think one night stands happen?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/19 08:46 AM

I consider myself to be a moderate feminist, and I don't think he did anything particularly wrong. Hand on the butt might be a grey area, but after 2 hours, presumably getting along well and her showing interest, I don't think so. I wouldn't even call that male entitlement. He was just reading the cues. The sunglasses thing, definitely not. I've done that before myself. It means nothing. Sometimes you just want to see someone's eyes and sunglasses prevent that.

My guess is he was really good at reading her body language and knew she would be ok with it. I wouldn't expect a guy to ask to touch my shoulder if we were getting along well. I know that touch is one way of showing attraction. It would be different if she had her arms & legs crossed and was turned away from him without looking engaged. That would be encroaching on boundaries. I don't think this is toxic masculinity at all. This is just normal, healthy masculinity. Toxic masculinity would be de…

It actually amazes me that any guy would think the woman he's fucking casually is exclusive to him. Like she's sitting around lonely waiting for him to call and is only into him. I'm sure it happens, but it should not be assumed or even expected. If you want sexual exclusivity, get a girlfriend. Children, make sure you wear condoms.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/19 01:15 AM

WTF? I don't ever want to "produce" children and I've always enjoyed casual sex because it's fun and feels good. You are so far out of touch with reality its laughable.

I've had plenty of FWBs I wouldn't want a relationship with for various reasons. Some were immature, some not very bright, others were just shitty people. If you think all women get attached and want you to commit just because they've had your weiner in them, you're sorely mistaken.

I was with an 18 year old when I was 16 for 3 years. He had job, but that's the only thing in that list. Not that I benefited from that in any way whatsoever. I would have happily dated another 16 year old if any were interested in me, but they weren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/19 08:59 AM

Only if he's immature. There are plenty out there. But you're right, there are 30/31 year olds, even younger, who are more together than men much older. Having said that, apparently they all want 25 year olds, so it's not like my opinion matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/19 08:48 AM

I would happily date a guy a few years younger if he had his shit together (employed, not living at home, had mature tastes for his age). They are definitely hotter if in good shape, but I don't want to feel like I'm hanging out with my little brother.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/19 04:51 AM

Red pillers seem to think that it's ok for men to decline in attractiveness because they can make up for it with wealth & status. Only problem is not many men actually manage to obtain this wealth & status. Only a few do. Plenty of old, broke nobodies out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/19 09:03 AM

Height is a significant contributing factor to male attractiveness, but nowhere near 99%. Lanky string beans and Lurch types are not attractive to most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/19 06:23 AM
14

That's what narcissists do to emotionally vulnerable women. Stable women don't tend to go for guys like that. If you're finding that they are, maybe you need to look for a different type of woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/19 06:19 AM

I think the hottest men at 20 usually look great at 40, even 45. But that's only about 10% of men. The rest lose their hair, get a gut, go grey, get wrinkles or some combination of those. Most men end up on a fast decline after 35, just like women do. The difference is women aren't as shallow on average. They will still find a man attractive if he's a good person, confident, and employed.

I've met plenty of men I would date, but they only want sex, not a relationship. It's always "I'm not ready to get involved with someone at this time," but then he has a girlfriend 3 weeks later, "it's me, not you," "i'm only looking for physical, not emotional." None of them were perfect by any means. I put up a profile recently and I'm getting messages, but I haven't met anyone in person yet.

Conservative values are not worthwhile to me. I think we just have to agree to disagree. I would be miserable with a conservative dude. There would be no long term about it. Still doesn't excuse the fact that stringing someone along is prickish & doesn't really indicate good values to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 04:46 PM

Hardly a worthwhile man if he does that. Sounds like a prickish thing to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 04:24 PM

I could walk into any bar in my city right now and find some guy, probably even decent looking, who would have sex with me. That's not what femcels are after. What we want is a relationship, but no one wants one with us. Any Incel could get laid if they went for a looksmatch, but they think they are owed more than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 04:22 PM
4

Point still stands. Incels want Stacy. Femcels just want a kind, warm body to come home to that isn't going to beat them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 03:30 PM
2

And if I don't find someone, so be it. I've spent enough time alone that it's nothing new to me & not something I can't handle. Just something I'd like at some point. That said, I know a lot of women who have partied harder than me (still do) and are a lot less feminine in manner than me. They are in relationships or married.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 03:00 PM
3

They are forever complaining about landwhales, high n-counts, the wall, only wanting hot, young virgins. Femcels don't complain about any of that. Most just want a non-abusive guy for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 02:20 PM
1

I don't think it's true that women are "wired" for monogamy. I think they have been socialized to make people think they are. Women are a lot more discreet when they cheat, and for good reason. Domestic violence is a scary thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 02:16 PM
5

I think that says a lot more about your hangups than it does about my femininity and "essence." I'm clearly a lot older than you. I've had a number of LTRs. I've had a number of STRs. It scares me to think how my life would have turned out if I'd stayed with my first boyfriend who I met when I was 16. I do feel like I've lived a full life and I don't regret anything. I wouldn't mesh well with a guy who felt the way you did anyhow. I value freedom, openness and experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 11:15 AM
3

Maybe. No one knows for sure. Perhaps humans were not meant to be with the one person their whole lives? I've seen enough married guys cheat that I'm certain of it. Women are probably no different.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 09:50 AM
2

Not necessarily. I'm over the CC. Had a great time, but ready to find someone for something long term.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 09:38 AM
4

This can be a problem, especially if they got married young and one or both of them haven't had a chance to live up their youth. I can easily see why women would cheat with someone more exciting when they get older given that scenario. That's why I think it's ideal to get it out of your system when you're young and settle down later. The guys here don't like that though.

And I would put 6 in the close to average category. I think my body fat is about 32%. I'm 5'5 & 135 lbs. But nobody seems to care about that anyway (for a relationship). I do get plenty of offers for sex. Lots of obese women with boyfriends around though.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/19 04:40 AM

I relate to what she's written, but my standards aren't as high. I would take someone with kids, as long as he doesn't want any more. Other than that, here I am, ready to go, but no one wants a relationship with an average looking woman looking for a partnership. They want Stacy, psychos, gold diggers & women with baby rabies. They seem to even be content with obese, unemployed, overly dominant & drug fucked women. I think being a femcel is even worse than being a male Incel. At least we can all…

I don't wear fake nails, fake tan, dye my hair or have any cosmetic surgery. The only thing I've done is get braces, but that was also to prevent future tooth problems. Most people where I live have something fake on them. I think it's a shame fake bodies are favoured over natural.

Plenty of women value casual sex. That's why they have it. Just because you don't, doesnt mean everyone doesn't. I think you'll also find that charging men for sex is going to be far more detrimental to your "value" than upping your n-count.

Surely this can't be written by a woman? If not, you do realise some women get immense pleasure from sex? Sometimes even doubly so with a hot random. I would absolutely not bother if I didn't. As for getting bills paid, I would think prostitution takes it to a new level from having sex for pleasure

Younger ladies aren't necessarily going to be interested in you. Most younger women aren't into guys 10+ years older, and suppose they are, they are not necessarily going to have low n-counts. Some women rack up huge numbers in their early 20s. Others in their 30s have been with very few.

Studies show that men are much more likely to cheat on women who earn more than them. I earn more than average, and I'm not looking for Mr. Moneybags, so it's a genuine concern. I have had men go cold on me once they find out what I earn. It's interesting because they don't want to be divorce raped, but they still want to earn more than their partners. I've found the opposite more often than not. Lots of women with feminists beliefs who reject the label because men don't like it or something. Either way, it's good we cleared that up.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/18 01:25 AM

I would consider that just your average woman, not feminist. A feminist, by definition, supports equality.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/18 01:17 AM

Because she's a feminist. If she doesn't, she's a very diluted form, or she's settling big time.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/18 12:58 AM

And it's probably not going to work if she starts demanding equality in the relationship. At least one of them is going to tire of all of that very quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/18 12:52 AM

Well are they going to be attracted to a sexually liberated feminist for a LTR? I'm guessing not given how much they go on and on about n-counts and youth and fertility. So does it even matter if those women are attracted to them?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/18 12:38 AM

Whether he's a closet sexist or not is irrelevant when I want a ONS. Obviously if he's openly sexist, no deal, but like the other dude said, they're not going to be openly so.

I was responding to the part where you asked "since when does TRP advocate LTRs?" Again, if you're talking about a ONS, whether he's a pig or not on the inside is largely irrelevant. For a LTR, It's highly relevant and very unattractive.

Very few men are physically attractive by the time they reach 50. There seems to be this delusion among men that they keep getting more attractive, while women become less so. Let me me frank here: Gray hair, balding, guts, hairy backs and droopy balls are not sexually attractive. If you have these things and you are pulling attractive young women, they either want your money or they have crippling low self-esteem (I know this because I used to be one of them). I don't really care about getting married, but I don't want kids. I think what you'll find is women don't want to end up destitute after giving up their careers/earning capacity & appearance to have a man's kids (which they presumably both want). It's an insurance policy. If a man doesn't want that, then sorry, no kids for him (in most cases). The ceremony just legitimizes the partnership in the eyes of families & the rest of society. I'd ideally like a boyfriend. I went on tinder for a week. Plenty of matches with men, but I honestly didn't feel like I was good enough for anyone on there. I haven't even gotten to the point where anyone has even asked. Literally no one is interested in a relationship.

I don't really think I've made any mistakes. Nothing to forgive myself for. I just understand that it's an issue for most guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/18 10:09 AM

Well that's a relief. I figured it was too many for most guys, especially with the way they talk on this sub. It doesn't bother me personally. Just laying it all out there in the open.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/18 10:08 AM

Not at all. I make decent money, so I would actually expect it. Could be my personality. Not sure what part of it though.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/18 10:07 AM

Absolutely. I won't support someone, but as long as they are employed and can split bills, I don't care how much he makes.

Why not?

What do you want to know? I don't know what else to say. Older male friends are coworkers.

I'm ok with that. I just thought this might be a place to get non-stock answer responses that actually may allow me to assess the situation differently.

I live in a large city in a western country (don't want to get specific). Similar dating culture to the US. The reasons I get are usually, "I'm not looking for a relationship at the moment," "it's me, not you," and other cliches. I definitely do not cling or act desperate. I'm actually more detached than anything else.

I am willing to date men with teenage + children. In fact, after a childfree man, that would be my preference.

I would go for someone younger, but get no attention from younger guys, other than for sex (same as older). I have two single male friends, but neither of them do relationships. Both are older (12 & 20 years older) and have been single for 10 years + each. My last ex was 18 years older, same height as me, had ex wife & kid baggage, not particularly attractive. I broke up with him because he was extremely controlling and jealous. He thought I was going to leave him for a better looking guy and co…

I do want a relationship. Nothing high stress or high pressure, but like I said, just some companionship. Some one to do fun stuff with. I also like sex a lot and want to have it regularly with someone. I'm asking here because I know if I ask on the relationship advice board I'll get advice like "don't worry, you just have to meet the right person."
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/18 04:17 AM
3

On the flip side, dating a guy much less attractive tends to bring out jealousy and possessiveness in him. This can be scary and downright dangerous.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/18 12:26 AM

I don't look at men in terms of whether they are better or worse than me, but there are certain traits I won't compromise on. I'd rather remain single than date someone who's abusive, an asshole, or a misogynist (red pillers & incels need not apply). Income and excessively good looks don't really matter to me. If that makes my standards too high, so be it. I'm the one who has to put up with him.

I don't think any of the ones I've spoken to were in dead bedrooms or disrespected. They were just bored from the same old routine all these years.

I don't know any real life cases of this actually happening. Doesn't mean it doesn't, but I don't think it's as widespread as you seem to think. On the other hand, I regularly get hit on by "provider" married men, from all walks of life. Some are happy in their marriages, some are not. The only constant seems to be that they desire variety. So I don't really feel sorry for these "providers." If she's cheating, so is he. Maybe that's just what people do?

Hey, I love to do nothing but lie around sometimes. Just not all the time. Shared activities/outings keep the relationship interesting. He was happy to go along with whatever, but I just wanted him to contribute at least some of the time.

I've been in a relationship like this. Not because I wanted it, but because he was just so passive and someone had to take the lead, otherwise we would just sit around and do nothing. He didn't have opinions or a strong desire to do much of anything. He was always happy just to do what I wanted to do. He couldn't cook or clean though. Literally did not know how to. I much prefer dating an equal. I have no desire to dominate or be dominated. Let's just both contribute and share the load? I'm much…

Only if the black man comes across as creepy. Not just because he's black. Most black men are fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 01:20 AM

That's fine. Continue as you wish, but you don't get to dictate how you make me feel. My reaction to you is based on instinct and experience. It's not irrational.

I can think of quite a few cases where men were awarded custody because they were more suitable to raise the kids. The mothers had mental or drug/alcohol problems. It's given to whoever is best to look after them, and quite often men don't even fight for custody. They just assume the kids will go to the mother. If a woman has been a stay at home mother or works part-time, more often than not it's given to her because she is the primary care giver, and always has been.

Some see it as a failure to make good decisions. Personally, I think bashing single parents is horrible all together. People who do it are far worse than the people who had kids & their relationships didn't work out. On the other hand, I've been with single dads before and it's not for me. They generally make great boyfriends, but I'm not a kid person and don't want to spend my time doing kid things.

I have been with a guy like that. Well, not rich, but financially secure. He was incredible...but he had children (divorced). That has since become a deal breaker for me. The likelihood of me finding all of that in a guy with no children or ex wife, is very slim at my age (32), and I'm ok with that. I'm at a point where I'm perfectly content being single. If i do happen to come across someone I'm compatible with, I wouldn't refuse the opportunity, but that's becoming less and less likely as I ge…

I'm female, but you can call it "settling" if you want. I would ideally like a tall, sexy, rich guy who is devoted to me and only me, but I'm a realist and know that's probably not going to happen. Apparently taking anything less than that is settling because that's the standard I want. It shouldn't be seen as a bad thing to loosen the expectations. It's just being realistic. More concerning would be if I was waiting for the guy I mentioned above til the day I die. Yeah sure, it wouldn't be sett…

That is definitely racist, but most people don't do that, unless the black person is "creepy." One is a race (not inherently threatening) and one is something that triggers fear for safety.

My safety is more important than whether or not you think it's sexist. Gut feelings are powerful and should be trusted, even if wrong.

So? It can be fun to fuck pretty boys when you're young. They're hot and they know how to fuck. But no one really wants a relationship with one. A relationship has a lot more value than one night with chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/18 07:09 PM

And that's fine. They can be with whomever they want. People usually find the type of person they want to be with. The rest get realistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/18 07:04 PM

Lots of guys want commitment too. Some of them find it fulfilling. This is why you find attractive guys in relationships more often than not. The Chads you describe who don't do commitment are actually quite rare and not the type most women would actually want a relationship with.

I recently posted in the infidelity sub a question about whether the cheaters there were promiscuous pre-marriage. The vast majority said they were not, but are now after many years married. While not scientific, I think this is interesting given how many people here think higher n-count= will cheat. I think it stems more from fear of being less experienced than the women they're with. An insecure man's ego is deeply threatened by a more experienced woman because he fears he won't measure up to …

My ex was extremely timid. Much more so than me. It was not attractive to me at all, but it wasn't disgusting, just frustrating. I would prefer a partner to be as assertive or more assertive than me because it's a useful and attractive trait. Being timid has absolutely no benefit.

It's not about feeding people. It's about the impact on the environment and human health- carbon emissions, deforestation, overfishing, pollution. Take China for example. Not the kind of place I think anywhere should aspire to be like. Quality of life is severely diminished with population increase

And so what if we do want to spend our weekends sipping wine and going to art galleries? We're not on this earth forever. We might as well do what we enjoy doing. The fact that we have a choice is fantastic. Personally, I don't want to spend my days changing diapers & cleaning up after kids. If that makes me a brat, I'm ok with that. Not everyone wants to sacrifice quality of life to contribute to an already overpopulated planet.

You said men and women are not equal. Then you said you could "beat the fuck out of 99.9% of women" (charming). One would think those two statements were linked by the way you structured the paragraph. The first being the reason for the second. No? If men and women are not equal, why? I agree that subjective value might be determined by different factors, but that doesn't mean they are not equal overall.

You have absolutely no understanding of female anatomy if you think it in any way makes her vagina bigger to have had 20 cocks in it. A mother's vagina has had an entire baby come out of it and no one gives them shit for being "loose" downstairs.

Maybe, but it's not toxic. Most would argue that it's positive masculinity.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 12:15 AM

I think it would be a lot more toxic if he didn't care about her pleasure at all. An extreme example would be female genital mutilation to substantially reduce her pleasure. It might be somewhat self-serving, but I think a woman aiming to give a man an orgasm is equally as much an ego boost. I don't think any woman, feminist or otherwise is going to complain if a guy gives her an orgasm.

From my observation, men don't care about sluttiness if a woman is highly attractive. The more attractive, the less her past seems to matter. That is on average. I get that some conservative extremists have different views, and that's ok. There's something out there for everyone. I think what's really undesirable is the way men like the OP treat women. That kind of mindset is sure to turn off anyone. I hope you are open and honest to women about your views on this. Or do you hide them to come ac…

Not sure. I've been single for 3 years. I have a vibrator and a dog. I do have casual sex for fun, but I have no interest in getting seriously involved with someone who is more likely to cheat on me than not.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/18 12:57 AM

It has been my observation that men will cheat regardless of the circumstances- hot wife, ugly wife, balanced. It also doesn't matter if he's alpha, beta or whatever. All of that goes out the window when it's put in front of them. It's just what they do. I honestly believe that a man is only as faithful as his opportunities. Nothing can prevent it, other than an open relationship.

That's only if she earns less than him. The point I was trying to make is it makes no sense to push for the housewife type, but many still do. And many men still want to marry because they want kids. This is the sacrifice they make if they want that and want a housewife.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/18 04:41 AM

Well then they are not understanding their responsibility. Part of a single income arrangement is supporting the non-working partner. This includes once it's over. The no-fault divorce makes no difference.

That's what it appears to come down to, but I know so many SAHMs who have divorced their husbands for various reasons. Then the husbands get salty because they have to part with their combined assets. On the flipside, I know a few high income women with lower income husbands who lost out massively in divorce. An equal income would solve that problem. Seems they think these women won't leave them if they have no means to obtain an income and don't have to give them anything in the divorce. It's l…
