He probably is just insecure because men are so starved for compliments for their entire life, women don't know that men need to feel loved too, try going up to him and smiling and saying how much you admire him, that will make his day and he'll be much better to you if you do this consistently, you probably weren't doing it enough because women often don't know how starved men are for affection, but it's not hard, just show him you care about him, what comes around is sure to come around!

The end line always kills me. It's basically saying, "Give me advice, but only the advice I want so I can keep living in my fantasy world! Waah!" They KNOW their partner is a flaming dumpster fire and that they should leave, and that's why they post on reddit instead of seeking therapy. Because any therapist worth their salt would be telling them to run, but they don't want to hear that kind of advice.

Is he stressed at work? Maybe try to make it easier for him when he comes home, you should all look at the floor and not speak until spoken to. The stress from having to do any work at all could be making him do all these things. I agree with everyone else. Communicate and go to a counselor. Also, keep dogs away from him because they don't know how to communicate effectively. The dog must have not made it clear that it wants to live. Good luck. Don't just throw away everything you have together!

The poor guy he must be stressed in life, shy to discuss sexual preferences. You need to make his life easier by becoming a full doormat or else you will lose him. (Sarcasm aside a lot of women’s accept continued abuse because of being groomed since a young age by bad environnement, media , bad advises by toxic men and very ill advised woman’s who have learned the same pattern their entire life... breaking this horrible cycle is what needs to happen. Give him at least 7 hours after work for uninterrupted gaming and watching porn in his man cave before you bring up your petty female grievances or he’s going to feel trapped and shut down. I think I’m going to make a collective picture book — since they claim they are visual creatures — and the only words that will be in it are ‘yes’ ‘no’ ‘good’ ‘bad’ with the corresponding photo. Example: picture of man giving woman nice massage = yes;good vs picture of man raping and exploiting woman = no/bad. Then when they come out and say they don’t understand you’ll have the evidence and excuse to leave and say you don’t need to be dating a literal child.
