You're probably unhappy because fulfilment comes from you, not in "snagging" a man.

It's sad that so many women have the crabs in a bucket mentality. It's always a race to the bottom, performative fawning, treading lightly so as to "not harm male ego" and a competition to see who can lay down the flattest for men to walk all over them.

Best words to describe these men are: sleazy, creepy, losers, loners, molesters etc. Being labeled a creep hurts men's reputations more then anything.

This reminds me of Boxer from Animal Farm by Orwell. 'Napoleon is always right' and 'Work harder'. These women are so naive they just blindly fall for the rhetoric of the "good woman" just like boxer fell into the role of "good worker". We all know that men define a "good woman" as one who is self sacrificing to the point of existential crisis. Who is woman in relation to men? She is just a mother and a servant. Nothing more is needed.

Of course you're completely right. I'm mostly in the feeling sorry for myself zone (it just ended). It feels like the p0rn industry has completely won and ruined all the men who are currently alive (I intellectually know this is total hyperbole). Like the majority of us, I was single and touch starved the past two years. I had forgotten what it felt like to have someone to kiss me and run their hands in my hair. Just holding hands felt so good. I felt like I was so close to feeling sexual and in…

Can we normalize NOT giving "wife benefits" to husband's either? I'm totally serious🤷 This is the way. Make your time expensive. Your time and labor are precious resources.

It's so painful to read... But damn, she really walked into the lion's den and did wifey shit for a loser. You have to put yourself first, you have to have your own back and you have to make sure it's on the up and up within the framework of our legal system. No more trust.

Absolutely. It was like when Titania was tricked and manipulated into falling in love with an ass in Midsummers night dream... You did exactly the right thing! You listened to your instincts and saved yourself a ton of heartbreak down the road. I would just suggest journaling after dates to see dating patterns and also include how a man makes you feel after the date. Also, start dating slow and have one date per week for a while. You're 100% correct on dating multiple guys until being exclusive. You're doing great, don't second guess yourself ❤️

Hard no on being a SAHM. We do not make choices in a vacuum - we are always and forever influence by the white supremacist, capitalist patriarchy. It is critical to your safety that you have financial independence for yourself and your children. It also undermines women who stay in the work force. We have to compete with men who have a "wives".. And let me tell you 100% gives men an edge. I've never dated or met a man who would ever be a wifey appliance for me.

I am full against it. It makes you too vulnerable to financial and physical abuse. In addition, there are zero social repercussions if he wants to up and leave you. Look up Betty Broderick. She's and extreme example because of her actions, but her situation is very very common.

I recommend looking at the framework of male-female relationships and the winners and losers in a historical context. Who wins when there is a massive financial, educational, and legal imbalance built into the historical patriarchal structure of marriage? The results are rape in the context of marriage not being illegal until the 1990s in the US, rape culture, unattainable beauty standards imposed on women, high rates of Intimate partner violence due to entitlement and distain/hatred of the woma…

I believe it's the anxiety of this man being the reason she has food in her and a roof over their heads. If he is lured away by another woman, then her life crumbles. Women are encouraged to build & entwine their identities and livelyihood into a man who doesn't rely on her in the same way. It's all built on creating anxiety and desperation in women.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/08/21 09:39 AM

I agree, it's lonely as a single woman. Men's friendships stay the same whether they are married or not. If you're friends with a mixed group, many women can become uncomfortable with a single women around (I've been pushed out of one of these). Finally, many women prioritize men over friendships, which is a massive betrayal. So many women I knew just dissolve into the men they date and then they are gone.

Yes, exactly. Simone de Beauvoir discusses how it's easier to go along with the "feminine life script" and live in "bad faith" because making your own way in the world is hard and dangerous. It takes introspection and can be uncomfortable to find meaning in a meaningless existence. Most humans will do anything to stay out of feelings of anxiety. In the Cinderella Complex, they discuss how women become compliant in dependency because women are conditioned into the role and breaking free is like h…

I've been the guy in this situation: being aggressively pursued by someone who wants to "lock me down" while I felt meh about him. The difference is I'm not a sociopath who strung the guy along to get access to him. I gently told him I wasn't interested then blocked him so he could heal after getting closure. That's the difference, most guys are bad actors who just don't care how much trauma they put on a woman so they can get Mr. PeePee wet.

Being in the military and going on TDY (paid trips) with these men is infuriating. They party, drink, chase girls while stay-at-home wifey is stuck with the kids back on the homestead. You'll have to buy a hard copy, but "Why do I think I am Nothing without a Man?" Is an excellent read on how to deprogram and decenter men from your life. Its really great for an older women who was born under even more patriarchal bullsh*t. It helped me to understand the pressures and brainwashing women get from birth to get a man to so we won't "feel empty" or have a "void" inside.

I literally have had miserable, married women feel sorry for me because I have been single for 2 years by choice. I've never been healthier, happier, had this much money, had clearer skin and had so much free time. I even hired a maid to deep clean my house x2 a month as a treat. The energy they sink into these loser men could set them free. That's what I feel sorry for.

And the women only feel threatened because they know their man will drop them like a brick for a crumb of new p*ssy. It's not you, they just try and turn these trash men into partner material, which is not living in reality. You can't just stop existing to make them comfortable 🤷🏼‍♀️

A thirst trap is a type of social media post intended to entice viewers sexually. It refers to a user's "thirst", a colloquialism likening sexual frustration to dehydration, implying desperation. Originating around the early 2010s, the meaning has changed over time. So when you haven't had sex in 2 years and that 6'3 guy with blue eyes sends you a shirtless selfie at 11pm... You gotta be strong. Nothing good will come from it.

Man or male anglerfish? "The male, which is significantly smaller than the female, has no need for such an adaptation. In lieu of continually seeking the vast abyss for a female, it has evolved into a permanent parasitic mate. When a young, free-swimming male angler encounters a female, he latches onto her with his sharp teeth. Over time, the male physically fuses with the female, connecting to her skin and bloodstream and losing his eyes and all his internal organs except the testes. "

I completely agree that codependency almost always fails to take women and girl's feminine socialization into account. We are taught from birth to put the needs of others in front of our own and center our lives around men. However, I still recommend the book because it helped me decenter and priorize others needs after my own. I wish we didn't have to work so hard to undo our socialized "codependency" but unfortunately we have to do that work too :(

Subordinate to men, sexually colonized in a sexual system of dominance and submission, denied rights on the basis of sex, historically chattel, generally considered biologically inferior, confined to sex and reproduction: this is the general description of the social environment in which all women live." It doesn't actually benefit men, it turns men into pornified zombies who are incapable of intimacy... It benefits the porn industry (cash money). They don't give a damn about these men. They wanna catch boys at 9-10 y/o and indoctrinate them into lifelong porn consumers. These addicted male porn zombies then grow up to fight tooth and nail to keep increasingly violent streams coming to their rotting brains. Who would want to live like that?

Turn it back on them. YOU would never treat someone the way he treated you. You are a person of character and integrity. They lack these characteristics... If anything we were just naive at the time. Life is about gaining experience and you have that now. We have to stop beating ourselves up for someone else's behavior. You can't control them. You can't make him better. You didn't nothing wrong.

What you're describing is personal growth. When you look back and see how your old behaviors were not serving you and you make that vow to yourself that you will never accept that treatment again, then that is a huge win for you and all of us. The "golden era" of economic prosperity was systematically dismantled and stripped apart by the 1980s. The 1990s saw huge job losses with hyberglobalization. They sold out our futures to concentrate a few bucks at the top. Its not our fault they couldn't think critically. Not our mess to fix, especially using our bodies as a cog in the machine.

Like, you're already broken up with your baby mama and obviously not helping her if you have time to "date". What women are signing up for that mess??

I'm curious how he worded that to you? I know men would never come out and be real, so you must have saw through his BS

Serial killers go after sex workers too. That's what bothers me so much about young women joining in on all this lib fem sex work "fun". Its so dangerous. Literally walking into the lions den.

I think curvy, large butt and small waist. Traditional Feminine form, so not an insult in any way. Women pay thousands to have that body type.

Having a man pay for dates does 2 things. 1) Helps signal his interest in you. If hes dating a bunch of girls, of course he's going to want you to split all your dates (or worse, pay for him). Doing too much for a man signals to him that your desperate. 2) levels the playing field. Your hair, make up, outfit are all way more expensive then what he's bringing to the table. If he wants to bask in the glow of your high maintenance beauty, he can help subsidize it.

I'm so traumatized by my past relationships that I can't imagine trusting a man enough to have his kids. My ex went from fully in love with me one day to "hey, Im moving away bye bye" and never talking to me again. It shook me so hard and now I don't believe men can love past 6 months lol.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/12/20 09:23 PM

Or SWERF. Like sex work doesn't effect all women? Like we don't care about them, their futures and their bodies? We seem to care about them more then they do. I don't want our fellow women traumatized.

Was your friend comparing the guys she dated prior to her marriage to now? Because Ive noticed a decline in quality of men in the past 5 years. Its wild. Is it porn or OLD?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/12/20 09:12 PM

That's the biggest issue standing in the way of feminism. So many of us fall in love with our jailers. If women collectively woke up and said no more, a huge majority of us would have to go our own way. There's just too many bad men out there. However, so many women (including past me) just hate being single so much, that we accept anything from men. Pickme's reaction to FDS is just a cope. It keeps them from doing the work and stay in denial.

Remember you were just a kid, living in a society hell bent on breaking your self-esteem, surrounded by trashy men who didn't see you as a person, you most likely saw harmful relationship dynamics in your family all while living in a culture gaslighting you into thinking you're nothing without a man in your life. Don't blame yourself for not "seeing it". The world was built to make you a secondary character to a man. Be proud you refuse to do that now. That's an enormous accomplishment.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/12/20 05:06 PM
19

Yes... However did it ever really exist in the past? I think relationship dynamics have always been frustrating, but at least we can get educated, find high paying jobs and be able to walk away from abusive relationships. I don't think romancing the past is the answer and who knows if men won't fail even more in the future.

I see it everyday in how they talk about their wives. She's a secondary character to him. Its wild that their advice is to literally go your own way. Not to wait and find a great partner. Society always places the emotional burden on the woman. Say yes to appease him so he doesn't lose face in public! Who cares how she feels! Who cares about HER embarrassment! I agree 100%. It's frustrating because this perversion of our (women's) sexuality keeps us divorced from our own pleasure. This hyper focus on the male gaze (because its simple, stupid and above all profitable) keeps us from fundamentally enjoying sex with our partners. I can't remember the last time a man really loved me, wanted me and appreciated me... If it even ever happened.

Defense mechanism? She does porn so she sees the bad side of men. No intimacy. No love. So she distances herself from "wanting that" by trying to dismantle the intimacy of another relationship. She's internalized the fact all she's good for is sex so there's no way men can love other women either.

If you're on the bottom of the pyramid of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, you shouldn't be dating. If you have no job, live with parents, and $4.00 in your account you obviously directing your energy to the wrong thing. Many people use sex as a drug, to pick them up when they are lonely, sad or have low self-esteem. Ladies, don't let these men use your bodies for a pick me up. Plus they will latch on to you and drain you. They are the ultimate barnacle. Don't even engage with one.

Simply because it serves them to keep women in the one down position in society. Men benefit from our emotional and economic labor and a broken slave is easier to extract from then an empowered one. We need to trust one another and build women up as leaders. Men won't do it. They won't do anything that doesn't directly benefit them. Women need to put themselves first and be just as selfish as men. That's how we enact change.

I disagree. The past patriarchy created an artificial gap that was originally created, in the context of modern society, by keeping women down. Now that we as a society are becoming less tolerant of that style of division, mediocre men are finding it harder to create a gap. Men prior to the 1970s had a huge, artificial advantage over women. Women have been systematically denied access to leadership positions for centuries. That's why there aren't that many. It has nothing to do with genetics. However, we have more women in college, medical school and law school, so I'm sure that will all change in a few generations. BTW, when I joined the military in 2010, women couldn't go into combat arms with meant they were denied access to command positions. That was only 10 years ago.

What I'm saying is, it makes no sense for women to have kids with a broke man. We need to empower women so they aren't attracted to losers and deadbeats. Provide them better sex education so they can make better reproductive choices. It's not "wOmEn are fucking idiots", the issues are systematic racism and poor education all around. Plus many of these women are sexually and physically abused. Maybe add some nuance and empathy to your world view.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/20 01:34 PM

Women have the children. Women take the hits in their career for having kids. It makes sense women want a man to bring something to the table if she's making these sacrifices.

There's no special leadership gene on the Y chromosome. A huge majority of my male soldiers are mostly man babies who need constant coddling and gold stars for doing there jobs. I'm sick of libfems throwing around TERF and SWERF because other women criticize their pro-porn/pro-sex work BS. As women we are allowed to criticize these industries that hurt women as a group.

Feminists will complain all day on social media about how oppressed they are and how hard it is a woman and then pay their rent by selling their feet pics on the Internet Yes, because the 1% of women who do that and make a ton of money speaks for all women. That's fine, I just don't think it's empowering. You and other sex workers are not above criticism. I personally think it is more harmful then good for society. I'm antiporn too. I think porn and sex work ruins intimacy in relationships and allows for trafficking of women and children. That's based off the research I've seen.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 04:00 PM
2

Well you must live in some magical porn utopia because my friends who have done sex work have gotten abused, hurt, fired from their jobs, and lost friends and family. This idea that sex work is empowering to women is such a scam.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:48 PM
1

So basically woman and men can't be friends? I don't understand your reasoning.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:45 PM
4

Absolutely. When you have high standards as a woman it's hard to find a guy you find sexually enticing. Most men just don't take care of themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:38 PM
2

Until you want to get out of the industry and have your sex work follow you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:37 PM
2

If it was empowering then why don't people in power do it? You don't see Michelle Obama or Bill Gates selling nudes online. Selling sex is the oldest profession in the world for women. Real empowerment is education, financial literacy and taking leadership positions. You know, things women have been barred from. Sex work is just using agency. You have the right to do it, but it isn't empowering you. I have the right to eat 30 cheeseburgers, but it's not empowering me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:36 PM
2

If this is true then you guys are the 1% of sex workers. If this was universal then everyone would do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:32 PM
2

Seriously. I'm a woman and I joined the military to get the GI Bill and better myself. I gained tons of valuable skills and got my degrees paid for. I swear some people think sex work is the only option for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:31 PM
2

How long is that going to last? do you want to be 50-60 years old trying to sell nudes/sex online? Plus the abuse sex workers have to endure is horrific. I think the average porn star career is 18 months because of all the wear and tear on their bodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:29 PM
1

Because women set up a system where they couldn't have any power, take leadership positions, work and earn a decent wage, get an education and vote. Maybe crack open a history book once and a while.

They want 2 classes of women. Women to use, prostitute, see in porn and have causal sexual relationships with. The second class is virgins to marry and have their children. It's classic madonna/whore dichotomy and FDS threatens to empower the "whore" class of women.

Because liberal feminism is about the individual and their choices when the issues are institutional. Men and lib fems can't see the forest through the trees. This is the argument for legalization of prostitution. However, they fail acknowledge the amount of abuse and stigma associated with it. I always ask, if prostitution is so empowering would you encourage your daughter to do it? To know she had to service multiple Johns using her mouth, anus and vagina? That these men would rip her soft tissues, expose her to disease and possibly need physical abuse to get off? It makes is suddenly real. That these are real flesh and blood women.

Liberal feminism literally has men acting like the women now. How many times have I ve seen men on OLD saying "woo me" and "chase me". I mean if you want that then give us the one up position in society where we hold all the structural power.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/09/20 12:17 AM

There is a reason they had to systematically oppress us for centuries. We run circles around them because we aren't hopelessly chained to our sexuality. Yes, women love sex, but we don't need to traffick men into it, destroy their bodies and dignity in porn and use them in prostitution.

I would recommend looking for groups you will stick with. I love running so I always look forward to my running group. The women in my book club are whip smart, so we can have fantastic intellectual conversation. It will probably depend on what part of the world you live in and if you live in a major city v…

The narrative that a single woman is something to be pitied is 100% from the patriarchy. "The wall" "your eggs will dry up" "biological clock" are all ways to get you to lower your standards when you are young and dumb so you don't accidentally become a fully formed, independent human. Smart, financially independent woman learn how to be "selfish". She's so close to understanding this but I think she misses the mark.

What happened? Women started gaining power. We got educated and joined the work force. We ripped the veil back and saw the smoke behind the screen. None of this shit is hard. We can do it too. And sometimes we can do it better. Men's response? They fucking gave up. That's the problem. We peaked behind the curtain and saw exactly what their ego didn't want us to see. We don't need them.
