Honestly, it’s become one of my favorites. I’ve been on a mission the last few years to make more female friends, consume more female media, and find more female focuses outlets. Most of the other subs for women allow men and they just brigade and wax on and it defeats the purpose.

It doesn’t hurt that this sub has some of the funniest comments. I literally am rolling all night.

There is no outlet for women who want to demand better treatment from men, without also being religious/conservative.

It's like liberal/mainstream culture decided that having access to women was a right - max pleasure for men with minimal investment. Challenge that and people make all sorts of assumptions about other values.

I feel the same! I've been doing my part this year. I've gone wgtow and I put as much effort in my appearance as I feel like (I prefer a low-effort look and feel better like this) I don't care about the male gaze anymore. Men in my country, especially the dirty and out of shape ones will parade in public spaces with their man boobs and huge bellies and hairy chests on full display and they don't even think about the female gaze. I've seen so many males bent over with their asscrack visible as they were repairing their cars or other stuff. I'm disgusted and my female gaze was bothered! So, why should I care about what I'm giving back?

I've learned that it's important for me to feel healthy and comfortable after years of starving myself, feeling weak, and wearing uncomfortable clothes to appeal to their dirty looks. Also, wgtow has given me an immense relief and day to day relaxation and happiness.

Unfortunately I still have some pickmeisha friends who haven't listened to my advice and have even tried to tell me that I'm just in a "man-hating phase" and I'll grow out of it. But I'm not hating anyone - I just ignore them and their opinions lol! So my pickmeisha friends are miserable and always suffering over some man issue, while I'm out here living my best life (as much as I can during the pandemic haha)

The best part is, whenever others talk about FDS to shit on them, people come to check the sub out expecting the worst. And then they realize that actually it's about something completely different and then they stay.

A lot of men do a "self fulfilling prophecy" when they find a woman they really like. They think they don't deserve her or that something must be wrong with her for choosing him, so they sabotage the relationship. They don't really want to lose her, but they put her through shit tests to try and make her prove her love. It makes zero fucking sense. So your second paragraph was SPOT ON. I've never been able to be long term happy with a guy. I am very low drama and low conflict and apparently they find that too boring and constantly work at causing drama in the relationship. I've also experienced a lot of passive aggressive behavior from men where they punish me for something I did that they didn't like, but I have no idea until I recognize their behavior is on purpose. Men claim women should communicate more, but they are far less communicative and far more passive aggressive.

I quit dating last year. I no longer have the energy for the bullshit.

I am a brand newbie to this space, but let me tell you it has been like the slap upside my head I've needed my whole life. I grew up in a horrible abusive home with the biggest of all pickmeisha mothers so I've struggled with internalized misogyny and mommy issues my whole life. It caused me to get into relationships that were so toxic and horrible for me and my mental health because I've never really had positive examples of healthy relationships. I haven't been able to stop reading here since finding it and I feel like every minute I gain so much more understanding of what I've been up against. I'm incredibly grateful for this space.
