Apparently MBFGW was the most financially successful romantic comedy of all time. Maybe because it resonated with women?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/04/22 03:50 AM
48

I think it's best used in the sense that if a woman gets cheated on, it doesn't mean there's something "wrong" with her. But yes, let's not excuse shitty behaviour.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/22 02:13 AM

You want another red hot tip ladies? Create yourself a fake insta of women's butt and boob shots (google them, not your own of course), call it SexxpottSiren667 or something and ssssslide into his DMs. If you get a reply, you have all the info you need. Really weeds out the sneaky ones. You're welcome 😉😉😉
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/04/22 10:25 AM

The sneaky ones can easily have multiple accounts--its very easy to switch accounts with insta now. You gotta snoop their phones ladies.

I can only hope it was written by a male LARPER. I can't really fathom an actual mother who'd not immediately next/report the guy.

Share minor vulnerabilities...even fake ones. Nothing serious or major. E.g. oh thank god there's no audience participation in this theatre performance, I hate it! NOT: my family burned to death at a Sea Parks.

There was a post on FDS about a husband who got fit and healthy (to increase success rate) and gave his wife a kidney. A husband of 20+ years (who has earned your trust and respect) is very different to a guy who just proposed. How long had they known each other for? Did he propose pre-or post diagnosis? This whole thing could be fake anyway.

"Nothing but fun, loyalty, love, trust, appreciation"....ok, so why did she leave you? Guess what, that 19 year old also had expectations, she knew you weren't going to meet them and left.

No harm in going on a date with this guy, but have a busy schedule, keep your options open and keep dating multiple men! Also "if the right one comes along" is a recipe for timewasting...in order to meet "the one" you need to entertain multiple options.

I wear a bit of makeup when I feel like it, but I don't shave my legs or armpits. To each their own. Men have worn makeup historically, it's not essentially a sign of weakness or anything to be ashamed of. Love to see us all supporting each others' choices. Whenever we make a conscious decision that goes against societal expectations, it's great 💗

Really interesting the way they call out films as stripper/prostitution propaganda. I relate, because 'coolgirl/pickme' is so prevalent in the media too. Not to mention social media, nowadays. The media narrative needs to change.

He's willing and keen to step out of his comfort zone with you E.g. you enjoy a very spicy dish he's never tried, he wants to try it, he even tries cooking it for you. You dance flamenco, he takes a flamenco class with you even though he has 2 left feet and never danced in his life. You've always wanted to go to a far-flung destination, he drives you there and makes great travel plans. This is different to "mirroring"--it takes effort and attention to detail.

Those movies were created by scrotes to groom a generation of women and get easy sex. My god, what I wouldn't give for some movies where women are shown to be ruthless, savvy and making smart choices.

Have never dated a gamer, and never will. If I want to do something, I go and do it, from dancing in a forest dressed as a fairy to firing shotguns or skiing. Pretending to do things on a screen proves what? You can push buttons really quickly? (I'm sure there are logic and strategy-based games, but there's bridge and mah-jong if you want that, with a side of social interaction and tea).

Look at the comments for any youtube video of a female celeb in her 30s....there's always a bunch of gobsmacked scrotes saying "I can't believe this woman isn't 21"...they literally cannot tell a woman's age by looking at her, and seem to expect women in their 30s to suddenly look wildly different. I know quite a few women who have gone the "single mother by choice" route (sperm donor or adoption) and are raising amazing sons, with no scrote involvement, and of course FDS-savvy mothers like Gail Dines. Perhaps in the future the ultimate vetting question to ask a guy will be "Do the letters FDS mean anything to your mother?" Or possibly a secret handshake...It worked for the Masons 😁

I usually ask general questions to get a vibe for the guy's political views, without expressing my views one way or another...I try to seem neutral. It's like porn consumption--you need to suss it out without disclosing your opinion on the subject. If the guy happily expresses his political views, without parroting your "neutral" stance then you know he's not mirroring you. If his views align with yours, great. If they don't and it's a dealbreaker for you, dump him. The other test, is if his vie…

Red flag: he asked her "what she thought of poly"...this is code for "I want to cheat on you with or without your permission". She flew to meet him? He should have come to HER city. She had unprotected sex with him as soon as they met? Sis needs FDS, and her video is way too kind. It should just say "Watch out ladies, this guy is cheating, lying scum". Of course he preyed on a woman who was going through a rough time mentally. Fuck this dude.

The whole "it adds variety" comment is creepy. If a man had done it because the ex gf had specifically requested trying it, ok fine. But if it was his idea? Red flag. Double red flag if he pressured her into it. His points sound like lowkey pressure. A HVM would say "I only want to do things in bed that YOU enjoy". End of story. I say cut this guy off. He doesn't deserve you.

I think it's fine if it happens to be true. He could have a browser history full of god knows what. The only way to really know is to snoop. Asking if he watches porn may have made him think it could be a dealbreaker for you. It's tricky, keep an eye on him.

Reminds me of a hideous article I read on "male birth trauma". While the interviewees included men who had genuinely experienced hellish things (like their wives nearly dying, doctors not listening to their pleas) it also included men who described "seeing vaginal blood" as "traumatic" and that it "ruined his sex life". FFS give me a break!

If we "desexualise" breasts men can grope them and say "but it was in a non-sexual way! Squeezing someone's tits is as innocuous as a handshake!" .

Great ep ladies! Of course there are tribal societies in which bare breasts are the norm, but expecting the rest of the world to magically drop all previous associations is like expecting people to start hunting and foraging for everything they eat. The people pushing for "desexualisation" are usually men who want to see more nudity on social media to wank to, or weirdo men into nudism (probably exhibitionists) or pickme attention seeking women who want to post boob shots without it being consid…

It also means he was probably using it the entire time you were dating. So much for "loneliness", he was dating a real woman and still using it. If he'd quit porn when you started dating, I bet there would have been no issues. The man is an addict. No, porn has not ruined men, the pornsick ones have chosen it. Alcohol exists, but not everyone is an alcoholic.

Having to wear padded bras to conceal a perfectly natural part of the anatomy grinds me. I feel so uncomfortable with perky nipples showing through fabric because men carry on like it's some kind of burlesque show, and I just want to mind my business and get on with my day. Yeah, it seems like the definition has become a bit skewed. We at FDS critique pickme behaviour...women can have any kind of interest or dress any way they want. Pickme behaviour: not holding men to any kind of standard, having your life revolve around a man.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/02/22 08:41 AM

For context, Cat Marnell mentions such experiences in her book, and not necessarily in an endorsing or positive way. But gee, sex parties as "no big deal"? Please, men don't get to have an opinion on anything regarding the female body.

Yes, his efforts need to be tailored to your needs and preferences. So many pickmes dismiss it as "commercial and generic", it shouldn't and needn't be. Whether you love a hallmark card and teddy bear or prefer handmade artisanal jewelry and organic hand-picked flowers...it needs to be thoughtful and you-appropriate.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/02/22 02:58 AM

Valentines Day is especially relevant in the courting stages, a way of making feelings known...but it doesn't mean the man can now take you for granted or see it as a "serious step" that he bought you flowers or took you out for dinner.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/02/22 02:56 AM

A HVM should ask you whether it is something you enjoy celebrating/would like to celebrate, and work from there. Even if you have shunned it in the past (old pickme habits), simply let the man know that it's something you'd like to celebrate this year. A HVM will make sure you have a special time.

Vagueness is a beautiful thing. "I don't want to limit myself to one particular type of person, I'm keeping an open mind" A LVM will interpret this as an excuse to show their LVM traits. A nice way to get them to show their true colours. Even if you want kids--don't say so straight up. Focus on finding out his attitude to kids (or he'll simply say he wants them just because he's mirroring you). Be vague, vague, vague about all your dealbreakers. "I'm not sure if I want kids yet" is a good answer…

It's fine, completely up to you. I'd be careful about telling guys this aim (waiting for marriage) early on though--as we say on FDS, don't show your playbook. Just date, and if sex comes up, say you're not ready yet. If a guy pushes for a timeline---"so when will you be ready?" You can either say "I don't know, I'll let you know when I am" (lol, on my wedding night) or dump him for being pushy.

I think we need to show some interest....but nothing beyond eye contact and light flirting. A true HVM should not hit on a woman who isn't interested in him, it's creepy and rude. Asking the woman out is 100% up to the man. The FDS podcast episode on flirting stratgies is excellent.

The FDS podcast on flirting suggests flirting ONCE to signal your interest (whether the guy is taken or not--often in public situations there's no way to tell other than a wedding ring) ---this would involve eye contact, maybe a smile and striking up a conversation....and then it's up to him to actively pursue you. And by this we mean asking for your number and taking you on a Proper Date. And from there on it's VET, VET, VET. No crushes. And you don't give them your real number, use an app like…

Oh if someone threatens you (e.g. with a weapon, or violence) and tells you not to scream and "everything will be ok, don't scream".....scream. and if you can run, run---preferably in a zig zag. While screaming loudly. Anyone who threatens your safety will not blink at killing or harming you....they simply mean to do it later. You have a higher chance of survival if you run and scream at the first sign of a threat. Your greatest weapon is DISTANCE between you and the perpetrator.

I think it's very healthy to spend some time travelling/away from each other. If he's a HVM, then it shouldn't matter. All such trips should be verifiable, checkable and details shared. If a man is hesitant to share any details or the details are shaky/shady/vague then it's a red flag. If the trips are suddenly sprung on you without warning, it's a red flag. It definitely depends on what "you" want. Marriage is not for everyone, and I see too many "get that ring" comments here on FDS for my liking. It also depends on what country you live in and the relevant laws. P.S. not all of us are in the US and in some countries living with a man will automatically make you his defacto partner after a certain amount of time.

Yeah, I knew a woman who did it too. It was a sort of low self esteem/jealousy combo with a side of "look how edgy I am". Sad.

It's true. If Javier Bardem or Adrien Brody were women, they would never have "made it in Hollywood" with those faces. Diversity of appearance is MUCH more tolerated in men, by men.

Yeah. They stayed single and are still single.

Refers to treating a woman as a human being as "work". Expects bjs and athletic pornstar sex. Has never made a woman orgasm. Wow ladies, real catch right here!

Also never agree to a date where the plan is not made clear to you in advance. This is how walk dates and weid shit happens. We need to know the name of the restaurant, type of food etc. An element of suprise is fine, but these are ridiculous! Suprise, I brought my mother!

Yes, maybe some FDS members in more difficult situations/countries could write some content and advice.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/12/21 10:40 AM

It's true, without having experienced the situation women in more oppressive countries suffer, we can't really begin to imagine how that must feel. I see articles about women who are burned with acid or harmed by family members and my heart breaks. We certainly don't consider women trapped in such situations pickmes, but maybe FDS members from similar countries can provide the best advice and support?

And I tend to like gifts that some ladies on here would deem tacky, like makeup and lingere. But it's not just ANY item, it's that specific set from a particular brand I mentioned I liked, or a specific eye palette...it's all bout how much close attention he's paying to you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/12/21 10:30 PM

I am so happy for you. And ladies, never ever mention the shit gifts from exes!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/12/21 10:26 PM

It's not about the cost, it's about how fitting, special and meaningful that gift is to me. Also drop hints about the kinds of things you like around that time. A HVM will pick up on them.

Lol, I have expressed opinions totally opposite to my personal beliefs to gauge how a man reacts. If he agrees, he either believes those things, or is a narc mirroring me. Both red flags.

I feel like the vase of flowers is just an example. If you're a busy mum with 3 young kids, the husband putting the flowers in a vase might be appreciated. But I get it--it's more only doing a mere fraction of a task/gift/gesture. Weaponised slackness? It is a sort of wilful blindness to the scope of a task. Bless this man. I've dated HVMs who cook well, are clean and tidy and seem to enjoy manual "mans" work as well. Also briefly dated lazy toads who thought washing a single dish was "work". Once you've experienced a HVM, there is NO going back. Inexperienced ladies, if your boyfriend isn't hard working, kind and wonderful ALL THE TIME drop thar SOB like a stone. You deserve better.

Men upset that they don't have a date: work on becoming a good person. It doesn't matter what you look like or if you are disabled. Help others. Help animals. Help the less fortunate--in any way possible. Donate time, money, energy. Show an interest in the lives of others. Be your best self--the most positive, responsible, hardworking, kind. Look after your health. Treat women as friends, get to know them as people. Build a strong social network of friends, who are, above all , good, mind people…

Always happy to hear an anti porn message. Of course the impact on women/trafficking isn't mentioned, but it's not like the mainstream media covers that much either. I'm not going to berate a young tiktoker for his "lack of coverage" when actual media outlets are pushing the "sex work is empowering" agenda.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/12/21 10:01 AM
19

The pets is a good indicator, particularly puppies. Also look at things like housework, laundry and cleanliness. Does he help babysit friends children or nieces and nephews? Ask about his views on child-rearing and childcare. HVMs should have strong opinions on this! How does he react around neglectful/inattentive/chaotic parents? Particularly fathers. If he's not shocked it's a bad sign.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/12/21 09:53 AM

Return of the Mack is fine imo. "You lied to me"...everyone should leave a liar, male or female. It's a great comeback song.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/12/21 09:42 AM

There is also that trick mentioned on FDS where you use his email address to register for OnlyFans and if it rejects it, then you know he's already got an account. Plus if you find evidence via snooping, never tell the man. Just leave elegantly and with a generic reason (we're just not meant to be). If you reveal what you found it just makes them sneakier at hiding it with the next woman.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/12/21 12:49 AM

Let's not forget that these men's "inner values" could use some work. Heck, if a mediocre looking guy was funny, kind amazing, engaging, faithful, did lots of yardwork, gave the woman massages, bought thoughtful treats, helped with housework and maintenance cheerfully and generally just made life awesome....the bedroom would not be dead.

There was a woman in France whose husband was drugging her food with sleeping pills and pimping her out while she was asleep. She had KIDS with this man and had been married for years. We have to be vigilant ladies. I highly advocate all forms of snooping.

At the same time, if you feel more comfortable without jewellery wearing khaki slacks, go for it. We are diverse women with our own unique personal styles. Boundaries and standards should be enough. A hvm will respect you with or without a rock around your neck.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/21 09:46 AM

That sounds positive. Hmm, you could check the browser history as well as settings (e.g. if it is set up to immediately delete history). There is always private/incognito browsing tabs they can use too. Any tech savvy FDSers got other porn snooping tips?

Women need to abandon instagram. It has turned into a combo of porn, tinder and a strong dose of fucking with women's self esteem. Between filters, "influencers" and OnlyFans it's a shitshow. Having a "no selfies only sunsets you googled" account is helpful for vetting purposes (no photos from your life to avoid geotags/stalking).
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/21 11:01 AM
2

For future reference you can ask the person to send a weirdly specific photo (e.g. holding a eggbeater with a piece of paper that says zkwizxik---for example). If they can't produce this they are using fake pics (unless they are using a female relative or partner to take them, in which case they could also use her to facetime you....god forbid and unlikely)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/21 10:55 AM
8

There's a good FDS podcast episode on flirting. My best tip is to not be too impressed by anything the man says.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/21 10:47 AM
7

There are 2 types of male interaction, respectful and disrespectful. You know the difference when you experience both. Sitting at a bus stop in a tube top and miniskirt will quickly attract the former. It's scary and feels like it could be followed by assault. Respectful attention occurs in normal interactions where the person has a good reason to be interacting with you. E.g. the workplace, a shared event etc. You feel calm and your boundaries are respected.

The trope of the desperate divorced woman who meets the unlikely suitor with the heart of goldwithout any vetting...man that needs to die. Nothing wrong with a romance story, but when they're all written, directed and produced by men, the woman is never shown to be careful, discerning or choosy.

"the king had been making inquiries in secret about divorcing Katherine of Aragon years before Boleyn came on the scene, and Boleyn actually resisted the king’s advances." Male historians love to take the man's side. The King had his wives executed. We know who the bad guy is here.

Calling it an "addiction" excuses the behaviour. "I couldn't help it, it's an addiction". If a woman went around kicking 250 men in the family jewels every day, scrotes wouldn't be excusing the behaviour by calling it an "addiction".

A walk date is a damn sight less safe than a dinner date. If you're worried about safety get a burly male relative to drop you off and pick you up. I'm thinking of starting such a business "The Burly Male Relative Chauffeur Service". You will be transported in luxury by a driver (your choice of Jason Momoa or The Rock) who provides bonus "Don't fuck with her" glares at the direction of your date.

I've always dated very tidy men. It's a standard of mine. I'm always the messier one, but I think women should have more allowance for this as we are incapacitated by periods and pms once a month.

I feel sorry for women like this. Half the time the "cool girl bi" attitude stems from negging and breadcrumbing from some manipulative (usually older) emotionally unavailable scrote. Who is just rubbing his hands together at how he has ground down this woman's self esteem where she is willing to let him cheat on her in her presence. I'm bi, and no, it's not ok to leer at women. It means he doesn't respect you OR her.

The ugly troll of a man was just that. You're a Queen. Hold your head high. I'm a "conventionally beautiful" woman and have also struggled with body image and liking my looks--the messages the world and media bombard women with are insidious. I even had ex-boyfriends neg me for being "too glamourous" and begged me to just wear jeans and t-shirts. Working on self-love and self esteem is so important. Take the time to get into a better mindset. It takes time, but you will get there! I recently lea…

Don't act satisfied or fake anything whatever you do. Men only improve in bed if you make it very clear he's not doing a good job. Body language should be all you need to get the message across (e.g. roll over in bed, frown). He should literally be thinking "damn I need to please her or I'm gonna lose her". He doesn't get to orgasm until he satisfies YOU. If he takes the hint, he should start asking Qs like "does that feel good? Tell me what you like/want/need". If he doesn't seem to care....bye…

Personally I'm against being too open with details about one's job in the early stages. Give a vague area or field e.g healthcare, education, law. If a guy pushes for explicit detail, it's a red flag (e.g. where do you work, which hospital?) He could be trying to stalk you at work. No linkedin profiles either, or if you must have one give a false name on dates until thoroughly vetted.

Yeah, having someone with you is a great idea.

Once you have your escape plan settled, You could always say you're going to the gym, drive off, then text him "it's over, I know everything that's been going on with you and (other woman), the key is (in the flower pot/biscuit tin/wherever you've hidden it). and then just never come back from the gym. Just realised you have a dog...ok...maybe say you are taking the dog out to a dog park or to the vet.

I know this one well. Wise words. In some countries you don't need to repay your student loan until you are earing over a certain wage...so these men will consciously always earn under that amount, never repay the debt and just keep doing more courses.

He kind of proved your point though. Woman: "I don't do hike dates, the man could be a psycho killer" Man acts like a psycho killer gee why woman no want to hike with me? I can't help but wonder if this guy is actually Brian Laundrie. Just like a narc to be online dating while on the run. Not serious, but also kinda serious.

So many pickmes make fun of women who aren't having sex like "oh you can just tell by looking at someone if they're not getting that Dick, no glow" etc. Utter BS. Projection, probably related to their orgasm-faking unsatisfied sex lifes.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/10/21 11:51 AM

Even if they aren't full of masculine pride, a good man would acknowledge the inherent danger a woman faces in helping a strange man, and knows it's more appropriate to ask another man.

The culture of thirst traps and body shots is super weird to me. I think some women haved worked out it will get them more (male) followers, and they are hoping for a paid promo or somesuch.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/10/21 12:03 AM

I agree, I don't like a lot of communication. A date once a week or every couple of weeks gives me the freedom to date other men and not be locked down by a guy who might not be the one. Otherwise, say, you're on a date, Friday night with another guy and then he calls? What do you do? Not pick up? Remember, we're not having sex for 3+ months...that's time to be spent sussing him (and others) out.

I hate the way sex between people who have recently met is portrayed in Hollywood as "the norm, "empowering" or resulting in a "happily ever after". I feel like male movie producers enjoy the idea of deluding young women.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/10/21 11:02 AM
54

Yeah, maybe the term evolved as a way of women who are being pressured for sex to say "no" without being labelled a "prude". I don't think it should be necessary. Wanting to get to know someone as a person before being intimate isn't abnormal, but the majority of scrotes would sure like to push the agenda that it is.

First dates need to be safe and public (no hikes, bungee jumping etc). You need to be able to talk and judge him.Later it can get more interesting--tickets (paid for by him) to an event/show/concert you like. Activities that require effort and planning on his part, e.g. picnic followed by art gallery (to see an exhibition you are into).

But why the "sports business" bit? Does he specialise in hockey players who've been smashed in the mouth? Or is he part of a team of dentists who pull teeth in a competitive fashion? Yes, as a non-American I can't say I fully grasped the intricacies, but found it interesting. Ethnicity, culture, religion and politics are complex when we are talking about someone's personal experience. For example my family is religious but not anti-abortion, even though many would say they "should be". The episode was just a chance to introduce Elle, not grill her on issues.

Also what is this "ring by spring" saying?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/10/21 11:02 AM

I think the most important things is "what do you want". Some women might prefer a cheaper ring and for him to spend the $ on the luxurious honeymoon of her dreams. Some women might want a big diamond from Tiffany. Another might want him to mine the stone and craft it himself. The mark of a HVM is, he is listening and careful to get the ring the woman wants, whatever will make her happy. I've heard 3 months salary is a good guide for a man to spend on a ring.

FDS women are pretty up front...a woman...who is dating...and taking her time getting to know you....probably wants....a relationship!? Who would have guessed!? What kind of a manipulative pickup artist is she, fancy wanting to get to know me as a person!? Scrotes mad. They know exactly what FDS is about, that's why it scares them. And pickmes are quick to slander us, as it reinforces their "pick me I have no standards" narrative.

I have also experienced this. Even if you don't stay together, dating a HVM is a valuable experience because you will never tolerate low effort again, you know how high the bar can be (he got me some nice jewellery that I will be keeping).

I feel like we could adapt fds rules to "no sex for at least 3 months, and he's proved to be high value and given you a thoughtful gift or flowers".
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/10/21 06:39 AM
14

A bouquet is just one nice gesture. On its own, it means nothing--any man can buy you flowers, doesn't make him high value. This is why we vet continuously. Sorry you've had a rough time of it, but the positive is you now know how to avoid timewasting selfish losers.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/10/21 06:35 AM

Female tradespeople exist, they would probably love to advertise this fact for female clients BUT predatory males would probably call them so they can harass or leer at the lady plumber. It's not safe for women to enter a strange man's house.

I've dated older and younger...there is no general rule. Both can be mature or immature. It's down to the individual. Both can be broke or wealthy. Both can be scrotes or HV. Beware older men if you're under 30 or naive. An older man has to be super high value for me to consider him, as I dont want to be a carer late in life (he'd need to pay for that himself). There is no simple rule other than vet, vet, vet.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/10/21 12:05 AM

Yeah I recently read an article that said in all cases of pregancies over 35, where there were abnormalities it was found that the cause was something other than than the woman's age. Yet they still insist on calling it a bloody geriatric pregnancy FFS. Probably something do with the man tbh.

There is something very scrotey about the turn of phrase. The description of the new gf as "stunning", cliches like "butterflies in my stomach"...like he's trying to imagine how a woman would write. The emphasis of pregnancy after 35 being "super risky" (myth) And quel suprise the woman's profile 'disappears'

Subjective generalizations aren't helpful as they're not based on fact, e.g. women are more delicate, all men are stronger than women, all women want children and are slaves to their biology. But not acknowledging sex based differences is harmful-- e.g. most men are stronger than women, women give birth, 98% of sexual predators are male etc (don't quote me on the stats) and as such should be used when creating policies to protect and support women.

It's fine that she doesn't care about height, but no need to tell the world (or even the man you're dating).
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/09/21 12:06 PM

Agree here. You kind of need to vet female friends. I always suggest try a group outing first (like getting coffee with the ladies from your yoga class) and judge how they behave in the group. If there are some red flags (e.g. racism, dominating convos, me me me, anything toxic) then it doesn't progress. If you gel, then a few more group outings and then you can progress to one-on-one time together.

I see, that's awful. I'm guessing attitudes to gay couples have a long way to go too?

Any man who is "too shy" to ask a woman out isn't fit for a relationship. Is he also going to be "too shy" to protect you in a dangerous situation? "Too shy" to advocate for you when you're (say) in labour and need certain medical help? "Too shy" is our signal to say "nope, he's not ready, he has to go work on his confidence and social skills".

I've also met some very tall women who married rather short (HV) men. It's like, being so tall themselves, the ladies never saw it as particularly important. I'm tall and I have dated shorter men. It's only massively unattractive if they are obviously insecure about it. E.g. tell you not to wear heels.

Horrific. I've read western anthropologists (always male) upholding this sort of thing as wonderfully spiritual and citing things like "tribal societies have far lower rates of violence against women" so that makes it all ok. No, privileged white man, you do not speak for these girls and women.

The following bikini models on insta is very common unfortunately, and they often come up as "suggested people to follow" for men. In some ways an open follow is better than a psychopath's squeaky clean insta (with an alternative account for their porny follows). You've made your discomfort clear, but his excuse was pretty poor. Give him the cold shoulder, keep a scrotation and keep vetting.

True, it's a grey area...a guy who has never been exposed to porn would be v.rare, and they may have been exposed very young, thanks to friends and technology (gen z ect). I think some vague questions to guage attitude are a good start, to get a sense of his stance. Guys who have quit porn completely may have been hardcore addicts with ED, so you want to try and work out his reasoning. Then, a bit of a snoop to see if the words match the viewing history. If it's crazy level use, run. More mild? …

Its hard to tell if a bloke is pretending to be anti porn or just is. I don't think any harm can come from the word getting out that women will refuse to date porn addicts, but as people have said here, a true addict will just get sneakier at hiding it. Really the only hope for future generations has tp come from parents educating kids about the problems porn can cause, and empowering girls to not tolerate men who use it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/21 12:40 AM

It feels like internalized misogyny as trauma response. If I laugh WIth the men at beef sandwich vag jokes then they won't get pleasure out of hurting me. It's not the answer hun.

I actually quite like Whitney Cummings, read her book where she writes a lot about trauma and overcoming codependency, I think she has matured as a performer and her newer material is a lot healthier.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/21 12:20 AM
16

Ohh I think I recall her talking on a podcast about her porn addiction, I remember thinking she needs help. There must be some trauma to unpack for sure. I have no problem with female comedians discussing sex, as long as they call out the bullshit, not play along with male misogynists.

So he was a sneaky liar. You can't spot that sort of thing immediately, but yeah, well done. I wouldn't have bothered telling him about the age gap red flag-- you don't owe scrotes an explanation. Hmm, you could say you went to an art exhibition and there were a lot of female nudes in the gallery. Ask a question like "Where do you think the line between art and pornography lies?" and see where the conversation goes. He might then say " well the porn I've seen..." and reveal himself.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/09/21 11:20 AM

Ahh, the clothing point probably ruffled a few feathers. As OP says sbe used to dress "extremely provocatively" and perhaps toning things down a little could be helpful, but truly, as long as you're not sleeping with a guy you should be able to go on dates in a latex minidress if you like....the ones who are solely after sex will give up eventually. It might even be an interesting experiment!

If you don't have the same name it can be hard to prove you're legally married in a hospital/emergency type situation. Unless you literally carry around a copy of your marriage certificate. Personally I would recommend having a friend or relative drop you off to the date so he really doesn't see your car or get a taxi/uber (but dont tell him that)

"Disfigured down there". This doesn't add up. Yes, childbirth can lead to vaginal tearing but in most cases once the tear is stitched and healed, it should look pretty much as before. Any midwives care to weigh in? Bet he's no oil painting either.

This episode made me think of the movie "An Education" perfect illustration of an age gap predator relationship, buf also a good reminder that it does not need to taint your future https://youtu.be/MMqzmIceAnw

A truly HV older man with money will not expect the woman to be his caretaker when he's old and sick. My uncle made it clear to my aunt that he would move into an expensive nursing home and pay for his own medical care when he got sick. He told her "the thought of you being my nurse would break my heart".

I'd have a thick goatee if I didn't pluck my chin hair and my pubes come down to mid thigh. I don't mind walking around as a bearded lady but let's just say I prefer a facial hair free look. As for the mid thigh pubes, I wax 'em (just the thighs) in summer because I don't want to wear swimsuits with legs to the knee or boardshorts --just a style preference really. (the other option, of wearing a high cut bathing suit and the world seeing my pubes I haved rocked on the odd occasion. It's ok but I…

"Cool girling" and being "Not like other girls" also feels like a trauma response at this point. Misogyny doesn't apply to me coz I'm soooo different and if I act like I don't care...maybe it won't hurt as much.

Most women don't want to participate in hookup culture, we're just brainwashed by society to think it is empowering and "the norm". It's depicted everywhere in popular culture. But when we find FDS, get some standards and start having sex on our own terms (i.e. when a man is making us happy in all areas of life) mysteriously it gets so much better!

It's a total queen move. However I'd demand any potential suitors be open to you about their social media use. It can be a vetting tool in some ways. Maybe create a fake profile that can be used to check out guys socials?

Yes, they exist and I have known, met and dated some (a guy can be HV but still not necessarily compatible with your life's goals) but I met them all in person. Have never done online dating. Be picky and cast your net wide.

Also those orgasm gap surveys never think to factor in the fact that there are women who fake orgasms in bed. If they're faking it in bed they're probably lying on the survey---all 40% of them.

Omg I was literally just thinking today about how much I hate the term "withholding sex". 😣 It implies the sex belongs to the man and you're snatching it away. Rather than the truth: he needs to prove himself in all areas of life to be WORTHY of sex from you. The sex on the 3rd date rule needs to be renamed the "Man needs to work hard to prove himself worthy of sex rule".
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/08/21 11:43 AM

I can't upvote this enough. "Honesty is the best policy" only applies to not lying to yourself ladies. Former oversharer here. A guy shouldnt be digging into your past. Stay elegantly in the present.
