During my single parent stage I wish I had thought of this. My daughter hated when I did her hair. I was awful. And this was before YouTube. I just tried and tried, but man it was bad. I see school pictures of her back then understand why she didn't like them. I'm sorry!!!

My thoughts are a bit biased from personal experience, but here goes... Men should have a say in all aspects of the unborn and born child. My ex had an abortions, even though we were actively trying to conceive. To this day I do not know why she chose to have an abortion afterwards. We don't. And honestly when I was going through that I was met with a lot of questions and resistance. Things have changed a lot since then, but still a long way to go. I think by using the term 'single parent' over mother or father.

Similar to my situation. My ex couldn't be bothered with my two kids. She moved 3 hours away to another town a few years ago. Sees them even less. Not that they want to see her. Shes a bad person, not just a bad mother.

Can relate. My ex did nothing around the house. I fed, bathed, dressed, changed the kids. Made the formula, washed all the bottles, laundry, etc. I dropped them off at daycare and picked then up. We split when the kids were 4 and 2. Got back together for a bit and split again for good when they were 4 and 6. Twelve years later kids want nothing to do with her.

Hmmm...I was 29 with a 3 year old and a 1 year old and has to change diapers in the mens room sinks because they didnt have change tables in the mens rooms in the early 2000's. (Their mother left us) Should have used that to get to the front of the line at the Beer Store...
