I've actually done it. Vagimony ended a few years ago, kids are grown, and my professional job was sent to the company's slave colony in the Philippines. So I sold the house at peak market and now the dog and I live in the wind out of the trailer I built myself and volunteer for the forest service and national parks.

My life book is Homer's Odyssey, and odysseus my role model. It's all about a man and his struggles, most of which come from different types of women he meets. Read it and you'll recognize skylka, kierke, kalypso... I'm particularly fond of when he meets kierke the witch who turns men to pigs, only to tell her he'll kill her after which they spend a long time in her "flawless need of love." I'm open to good book recommendations.

Went on to earn a classical literature undergrad--all the old books tell men to be weary of women.. Hi. Good question. Currently I carry 21 gallons in 3 portable containers. I use a water dispenser pump to run my sink for dishes and hands. I have another pump that runs the shower. I suspect I could go a week with two showers (3 gallons each) and normal hand washing, cooking, and drinking.. Having the portable containers, I just fill the empties when I'm out and about. Spent too many years in Albuquerque and it killed my desire to go south of the border. US citizens can still cross the border. BTW, us Walmart has 200 amp sealed deep cycle for $90.

That's right, brother. I had a nice house almost paid for, so that my adult kids had a nest to come home to. But they're busy and have moved across the country. It made no sense to keep it when all I did was live in the backyard. Sold the house at market highs and now I live for near free with an ever-changing scenery. Desert warmth in winter; rocky mountain cool in the summer. Bless the USA for having so much public land

College is worth it for personal enrichment. For a job, I would have been better off with a CDL rather than a big MBA. I tell all young guys too go into HVAC/refrigeration. Can't offshore that job and it's in high demand and growing.

You can drop a deep cycle 50% regularly. Lithium is nice but still 5x the price. Even with full discharge assumption on lithium that's 2.5x the price watt to watt. Hopefully the lithium will continue to come down in price

I'm pushing 50. Started life early and my kids are in their mid 20s. I'm always camping, even when I had a nice house. I'll do this until I decide to go back to paying rent and utilities to be in one place all the time, else when the kids put me in a home to die. I live in the desert (BLM) in the winter and mountains (forest service) in the summer. In USA you get 14 days before you have to roll 20 miles away. I've stayed in parks for $300/mo +/-, but being static defeats the purpose of having wheels on my rig.

Planet fitness is $20/mo for 10 showers per month, truck stops are $15 for a shower and they tend to be super clean and nice, outdoor solar shower-- Worst case is bucket bath. I plan to install an inside shower head at dinner point, but heat, water, solar, insulation, ventilation, and refrigeration installs have come first.

You can buy anything you want preconfigured down in Georgia. My last one had windows and such I had put in at the factory. This one is a blank shell that I'm fleshing out. Instead of windows I just put backup cameras on all quarters in case I felt the need to see outside at night.
