Use sunscreen of at least SPF 30 every day and reapply often. Sunscreen in makeup doesn't count. Bonus points if it's one with a PA++++ rating for UVA. Japanese sunscreens have excellent filters and cosmetic elegance. US sunscreens are generally subpar. Use tretinoin (Retin-A or Curology), or adapalene (Differin) if you want an OTC option.
