Keep this simple. He is not staying over and if he does you will call cops and make sure he is trespass for on the property. Then don’t discuss it again.

OP holy shit $7500 is crazy. Happy you are truly free now. Can I ask what percent of your income that was or how much monthly income you have? I’m considering pulling the trigger on divorce but I am a high earner and I’m assuming at that rate you were paying you are as well.

I think it’s so weird that these women expect you to casually converse about the bad things they gonna do to you. You gonna take half my 401k and I’m supposed to just laugh it off. Crazy

Don’t go back to that house if it gets bad during arguments. Also it’s not about finding love. A relationship or marriage is just a plus for your life. Find things that you love and enjoy doing. What hobbies or goals can you do that benefit who you are. I’m sorry to hear your wife cheated but most men look at their wives as their only best option and truth be told most women are shitty at best. Don’t be afraid of your future. When you feel you are ready, get out there and you may find more way b…

I’m going through this now. She don’t wanna pay the 3700 a month but she doesn’t want to leave so some judge will have to decide what happens and I’m sure to be fucked after it’s said and done.

Man I moved out this weekend as well and plan to file this week. I understand how you feel and I have a small baby I left with her as well and miss him dearly. Man she was attacking me verbally daily, calling me every name and saying I’m a bad father to people just for laughs. Trying to keep focused and not forget all the reasons I left.

Take a day trip to a place you have never been. Try all the food and site see. On the bright side you won’t have to cover everyone’s expenses this year.

If you make a lot, check the state law to see what the calculation could look like. In Florida you pay like $1300 up to $10,000 income then 5% on the remaining. When I looked at divorce I make 22k a month so 1300 plus 5% of 12k. Hope this made sense

You should have left 2 years ago then. However, this is a men’s space so politely exit. Respectfully of course.

Man I’m in the same situation. Hesitant to divorce as I make almost 16k a month on w2. It’s just hard to think how the courts can really fuck you on your own finances. My wife works is only difference I have to your situation. Do all you can to quietly make the situation work in your favor. Alimony should be your only concern. Most states have a cap on child support. For my state it’s like 1400 up to 10k gross plus 5% of any income after that. Check the state laws in your state.

This is my situation right now. Don’t wanna leave to abandon the house and kids which will negatively affect me. Mortgage in my name but marriage is dead man. I feel your pain. You just wanna leave and get away so you can start your new life. Hopefully some replies here can help us both.

I’m sorry you feel this way but I think you will do good to not think of her that way. You have to give someone else a chance to give you the same feeling as her new person is giving her. While I am a lot younger I used to deal with the same thing. Feeling sour that she may find someone else. As soon as you find and give a new person a real shot you won’t care about what she is doing.

Man I’m sorry to hear you are going though this. Get in therapy assp. I learned we can to try and look at the person for who they are and not they we are determined to see them.

The pain is what you make it. You are choosing to look at her in a way that makes her irreplaceable. Those people look at the divorce differently than you and that is why they did not support you like you wanted. We are men and must forge our own path forward. Hope you find your new person man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
