White Christmas The Holiday Last Holiday

Sounds like the husband would love to have the guy flirt with him instead lol.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/12/21 12:10 AM
46

From the husband saying he thought the guy was hot, I assumed he wanted to open up the idea of MFM threesome lol. It was a really weird overreaction on both of their parts when this guy probably just flirts with everyone just to get ahead, like others said.

Just don’t talk to them and ignore them like they ignored you. Their just not interested so move on. Simple as that.

It's really good with juicy behind the scenes info on a lot of drama, and she's a funny and entertaining narrator.

I'ts funny how only a few men in sitcoms like Ricky Ricardo, Gomez Addams and even Phil Dunphy, who cares for his family and works hard, are the few examples of non-idiotic husbands on tv. That's from the 1950's-2000's, so over like 3-4 generations and we still have so few examples of good men/husbands!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/01/21 06:06 AM

Yeah, I would think a six-pack is definitely not unhealthy for anyone. I hate this weird obsession with dad bods too. I want an attractive and fit man and I know now that I can't settle for less. He doesn't have to be a Thor or Captain America, but I would be happy with an Ant-Man or an Iron Man type of healthy body that still looks young or good in his age range. I would like him to grow into silver fox types but apparently, that is asking for too much for some of these men.

How the fuck did he have access to her birth certificate? Why isn’t it locked up? Women need to stop trusting men so much.

I'm the same, I wasted years on guys I was so-so on, and we would date for months because everyone told me to give them chances. It was just too exhausting and I realized I was leading them on and not at all happy with them.

Had to scroll to the very bottom to find this comment! Studio Ghibli is wonderful anime for girls/women to watch as its classy and has good moral stories. Think of it like a Japanese Dreamworks/Disney studio with feminist characters. Case Closed/Detective Conan is also good with its realistic characters and interesting human detective stories but other than that, I stay clear of anime apart from some Pokémon, Sailor Moon or Yu-gi-oh reruns if I’m feeling nostalgic.

Any career can be well paid if you focus on it and make sure you are valuable or putting in the proper work ethic. So just focus on what you want to do for a long term career and do it well.

Lol I wish straight men put half their energy into their looks/health like gay men did. We’d actually want to sleep with them more if that were the case.

Exactly, my family only mentions boyfriends coming if they are going to propose soon and in-laws ONLY come to family get togethers as fiances/spouses and nothing less. I'm surprised other families are more cavalier about the family holiday stuff. Other than that, my parents and siblings can meet them on a casual basis but no one else in the family would need to unless marriage is happening.

Women's bodies are not meant to give birth lying down: https://trimestertalk.com/10-reasons-give-birth-back/ Traditionally, most did it hunched over squatting, or sitting in a chair with a hole in the middle, or in waterbirth or however is most comfortable to get the baby out with the least amount of issues for both.

Great points, its a grey area but I think you nailed mine and a lot of other women's thoughts on this.

I agree. At this point, that is the best we can hope for and manage to get out men.

Yes, everyone is more than aware that that stereotype exists, and that it is gross and wrong, its one of its main problems of popular anime consumption. Sadly, I don't think that will go away anytime soon and thats why we are trying to focus on positive women centered or more interesting animes.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/12/20 07:28 PM

Lota of comments up above have mentioned lolita genre already, but this post is about getting away from all that sexualized weabo anime type of crap and to show that there are plenty of other quality genres in anime/manga.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/12/20 05:50 PM

Exactly, there are plenty of slice of life anime, appropriate children's anime and dark, sophisticated murder/horror, fantasy, sci-fi and even comedy animes. It's not just hentai (which means perverted), or shounen (which are focused on boys). https://manga.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_anime_genres Genres that would interest women here: Shōjo - Japanese for "young lady" or "little girl". These anime are generally targeted at girls. Examples: Fruits Basket or Mermaid Melody, Pichi Pichi Pitch Josei - …

Thank you, I love Case Closed, so this is a great list.

Sadly, to even enjoy any anime, I mostly stick with Studio Ghibli and have to dig deep to find more older anime movies. indie anime companies or lesser known shorter films or tv series who make more interesting animes.

Yeah, I think semi-regularly discussing the idea of marriage as a positive thing I think is good, but pushing to be married within 1-2 years after meeting is definitely a no.

Exactly, one year of dating, is absolutely not enough time for people to feel comfortable jumping into an engagement. I hope the mods can update the handbook on that.

I find her pop culture psych and dating advice so great for pick mes and recovering women who truly want to change for good but slowly. She rambles a bit but overall, I liked all of her videos. Then I listen to Sekmet She Owl for more radical, interesting views lol.

And made her have 4 or 5 sons through in vitro because he's obsessed with having sons. I'm not sure if Grimes naturally had a son or if that was planned too, since she talks about planning to have unprotected sex. Either way, she sounds like she will not have a good time as a mom, after that quote. That is not somebody who is excited to be a mother.

I love her Miss Anthropocene album but I hate him but I saw them on a live instagram thing and their just two people with Asperger's/Autism who love sci-fi and I think that's how they connected. She loves technology and music production and sci-fi/anime aesthetics for her music and he is the literal embodiment of the brilliant genius inventor who wants to colonize Mars.

Yeah its so confusing when you think about it. Why don't they want to learn about the vagina? Is is the blood from periods every month? I have seen a meme joke/phrase bandied about on the internet and its "Never trust anything that bleeds for a week and is still alive". I don't know where it comes from but I think it boils down to that. They are terrified of us and don't want to learn about our bodies and would rather lash out than learn about it. Why are they, and especially so many straight me…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/12/20 01:01 AM

Amazing point! I was the same way growing up and it turns out that I was always right about them as well.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/11/20 04:13 AM

But are they actually making you orgasm and genuinely pleasing you? If not, might as well get sex toys. Plus, the risk of these younger guys with STD's is probably high so it still just doesn't seem worth the time and energy at all to hook up casually.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/11/20 12:05 AM

And don't even have them on your phone or computer. There's no reason naked pics/videos of yourself need to be anywhere and great point on husband or boyfriend. He should be able to remember what you look like anyway.

I cured my acne with accutabe and do lotion and wear sunscreen when I'm out all day, so I do try to care for my face/skin definitely that but I rarely wear makeup. I just never cared for makeup at all. I only do it when I know its socially "required" for stuff like job interviews, dates and other holiday/wedding/bday occassions, etc. I just do the lip gloss or lipstick, with nuetrogena skin clearing oil free makeup on my face and with the plump up mascara on my eyelashes and that's all I will bo…

Ugh god makeup is so expensive, this is why I buy the cheaper stuff at target and I barely wear it, only for special occassions. I always hated the way it feels, especially when I had really oily, acne skin. I only put on light, natural makeup for dates anyway, why waste my time when there almost all pointless dates anyway. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah must be his moms or a shared bathroom with a sister. Growing up, I had to share the bathroom with my brother and sister, then eventually just my sister thankfully.

Very true, I just realized that the whole sexy image of even "powerful" women are still just performing thirst trap instagram pics and acting sexual in videos. Even women who are talking about serious issues in society or are advocating for their community, they still do that to a point, especially Megan, Miley, Gaga, Halsey, and others. I don'y think they realize it quite yet.

It's funny because a "hardcore" rapper like Megan Thee Stallion with a tough woman image/sound, wasn't believed when she was shot by a man for rejecting him and the same men who drool over her were the ones who didn't believe her and defended the shooter instead.

Honestly, I wouldn't mention it and let them live with it, but make sure to highlight how there are so many women reps and senators and judges and how one day, she may become president too or other women may too. That way, they see how everywhere in society, there are women at all levels of government and working all kinds of jobs.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/11/20 04:44 AM

Make sure to register to vote and vote in the midterm election for more women and progressive candidates. We NEED a majority in House and Senate and that is just as important as the president, even more so, because they can stop the president from getting ANYTHING done. Every vote matters, we were too close this last time and we got lucky. We cannot ever afford to lose a single vote until these mad people are out of office and out of the government.

Yes, its great for valentines day in an established relationship or for a one year anniversary picnic where he planned/brought everything. PLus, it should only be used in a monogamous relationship where he knows she would like it/wouldn't mind a picnic at all. That would be the only one where this is a good idea. It looks great in that pic, actually. Also, he probably told her to dress nice and he obviously dressed up as well.

And then they immediately hire a woman nanny to take care of their baby, because they don't want to take care of the kid.

Yeah there is no excuse, the way they talk about social issues/politics will reveal how they think about the issues. We need to openly discuss religion, politics and children and finances before even getting into a relationship with a guy. I think just some women want to stay blind to differences because they want to be in love and married. They choose to stay ignorantly bliss and then it hits them like a ton of bricks after something politically huge happens.

I'm sure plenty of men love women with ripped abs, but even still. Why even bother to comment at all, Richard? Like what kind of an idiot is confused by a person wanting abs? Their sexy on everybody.

This infuriated me. She was obviously raised learning English the English/British way being from a former British colony, plus speaks her own native language, I'm assuming. This idiot is probably not even aware of the differences between British and American English accents/pronunciation or slang words. Also, aren't hippos native to a lot of African countries, so she's probably pronouncing that word more correctly than him, as far as we know.

You literally described my life and my dating experiences or lack of, as well. I'm so glad I am not alone in this. I even dabble in forever alone women for a while but it eventually becomes too depressing so I leave it for a while. /r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/10/20 10:28 PM
17

Great point, that's how I feel about the only ex-boyfriend I had and I just say this guy I dated, since it was such a stupid long-distance relationship that I feel like it wasn't even a real relationship anyway. It ended after a year, so it was literally shorter than some jobs I had and even the time I spent in community college lol. I literally forget I even have an ex, honestly.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/10/20 10:27 PM

Damn, that sucks! I had a sushi date with a guy a a little over a year ago and he ghosted me so I ate dinner alone and went to hang with friends that night. Trumpists and republicans always vote down ballot republican which is why they often win while a lot of dems or undecided or other parties vote others which is not enough votes against a monolith republican machine so that is why we need to get as many people to vote in as many progressives and moderates as possible in every election, otherwise we end up exactly where we are right now with authorianism breathing down our necks. The president is just suppoded to execute policy, if we can get reasonable people back into office, the goal is to update our incredibly outdated voting and electoral system so that shit like this doesn't happen again. We need to get at least a reasonable group in to start pressuring them to update and fix policies otherwise, enjoy living under an autocratic dictatorship. our last option is to riot like the french rev…

I didnt learn this until well into adulthood that men see women as either partners or hookups. Women are raised to see all men as potential partners so we're confused when the men we want just string us along. We need to raise girls with knowing how guys act and think about us.

Start from the age of 6 I'd say! My female friend did martial arts from that age and was a beast winning against boys by age 12-13! She also played basketball and didnt take shit from guys because she knew how to fight and even shoot a gun. Every lady needs to know how to defend herself and shoot a gun or at least carry pepper spray. Like everyone's wholesome collages!

Exactly, DON"T EVEN TAKE THEM! They can easily be stolen. Also, it's always male models and gay/bi men who know how to actually look equally sexy in pictures as women because they are also looking at the overall aesthetic of it all. I don't understand how straight men have just become so lazy, it's honestly tragic. I find myself wistfully looking at the good male photos, wishing straight men put just as much effort into their photos.

Yeah the Ahole friend probably learned nothing. Why were all of these men not participating in adult conversations and didn't help with the (presumably) multi-step, home-cooked meal? They played video games while the submissive, Asian wife and grandma cooked a whole homecooked meal. It reinforced the stereotype and the husband didn't kick the asshole out of his place. The wife should have kicked him out and made the husband and his friends help clean up.

I always resented the fact that as a woman, I was suddenly supposed to care about wearing makeup in middle school. I still think its a waste of time and money. I wash my face everday, make sure my eyes aren't red with eye drops and have no eyebags and do my eyebrows and wear sunscreen but that's about it. The wh…

You can certainly end a relationship on good terms and mutually leave but to remain friends with them is questionable. Unless an ex comes out as gay, or there are kids involved, there is no reason to speak to them. Just quietly move on, like you are not friends with ex-coworkers, even if nothing went wrong. It's just pointless to try to maintain a friendship when your not together, because lingering feelings always come back.

The modern online dating has ruined dating and relationships in the western world. There used to be standards and rules more or less, but it all went out the window by the early-mid 2000's. Its just the complete wild west, basically and it happened at the same time as society became more casual in general.

Finally someone said it! Keeping busy with friends, work, exercise is fine for a time, but the trauma needs to be health with self-help therapy and with real therapy privately. Then we can truly be at peace. I know people who always keep busy like that but never actually addressed their problems.

Tinder and Grindr (gay version) are totally hook up apps but relationships can happen on there. Sites like Bumble, Coffee Meets Bagel, Plenty of Fish, Hinge, Farmers only, etc are supposed to be a bit more serious dating/relationship site, while match.com, and eharmony, etc are supposed to be even more serious, marriage-minded sites. But of course, all men treat them all like free hookup apps, as I have noticed.

Very interesting. It made me realize lesbians and gay men basically don't exist to each other. Other than coming together on gay rights and gay marriage, they do not speak to nor think of each other. Almost all eastern men assume all western women are easy lays and hope to profit off of it. Its how they were raised seeing western media depicting casual sex constantly and their culture telling them that. In most traditional patriarchal cultures, their own women are for marriage and children and they secretly or more quietly date if they do date. With foreign women, its seen as for fun and never serious unless really a rare marriage happens and often the in laws dont accept the wife.

Yeah, definitely, there is and we need to raise our children in a normal medium between childhood fantasy and "lib fem" sexual free for all. I remember reading about that! I wasn't sure if it was one of those writing exercises people keep talking about, but if real, I feel like I can't trust any man these days.

I'm the same, if I meet a guy who is HV and actually wants to pursue me then great! Otherwise, I have gone complete silence on dating in general since April, and deleted all of my dating apps.

I just saw another post earlier today about a lesbian talking about the homosexual urges of most straight men actually being more bisexual and that they are not actually attracted to women. It's also explains why most men think women do lesbian stuff together because they are so sexual with each other. Think about ancient Greece! https://www.reddit.com/r/FemaleDatingStrategy/comments/i0krkd/interesting_video_most_men_are_gayish/

Fascinating, thank you for sharing! I wonder how many more men would be openly gay/bi if we were not so against homosexuality.

honestly, same! Even meeting one guy with potential, I'm either bored of or I meet a HVM and he's already engaged/married and it's like where are you all meeting these HVM and dating 2-3 of of them at the same time? All I get in real life and OL are losers or guys who are not interested in me. It's been a relief not having to date and be able to focus entirely on my work/school, and just the thought of having to date and experience the same crap over and over again is exhausting just thinking ab…

I remember thinking Destiny's Child "Cater 2 U" was a huge pick me song as well. I thought it was weird because they had plenty of feminist songs for the most part.

I wish more men would go, even if they just did some self-help and truly fixed some issues, so maybe I'm searching for a unicorn. I was inspired by Jessica Simpson's husband after I read her autobiography, who seems really HVM and was the mentally healthiest man she had ever met. She was blown away by him, hope I can find the same type of guy.

Hitch is something I grew up on, so maybe its nostalgia but Will Smith and the woman he ends up with are a pretty different couple from typical romance movies. There are two couples in that movie. Will Smith is a dating coach who tries to help a fat white guy get the girl but that other relationship is very typical of most stupid fat guy and successful chick, but it plays different, I guess you would say? Kevin James plays a more successful, shy guy who's fat and needs help being confident. They…

I absolutely hate romance films now and corny lifetime shows and havent watched them in forever. They are partially to blame for our stupid socialization and mistakes in dating over the generations. The only good ones I still watch are Legally Blonde, Clueless, and Hitch because there's more to them.

Listen, he's probably already cheated on you twice and is gaslighting you so you doubt yourself. Plainly break up with him and move out if you live together. Say I don't think this is going to work out since your clearly cheating on me with Sally.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/07/20 10:43 PM

Yes but you don't need to watch it with them, that's grounds for child abuse. Just explain certain scenarios and explain in conversation why this or that is wrong in porn. Absolutely should not watch it together at all

Aw that sounds nice, yeah taking a nice walk under the stars can be really nice. Even in the morning, its nice to go when it is still cool and minimal people are out. Just feels fresher and more at peace. Maybe carry some mace on your evening walks, it would suck to have to stop those if thats your only time out.

Damn, that sucks, I'm sorry. Can you go before work before the sun is down? I also exercise in my backyard in evenings but I know some people don't have one. Is there a safe park near you that you can go to in the afternoons?

Absolutely the same way. I deleted my apps about two weeks into the pandemic and love that I have a legit excuse to completely ignore and forget about men for the next six months while keeping busy.

This is why I walk only in the mornings when all the friendly old people and other women walk. I will never chance an evening walk, even as a white woman in my quiet, safe and white neighborhood.

Ugh, I figured, I found the instagram live and interview of her and the director, and the director is clearly, a lost cool girl who made Anna into her self-insert and honestly, now I feel bad for Anna Kendricks. Ugh 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was disgusted but not surprised by that fact. I don't even want to give Anna Kendricks the benefit of the doubt and watch it. I feel like she tries to hard to be the cool, uncaring chick and I'm a white woman who used to be the same way so maybe I'm sensitive to it. I just feel bad for the creator/writer. I'm not sure this movie will help anyone, but I'm worried that it will only encourage LVM to get sex dolls and more pickmeishas will erroneously think this okay.

Taylor Swift - You Belong with Me and for a long time, she was and was also toxic as well dating guy after guy and always blaming them for it. He also starred in Hitch, alongside Will Smith. It was a good movie, it was on tv the other day. I liked how Will Smith tried to fix him even though it wasn't much. Agree, Dan Stephens was great in it, wished she had picked him but I think it was also commenting on the whole Russia denies LGBT existing situation. I hate how they force the boys and the girls into more traditional roles, with the girls always having to help mom with her home set up and the boys having to do stereotypical boy things. What if one of her sons wants to be an interior designer or a daughter wants to become the demolition lady like the Good Bones ladies or Bargain Mansion lady or one of those Flipping houses ladies? Oooohh lol sorry I was confused by who we were talking about. Yeah I felt the cousin assumed it was leading to marriage in their Egypt hotel flashback because thats her cultural expectation so no hate but she was obviously misled by fuckboy Ramy with his casual viewpoint. Then the night before the wedding I could see as a final fuck up before she ended it and put him in his place.

Same, I'm thankful that the pandemic gave me a life-saving excuse to not even speak or think about dating. Now that I only have work and class to focus on during this time, I am back to a mentally/emotionally and physically healthy place that I haven't been in over a year now. I want to maintain my mental and emotional health now, and have no interest in going back on dating sites once this is over.

Is this for long distance? I broke up with my first ex because I had zero patience for long distance relationships (it was across the country and time zones) and this was before I ever found FDS. If were meeting at a local location like a theater, concert, etc I don't mind driving myself, but it should be in between us or near both of us.

Same, and the last two guys I liked were just infatuations that I obsessed over when they told me to my face that they weren't interested. I don't even have the energy to talk to cute guys that are marriage material because I have been let down so many times when I learn that they are already engaged/married. It really seems like all of the good ones are gone by 29-30.

Ooooh I though the third darker screen was a third screen but its a side see through view of the big monitor thing that you turn the computers on with? Lol I had to zoom in, and it looks like the same thing of a darker type of monitor is on the guys side. So I think they both have two monitors/screens and one big see through machine that runs the computers. Honestly I love her screen background but thats too much extreme pink for me and the opposite guy/girl theme is so dumb.

Girl, you have been with him for 7 years and he doesn't want to have sex with you? Think long and hard about that and if you want that for the rest of your life. You deserve to be with a man who wants to have regular sex with you and is ready to commit after a period of time. Yes, Aspergers may be part of it, but he should have a sex drive too. Don't stay for the sunk cost fallacy, that's what traps a lot of people in unhappy relationships/marriages.

Exactly, I purposely only date men who grew up in my same American culture as me, family expectations and views of some of these cultures is just too extreme to ever make it work. They either abandon their culture or force the wife to change to their culture; look at Western women who have concerted to islam for their spouses and often become extremist because of it.

Great point, you and your spouse should have most things like values and lifestyles in common and don't pretend to be somebody different or give up your own interests for them. That being said, you don't have to have everything in common. This is why its so important to have friends outside of your relationship. Remember to maintain your hobbies, interest within reason, and take time to do your hobbies with friends or make that your private time where you recharge.

We think your not making a good decision and should actually vet this man more before introducing a man you arent even in a LTR with to your family. Think about how people in your real life with react when they hear he just takes care of a disabled mother but is somehow also able to be on vacation for weeks at time. It sounds very fishy to us.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/20 07:06 AM

How is he able to just hang out for weeks at a time while also being a carer? That's very red flag to us.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/20 07:04 AM

Very true! I haven't spoken to him since New Years day and I realized he never actually was a friend so I think its just me feeling lonely.

Hopefully, its worked out quickly and you can change it to a woman, but next time, make sure you say I only want a female OBGYN, no males, and that way they know not to give you a man. I think leaving it open as "I prefer females" makes them think a man is still okay when it may not be. I also only feel comfortable with women as well.

So he had told me to my face that he was single and in texts but then after I asked him what we were he said he was back with his girlfriend now and wasn't interested in a relationship with me, but he referred to her as his friend as well, but he was describing it as he had known her a long time and his family loved her and he didn't want to end it with her, which seemed like she was his girlfriend but he wasn't telling other girls that. I'm so sorry, girl but it sounds like he has this girlfriend near him as well. Sounds like he's two-timing you both but trying to not say it; like having his cake and eating it too. Don't waste anymore time on him since he's clearly rather spend time with that girl than you. The whole she cant find anyone else excuse is a fake one; don't be surprised if he ends up fully committing to her once you break it off. You deserve someone who is commited to you only. End it now and date someone who actua…

Don't paragraph / double text. If he's not into you, he won't bother talking to you or inviting you on a date. One LVM literally took his secret girlffriend on a date but refused to tell me thats where he was going. He told me he was single.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/02/20 10:22 PM

True, I know they expect sex but that's why I was suuuuper picky and only ever went on a real date with three guys on a dating app, but I hope more women can realize they can end a date for no reason other than to feel uncomfortable. From college to now, I've rarely dated and I'd say three of of the five first dates I had been on nothing ever came of it cuz of incompatibility.

Then years later, after achieving fame and fortune, he married Yoko Ono and was finally ready to be a dad and was at that point; a "woke" hippie with his new wife because that was the new counter-culture. His first son is rightfully bitter about having been ignored and abandoned by his father and his first wife just wanted to get out of a terrible situation to get peace…

I don't believe he's never gone out for Val' Day before unless he's an immigrant from a culture that doesn't celebrate it. I'm sure he's just hoping you will do a netflix and chill with him. Of course, my mom says I'm too picky and that I need to date on more my level 🙄 I can't have a life where I'm not physically attracted to my husband; I've worked too hard on myself to not deserve a bare level of mutual physical attraction.

Your probably just one of the "plates" hes spinning and at the last minute decided to go with you. Zara Philips, Princess Anne's daughter gave up her royal title to do equestrianism as a full time career and married a pro rugby player. True, I had a friends with benefits situation recently who turned out to be "benefitting" with all of his female friends. My dumbass self thought I was special but then I noticed he openly touches and hugs all of the women he's friends with and doesn't do relationships cuz he just wants to "focus on work/school". He is either sleeping with them or wants to sleep with them 90% of the time. OR, more rare, he is attracted to one girl in the group and ignores all the rest of the women, if its male/female friend group. I know this from the male friends I've had or from the guy friends who wanted to date me or were secretly or openly "in love" with other female friends in the friend group but would ignore the other women in the group.
