Is there a body part that you feel hyper self conscious about? If so, how have you managed to feel confident over time?I surrounded myself with radfems. Honest to god, just following radfem twitter accounts and interacting with those ladies. I would say interacting with the ladies in FDS is similar! Granted, I've noticed there is hyperfeminisation in FDS compared to standard radfem belief (no makeup, hairy legs, living neutrally and embracing it) but it is close enough. I don't know any other radfem communities atm but they helped me immensely. Anyway, my body part I was always self conscious about was under the… | /r/askFDS | 06/04/21 02:21 AM
Another dog went after my dog and it's proof men are trashIs there inherently a problem with these types of leashes? We own a couple for our dog. He is aggressive from fear since the vaccination schedule he was on wouldn't permit him going outdoors and socialising until a little too late into puphood. However, when any people approach, I immediately call him over to me where he stays by my leg, I shorten the leash as much as I can, and lock it. I haven't had problems with it but if there's anything I should be looking out for or making a mistake of.... | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/03/21 07:32 PM
I finally tossed out my Valentine's bouquet and after noticing that, my partner came over with a replacement bouquet - of my favourite colours! Always something bright to look forward to 💐definitely!! i always look forward to seasonal plants and love spring blooming flowers but i could not be upset receiving these when autumn palettes are my favourite as well : ) so cozy and warm | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/03/21 08:49 PM
I finally tossed out my Valentine's bouquet and after noticing that, my partner came over with a replacement bouquet - of my favourite colours! Always something bright to look forward to 💐good luck! i also heard adding sugar to the water helps, but have yet to try that. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/03/21 08:46 PM
I finally tossed out my Valentine's bouquet and after noticing that, my partner came over with a replacement bouquet - of my favourite colours! Always something bright to look forward to 💐yes ive heard of that because of the sugars in the soda which acts as food for them! you can also just stir sugar in. im not sure about pests as i haven't tried that method yet, but if you keep them in a cool area not only will they remain fresh for longer than they would warm, but it may help keep pests away as well. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/03/21 08:44 PM
I finally tossed out my Valentine's bouquet and after noticing that, my partner came over with a replacement bouquet - of my favourite colours! Always something bright to look forward to 💐Most bouquets I see come provided with flower food and they tell you to snip an inch off the end of the stems at an angle which both already should help. Otherwise, adding sugar (or I've also read even soda) which is like extra food for them helps, and cooler areas keep them fresher than warm. For my Valentine's flowers I tried a trick my brother's girlfriend does which is crushing an aspirin and mixing it with the water in addition to the provided plant food. My first ever bouquet lasted less t… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/03/21 06:14 PM
I finally tossed out my Valentine's bouquet and after noticing that, my partner came over with a replacement bouquet - of my favourite colours! Always something bright to look forward to 💐the picture is a little dark, but if you saw the red and yellow with your own eyes as well, it looks like a gorgeous red and gold combination! so elegant. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/03/21 05:40 PM
I finally tossed out my Valentine's bouquet and after noticing that, my partner came over with a replacement bouquet - of my favourite colours! Always something bright to look forward to 💐thank you! it's funny because i do not like the colours yellow and orange but when it comes to flowers they're my favourite! you can always catch me ooh'ing and ahh'ing over them 😊 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/03/21 02:35 PM
I finally tossed out my Valentine's bouquet and after noticing that, my partner came over with a replacement bouquet - of my favourite colours! Always something bright to look forward to 💐Yes! With flowers too, there is no excuse a man can use saying he "doesn't want to spend $50 on a bouquet that'll just die." There are cheap options that show thoughtfulness and effort just by going out of his way for you. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/03/21 02:22 PM
I finally tossed out my Valentine's bouquet and after noticing that, my partner came over with a replacement bouquet - of my favourite colours! Always something bright to look forward to 💐he always got me succulents or potted plants but as I've finally run out of grow lights and room, he tried out cut flowers and i ended up loving them! and so i learned something while talking care of them and while this isn't a dating strategy it's still some kind of strategy so ladies of you're interested in how I've kept my Valentine's bouquet kicking for this long.... crush an aspirin and mix it with the water containing your cut flowers. trust me. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/03/21 12:56 PM

Queens with healthy, successful relationships: where/how did you encounter your HVM?Oh, I got lucky. So I've dated men in the past. Never had a relationship last beyond 2 weeks, just not in me to feel romantic or sexual attraction to them beyond a crush. At 18, began dating women, loved it, and believed I was a lesbian w compulsory heterosexuality instilled in me. Years down, I was working as a server in a restaurant that was like my family. New kid starts working, we become friends. We hang out outside of work the first time that summer, we talked to each other and joked like … | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 10/03/21 07:29 PM
Things my suspected high quality man does.he sounds just like my guy. this was such a nice read, i know how wonderful it feels and im glad you found it too! my partner and i have known each other for 3 years, dating 2.5, and not a thing has changed. he somehow keeps showing me more and more love in different ways, keeps outdoing our anniversary dates and regular dates from the last one, even began apprenticing this year at a lucrative trade after which he mentioned MY dreams of moving to the PNW and running a homestead which he said he … | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/02/21 11:33 PM
I wonder what that means about the rest of them...i stopped shaving my legs january 2020 after being motivated by a radfem friend who explained that we should be allowed to live neutrally as men do. and it was sooo nerve wracking sometimes, my brother and mother picking on me all the time. summer came i was even more nervous but i kept at it and it felt SO freeing. i love my natural body, this is how i was born, i should be allowed to exist like this in peace. i havent gotten rude comments publicly yet (that ive heard of) but hopefully any youn… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/02/21 03:35 AM
How's your life/love life right now? What's on your mind these days?Partner lost his job for a while, found a much better one suited as a career, and my job cut my days down to 2 a week for a few months so we spent most of our time hiking more than usual, spent more time playing family and board games, and cooking more together (as our favourite quality time is spent dining out.) It was nice for us. I left my first adult job with benefits for a job in gardening which I picked up as a hobby due to quarantine and felt more in tune with that activity. My parents ha… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 17/02/21 03:48 AM
Yet another reminder why you vet men, so this won't be your future. It's way too common. No thanksAs if on vacation you should even be that messy and dirty. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/02/21 05:36 PM
Ever since I was a little girl, it was drilled into my brain that the Male Gaze is dangerous. Now that I'm an adult woman, I'm supposed to just "get over it"?Oh this post was made for me. I completely agree. This is one of the major issues in my life preventing me from doing as many things as I'd like. When I was growing up, actually, I did to myself what your mom did to you: I wore loose clothes, covered my body up. I was a tomboy too. I also was first catcalled at ten. I love working out weight lifting but over the years on and off I've had to repeatedly cancel gyms because I felt too anxious to go because I knew men were watching - some even came … | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 11/02/21 12:35 PM
FDS Fashion AdviceI remember being in high school it having been pounded into my head to be sexy!! I wore tight short dresses, thongs sticking out over my leggings, heels - wtf? The past couple years thanks to covid and radfeminism I just dress for comfort. Like OP, I dont want to dress to appeal to the male gaze. For me it is inherently traumatising and repulsive, the thought truly skeeves me out. I always still get catcalled even walking to work in an overcoat and sweats... I feel like as long as you're visibly… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 06/02/21 02:26 AM
Show them the same amount of respect they show you!I look back on my high school days and really wish I had this advice then. Being 27 now and finally being assertive is so liberating. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/02/21 12:39 PM
Is anyone else childfree because of misogyny & hatred towards mothers?I'm childfree because I just don't want children but also gave it thought that if i ever did want any, I couldn't bear birthing either a daughter or son - I know just how rough her life would be and I wouldn't want my son turning into an awful misogynistic person which in my experience is more common in men than not. Even if I adopted, it's the same scenario only better because I wouldn't be forcing another person into the world and again, suffer those consequences. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/01/21 11:29 PM
