If you believe feminism is actually a push for an egalitarian society, then yes. In practice, this is virtually never the case.

Evolutionary pressure is not about having lots of children, it's about passing on your genes for example, anything that increases the chance of your own children having children, will be selected for evolutionarily just as behaviors related to your own chances.

I dont know, I see guys getting pretty good advice most of the time. What you said tends to happen when some guy comes in with an utter trainwreck of a story where most other men would have bailed long ago.

But if your goal is to use women as tools for sexual pleasure, which a great many men wish to do, then, well... it just works If everybody's getting what they want, whats the big deal

I'm no expert in toilet-paper-condom dynamics but, I'd imagine it has to do with altering the friction of the object (paper ain't gonna stick to a pipe as easily as latex) and/or reducing the condoms ability to snag on something

It's a (validly) hyperbolic "fast track" to being a more alpha person. The reason for this is because being a doormat (the opposite of selfish) is absolutely anathema to all things alpha. However, you don't need to actually be selfish for this; Really, you just need to not be a doormat.

The legislating (or lack thereof) about contraception and similar topics is less about men vs women than it is a question of political idealogy. You'll find plenty of women against contraception and thinking of planned parenthood as The Devil Inc. if you go to the bible belt.

I'm too young (early 20s) to have enough experience to confidently state my opinion on the matter, but as I understand it: the idea about a woman not loving a man the way he expects her to comes from a man assuming a woman will love him the same way he loves her. It isn't that a woman cannot love a man "as much" as he loves her or any hierarchical ranking or some such nonsense; It's just that they love one another differently. Our "naive man" loves his woman in such a way that he goes to war for…

I can't understand a woman's perspective, but at least from my POV: if I'm going down on a lady, for example, part of why I enjoy it so much can surely be attributed to it making me feel good to make her feel good, but an equally substantial portion would be hot fucking damn does it turn me on to partake in that breakfast of champions If it didn't make me horny, I don't know if I'd enjoy it so much. I could probably feign enthusiasm, but it wouldn't be authentic
/r/TheRedPill24/02/14 05:26 PM

because the husband would feel it was inauthentic, detracting from the experience plus, sexual stuff is pretty much never good when the woman's lacking enthusiasm about it

I read it twice and followed the links. I cannot for the life of me follow what the fuck you're saying. It's light years too far into stream of consciousness territory. You've got too many commas and other line breaks that are just making it even more fucking confusing. MOST people are shit at describing the way they actually behave. I've got years of therapy that speaks to that, and I've learned from it and come away far more aware of who I am and why I act the way I do. If somebody was trying to persuade me about something, what I "actually think" doesn't mean, and shouldn't mean, a goddamn thing. What I DO and how I FEEL is all that matters; Words and logic, in the context of sexual strategy, are often meaningless.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/14 06:32 AM
0

It doesn't matter what they think, what matters is their actual reaction to a man's actions. The "rp truth" is that woman are horrible at being aware of and predicting their ACTUAL reactions to things due to ex post facto rationalization of decisions (now obviously this isn't exclusive to woman, but it is far more prevalent). If you go by what a woman "thinks" you should do, you'll get nowhere fast in seduction.

much of it is yes, the book talks about instincts as related to evolution from the perspective of many different animals, finally settling on homeo sapiens nearer the end, putting together everything else. It's a pretty fascinating read. The author has a PhD in zoology I believe. I don't think it's acceptable to just throw evo psych out the window without first trying to really understand it. Alright, for the sake of argument I'll concede to you that people can change their behavior sufficiently for it to mean something. Cultural norms are everywhere, you say, making certain behaviours more or less common. As far as I'm concerned, there is no reason for me to try and change a force as massive as culture, as my sole contribution is negligible in its momentum. Therefore, nothing changes. RP still says to act on the way things are, without much care for the way things "ough to be." Rega…

You're seriously asking that? I don't mean to be condescending, but I scarcely see how that even deserves a response. Why don't we just tell our pet cats to become vegetarians, I'm sure it will work. Or perhaps we should tell dogs that they are overpopulated and that they should abstain from random sex. Humans are animals. Animals have instincts, these are unchangeable in any reasonable timescale. One of the main points of TRP is dealing with the way life is, not the way it ought to be. The is/o…

/r/TheRedPill09/01/14 05:21 AM

I feel like I'm repeating myself now. For a ONS, the woman's actual feelings are way less important than what you actually yourself do to provoke particular actions and responses. However beyond that, yes, the way she feels is important, but it is NOT the end-all-be-all of the relationship, another common social narrative (happy wife happy life, yeah fuck that. It's important, but you should always place your own needs first).
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/14 08:28 PM
-1

I agree, but it still takes some time until I would say one has added any depth to a relationship. Regardless, this isn't some "okay, I know you enough time to give a shit about your feelings," it's a generalization obviously. But the idea remains true.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/14 08:11 PM
-1

obviously this stops being a good idea once depth is added to the relationship I never said that, I said they didn't matter until you started actually getting to know each other, but no sooner.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/14 08:01 PM
-1

Asking how she feels? Why should they care about how a woman says she feels? Like I said, the point is operating on the way things actually are; operating on the ACTIONS and RESPONSES of the women (or men) in question. You don't even need to interact with somebody to determine those. Just sit and people watch in a bar or something one night. What she actually says and what she thinks she feels are, at the superficial level of meeting new people and starting relationships, totally meaningless (ob…

one of the main points of TRP is unapologetic realism, contrary to the idealistic narrative much of a society actually pushes In other words; operating on the way things are, not the way things ought to be.

The "RP Way" isn't some narrow path guaranteed to take you to victory or something. To me, it's just a realistic and empirical view of the way society works. The fact that you're fretting about it so much makes you appear way too invested in this situation already. Sure, you could play games. Use seduction strategies or some such. If that's your style, go for it. My perspective? Do what you want, take what you want, and remain unapologetic. But, that isn't necessarily for everybody. Some like to…

So what the fuck do you actually want? I'm having a hard time discerning what the point of your post is. Are you asking if you can take things further with A? I don't know, can you? Don't worry about making the "correct" decisions, just do what the fuck you want man.

I'm a feminist by the (what is, in my opinion, most sensible) definition of equal OPPORTUNITY for all. Want to join the special forces? Sure, (pretend) it's not male exclusive, but good fucking luck passing the physical tests as a woman. Etc etc. Everybody needs to qualify the same way for everything, does that put one or the other sex at a disadvantage for some things? Sure. If you ask me, that's how it ought to be.
