I have said this already🤦. Even in traditional households, a woman doesn't have inherent respect. Mostly, the families are joint as well, so the work load is just as intense as that of the man(if not more). There is no respect in being seen as lesser than your partner She is expected to put everyone's needs before her own. So no one respects a woman who doesn't work either. This isn't an exclusive phenomena. No one respects a person who can't fend for themself.
