He wrote in German about very deep subjects and the translations are very clunky and densely arcane. I find the same thing with Jung. I find it easier and more enjoyable to listen to Jordan Peterson lecture on their writing than try to wade through the translated originals. I'm lazy that way, I guess. lmao
