I've never been much for the "privatize schools" argument, but I'm starting to come around. Public schools are completely unaccountable and since they're "free", most parents doesn't really care what goes on inside. When $10,000/yr in tuition is on the line, I bet parents pay a bit more attention to what's being taught.
