Some political causes I have been active in have been very male-oriented (a men's homeless shelter, for instance). What I am saying is that the OP's post seems as blanket as feminist posts that state that "all men are rapists" or the whole of the Western world is a "rape culture". You seem like the one of the most well-reasoned commenters and reflect my views perfectly. There are microcosms of society where "rape cultures" exist. We should try to change that. What the following rant was meant to convey is that rape culture exists in some places or situations. My own examples are rape culture existing which demonizes female rape victims, but that's because I am a girl. Obviously there are situations (see OP's comment about the HuffPost trivializing the rape of a 14 year old student) where a rape culture persists against male victims.
