This brings to mind the Affordable Care Act. When the mandate was applied men would be paying more in taxes to subsidize women's healthcare. I'm actually okay with that. It is better for society. However, I would expect at some point for Democrats to do something specifically to help men out. The ACA was passed in 2010. Now in 2025 they are like "Oh geez, this came out of nowhere. In a lot of contexts I would find this behavior grating, but in this situation I'm perfectly fine with it. Trump got abortion rights overturned and at the very least has sexually assaulted multiple women. Having a strong woman handily beating him down on the debate stage is good to get the base fired up.

This was probably 10 years ago. I'm sure with the repeal of Roe v Wade a lot of doctors are being way more cautious than they were before the repeal. However, this was in New York. The unplugging the shower drain is a big pet peeve of mine. I bought a thing to catch hair and put it in the shower and they won't even clean their constantly shedding hair off of that let alone snake a drain when it gets plugged. Men get made fun of for not being able to put their laundry in a hamper and their poor wife has to come along and pick up after them. It's definitely annoying but at least it won't flood the bathroom.

Yeah, that is really shitty of her, and it is totally a double standard in society. You should go down to the local PD where the complaint was likely filed and ask for a copy of the police report. You should be given a copy of it, and you may have to pay some minor fee. If they are actually investigating this they might not give you a copy because of the ongoing investigation. If that happens you will then have to turn to the Freedom of Information Act or get a lawyer to obtain a copy for you. I wouldn't have your ex write anything down until you have talked to a lawyer.

I would disagree. I think feminism is wrong about certain things, but I do not think feminists "at a fundamental level" know they have more rights than men and are wanting to oppress men. I don't believe this anymore than all the men oppress the women. I think feminists have made a lot of progress for equality, they have gone overboard in some areas so it is not equal, and are just wrong on some matters.

I post this a lot on here, but I looked up these same statistics for where I went to school, which was U of L. I found the school has 21,000 students, but I wasn't able to find out how many were male or female. If we assume 50% female then that is 10500, and over a 4 year period we would expect 2625 women raped. From 2010 - 2012 there was 1 reported forcible rape. So that is 1 in 10,500.
