Interesting, could you link to the stats?

I'm sorry your life has been so sheltered. There was a massive article from the perspective of the guy in that "both drunk, both initiated sex, guy gets kicked out of college" case just last month. I cant remember the name of it but its the one where the girl snuck back into the guy's room for sex she later claimed was non-consensual.

Well I read it in a similar thread to this last week, so not particularly. Yes. If he can cite that SPECIFIC claim directly (and not through dodgy RP inference) from a study that isnt fundamentally methodologically flawed or 50 years old then of course I'd concede it. But if such a study existed then we wouldnt be having this debate in the first place.

This is like talking to a brick wall. If a poor person has ONE SINGLE CHILD more than a rich person, the difference to average "maximum living descendants" is already vastly greater than all of the other causes of mortality that are worse for poor people put together (which make a few % difference at most) Lets do this with maths to illustrate: Lets say A rich person has a (rounded to) 100% chance of living to the age of childbearing. Lets say A poor person has a 95% chance of living to the age …

No, I know where he THINKS it comes from but the study he is thinking of doesnt make that specific claim.

Your continued mistake is you are looking at evolution on a non-evolutionary timescale. It doesnt matter how wealthy your great great great (100) grandfather was.

I'm telling you that my stack of peer-reviewed studies that show there is a huge variation in how women react to things that is largely the same span of reactions as how men react to things (so AWALT is false) trumps your bullshit anecdote collection.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 02:12 PM
1

Perhaps, but its not a semantic disagreement, I'm just objectively correct and you are wrong. Think about how evolution works. A variation within a population that produces more offspring over multiple generations eventually outcompetes an alternative that doesnt. The only criteria for "winning" is how many descendants (of all generations) the original variation produces. Whichever produces the most the fastest outcompetes. In the modern era very very few children die before reaching childrearin…

"Thrive" in an evolutionary context merely means breed and have many descendants. Having 10 poor kids is "thriving" vastly more than 2-3 rich ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 01:55 PM
1

For these purposes it certainly is. It means if you have 10 children the chances of one or more of them dying is around half of one percent.

The source doesnt support the 50% claim. It doesnt even MAKE it. As I pointed out above, your source claims 33% of rape reports to the police are subjectively believed by the reporting officer to be "very unlikely", "unlikely" or "somewhat unlikely". That doesnt in ANY WAY support the original claim that "50% of rape claims were proven impossible or very very unlikely" How can you claim otherwise? The number is different, the type of proof is different, and the standand of proof is different. It…

I editted my post above - see the new bit which eviscerates your earlier claim (IMO). There is neither sufficient proof nor a confession to come to definite, legally viable conclusions in most dubious cases. Doesn't mean they not dubious. A dubious case CANNOT be treated as a false report any more than it can be treated as a confirmed rape. You'd slaughter any BPer who treated all dubious cases as rapes, so why are you including them in "false rapes"?

Actually as it happens I have enough German to read it reasonably. Do you have a German source that supports 50% of rape claims being "impossible" to be true? If so its not the (horribly flawed) study in the USA I was thinking of. Post the link!

It entirely depends on the citation. I happen to know where it comes from and the methodology is attrocious and the conclusion therefore complete bullshit, and EVEN THEN doesnt support what you wrote, so in this case, as I already know the citation and know it doesnt support you, no.

I cant be bothered to look up that incident but there are no legal courtrooms in america where a claim of rape with no evidence other than the girl's word would hold up to a conviction. There are some fucking dumb college disciplinary boards though.

I don't agree. A cohesive friendship group (if you have one, they arent ubiquitous by any means) is defined by its own set of moral norms. In mine, cheating, gf or bf stealing, deliberately messing up someone's chances with a romantic interest, drunk driving, dating ex's and many other things are completely not ok, and would result in a) widespread callouts from everyone else in the group and b) in extremes (its happened once in 10 years), expulsion. I can see why this kind of group behaviour is…

Because we arent committed to the ludicrous notion of "AWALT", the fact that our experience directly confounds RP claims proves you are wrong. Even if half of all women acted as RP suggest (they dont, its around 20%, as shown in the many studies of sexual behaviour), RP is still wrong because "AWALT" being at the core of RP views requires at least the vast majority of women to conform to their expectation. To be right I dont need ALL women to act the way I'm describing, just enough that AWALT is…

of course this varies by state, but it's the number of presumed rapes that are reported to the police but are very unlikely (or outright impossibly) to be true. Cite this very specific claim.

Well your claim relies upon every single page view on Tumblr being a different person, each such person being a young woman, and each such young woman not having been exposed to feminism prior to that page view.

Yes I agree, but the false rapes numbers are only for reported rapes. So we are talking 8% of [percentage of rapes that are reported] of [0.6-0.7%].

is of all people in US (in a given time frame). No, its of women in a specific age bracket (18-24). It's 8-50% of reported rapes But as I've pointed out, not all or even most rapes are reported

/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/15 01:53 PM

Please cite these "studies". If its that old guy who wouldnt show his working (dataset or details of where it came from) and treated a policemen saying off the record "she was probably lying" as proof it was false, then admit that isnt science and cant be accepted as a "study", its just some guy and his police buddies' locker-room opinion.

"Entitled" in the context BP/feminism uses it means "wrongly feels like a woman owes him sex because of buying her drinks, being nice to her, listening to her feelings etc". Its a transactional view of sex that we reject on moral and consent-based grounds. By the metric of "evolutionary strategies". Evolutionary strategies are merely a measure of how many surviving decendants you have. In the modern world where poverty or crime does not preclude having children (and actually correlates with it), having more kids is always better from an evolutionary strategy perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/15 09:45 AM

We are talking about "going well between you and her until your friend steps in, shows off his alpha chops, and steals her attention". Not "She likes him but I like her so I'm pissed at him".
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/15 09:44 AM
3

Prison isnt relevant to evolutionary advantage. Being in prison for some of your life doesnt preclude having children, if anything I'd guess the opposite correlation. As for premature (defined as prior to having children) death? We are talking a TINY percentage, vastly outweighed by the greater number of children that poor people tend to have.

She points at the 7 cent residual unexplained gap and throws out a few suggestions that might explain it but has no studies to back that up. She also completely misses the point that most people on the left think a wage gap due to high pay requiring inflexible working conditions, aggressive negotiating tactics and so on is itself a bad thing.

What? The second link shows that stress eliminates the effects of testosterone, effectively levelling the playing field in high stress environments. Also your first link is pure pseudoscience. That's not how animals in the wild behave AT ALL. Here's the latest research: http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/resource/mammals/alstat/alpst.htm Labeling a high-ranking wolf alpha emphasizes its rank in a dominance hierarchy. However, in natural wolf packs, the alpha male or female are merely the breeding animals…

It's what we call a myth. We call it a myth because it doesn't exist. Google "wage gap myth" and you'll get a lot of results from reputable sources on this. Uh no. There has never been a reputable study that has fully statistically accounted for the wage gap by controlling for other factors. The closest things have come is controlling it down to ~8% and then "guessing" some things that "may" account for the remaining 8%, with no actual proof.

I dont see that follows in any way. I'm a man and I think its inherently weak to commit suicide. How could it not be? Suicide is an alternative to finding any other way out of your problems. If you cant find or wont accept any other way out (when there always is one), surely you ARE weak. Of course if the only other option is objectively worse than death (not just "hard"), then fair enough. But debilitating terminal illnesses aside, what fits in that category?

You cant even understand how a relationship with another person can be anything other than transactional. It really isnt, because the context changes everything. ...unless of course you view sex as a reward to be doled out by women to manipulate men into doing what you want... Oh wait forgot who I was talking to, never mind.

We are talking about women though. An overweight woman can still easily get laid.

3.A majority of women has had sex with one of the minority guys - moderately likely. Anything to support this? 4.A minority of the guys is desired by the majority of women - very likely. Anything to support this?

As long as they lie systemically (which they do) it doesnt matter - the trends still hold even if the numbers are off. PS: Men also lie.

Here is the full quote: that only 20 percent of the men (those considered to have the highest status) are having 80 percent of the sex, with only 20 percent of the women (those with the greatest sexual willingness); the remaining 80 percent, male and female, sit out the hookup dance altogether.

I've literally just explained that: The thing that makes it so objectionable in the sexual context is it treats sex as a transaction, which no-one outside of fairly fucked up red pill circles and prostitutes does. But I'll expand. Sex isnt transactional for people who aren't sociopaths or prostitutes. Therefore your feeling of being entitled to sex is not based on any actual entitlement. The other person didn't accept your "niceness" as a transactional payment for which they will repay you in "s…

NO-ONE, literally NO-ONE, is arguing against the dynamic of feeling owed somethign in a general sense. It is 100% about context.... The thing that makes it so objectionable in the sexual context is it treats sex as a transaction, which no-one outside of fairly fucked up red pill circles and prostitutes does.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 05:35 PM

Why do you keep saying this? The part of sexual entitlement that is objectionable is the sexual context, not the "idea of feeling owed something". "Switching it up" is changing the subject to something totally irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 05:33 PM

What would be the "right" model of sexuality, if that model is "wrong"? I'm not critical of your sexuality, I'm critical of your relationship with sex.

Data that could be useful for questions like "how do people think they'll behave in these situations" or "what do people find socially acceptable when it comes to dating and sex". Not what people actually do though. This is just plain wrong as anyone with even an interested layman's understanding of social psychology would recognise. You can glean an enormous amount of information on what people do from what people say they do, because any biases in reporting tend to be systematic.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 05:29 PM

Most people are not angry at women generally (or rejectors specifically) for their own lack of sex. The guys that are tend to be shitty human beings.

So you would also agree that no one owes anyone any kind of default respect? What does respect have to do with what we are discussing?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 05:23 PM

You cant "take it out of the sexual sphere" because it is the very fact that people feel entitled IN THE SEXUAL SPHERE that makes it wrong. No-one is seriously claiming its wrong to feel entitled to anything. How would contracts work? Its feeling entitled to SEX that is wrong. Generally when people shorthand with "you are acting entitled" they mean "you are acting entitled in a context where you are not and could not be entitled."
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 05:20 PM

Wouldn't having a contract justify your entitlement? You would be entitled because you have a contract. Thats literally what I said. I've spent the last year and a half working part-time for someone without any contract to do so. Half of my jobs in the past have involved no contract. Wrong. You have an unwritten contract with a hell of a lot of implied terms. In this case he would be wholly innocent because he didnt commit the act (non-consensual sex) required for a crime to be found. No, it entirely depends on context. It may or may not be a crime. I'm certainly not saying "if you are married you are deemed to have consented". I'm saying "if that kind of thing comes within the behaviours both of you consider acceptable, and you know (or reasonably believe) that, then its fine". For full on sex, usually context requires having at least talked about it before hand ("would you like it if...?"). BP tend not to see sex as transactional. The idea of "owing" someone sex is suspect, and doing so without that being your express intention is entirely abhorrant. RP tend to think of most women as mobile, self-heating cum recepticles, so its not a huge surprise that you dont understand the objections to a transactional view of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 02:16 PM

The reason we dislike entitlement is you cant feel entitled to something FROM another person unless you also feel they OWE you that thing, they are corrolaries. /r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 02:14 PM

You've injected the word "owed" there, which makes you now correct, but is not what you originally quoted. "expecting something" and "feeling owed something" are very different. I expect it not to rain tomorrow, I'm not going to be suing anyone if it does.

I also don't believe "feeling one deserves" and "feeling entitled to" are the same thing. Most people would agree with the idea "No one is entitled to sex", but who would say "No one deserves sex"? That would be harsh. THis is a false distinction. They are the same thing. IF its purely about being a good person then thats feeling entitled to some level of cosmic fairness, or reciprocal karma. I've never ever seen a guy say he is entitled to sex Anyone who is angry at a girl, women generally or indeed anyone other than himself as a result of his lack of sex is essentially "saying he is entitled to sex". Why else be angry?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 02:07 PM

Please explain to me a context in which a man feels external anger following rejection of sexual intimacy by a woman which is not caused by entitlement in the man. Genuinely curious, because to me, the only possible cause of that anger (as opposed to disappointment, sadness, indifference, amusement or even internal anger (anger at oneself)) is a belief he deserves (aka is entitled to) sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/15 02:05 PM
5

If someone does not get X and as a result feels anger, that can only be because that person feels entitled to X, either as a reward for effort put in, because of a belief in cosmic "fairness", or due to some kind of trade. Otherwise why be angry?

Entitlement: What the word actually means: The correct usage of the word “entitlement” in context of engendered discussion should be more correctly used to describe a situation in which someone has expended no effort, but expresses a displeased disposition in regards to his or her results, lack there-of, or other people’s behavior towards it. This couldnt be more wrong. There is no amount of "effort" that entitles you to sex with a specific girl. Thinking that entitlement has anything to do with…

SMV is literally how arousing you are. For most BP people this is a tiny subset of what makes people worthwhile. Perhaps even entirely independent of worth. Friendship with people of both genders (common for most BPers) is not based AT ALL on SMV for BPers (oddly though, it does seem to be for same-sex friendships for RPers and women who live similar lifestyles to RP men). What makes someone worthwhile? I think this is a subjective question and generally will reflect what the answerer values or …

The reason friend-zoning as a term is objectionable is it sounds like its something the object of your affections does to you. When in fact its a thing that happens due to your own lack of honesty or lack of self-respect and they are often completely unaware.

Friendzoning can only come from lack of honesty and/or self-respect on the side of the guy (the person being friendzoned, it actually could be the girl too). Its literally impossible for it to happen to someone who is honest and self-respecting.

No, it pretty much 100% copes with high libedo. It doesnt cope with lack of intimacy, lack of domination of others (power), lack of validation etc, so if a person primarily or exclusively gets those things from sex, and has a strong need for them, then masturbation doesnt cut it. But that has nothing to do with libedo and most healthy people dont need sex for power or validation.

Feminism's view is that if a woman "consents" to an unequal relationship dynamic with the man as head of the household this simply implies she has internalised misogyny and is being coerced, whether she realises it or not. There is no branch of feminism that thinks a relationship in which the woman is treated as "the most responsible teenager" in the house is a healthy or acceptable dynamic. What you are saying is not a feminist perspective on this topic, mainstream or otherwise.

Seems to be a semantic difference between us. I'm not so sure. One guy is angry, the other guy isnt. They look the same externally but their experience, what its like to be them, is very different. Demonstrations of Sadness and Fear also hint at impotence. Fear is a reaction to perceived present future impotence. Anger is a reaction to perceived past impotence. I'm not sure Sadness qualifies. Sadness is more driven by regret than anything.

...the other doesnt need to exercise control to hide his anger because he hasn't allowed the event to phase him. Anger is impotence. The two are the same thing. Mainstream feminism today is the belief that legal equality isn't sufficient to prevent the residue of society's old and long-established misogyny and discrimination from allowing women a level playing field and equality of opportunity. Its the view that social change is also needed.

I'm not saying you personally have done so, I'm saying the attitude you are describing as the Red Pill approach to LMR is an incredibly reckless one.

Anger is the emotion of pathetic, impotent, ineffective people. Think back over your life to the people who were genuinely the most angry all the time - pathetic pityworthy wankers, one and all I guarantee it. Effective people dont get angry, they let it go if it isnt important and if it is? They get even.

When you think about the implications of what you are saying, you seem to believe that men are incapable of not hurting women as its in their nature. lol

Rage is impotence. People with properly integrated consciousness, self aware and who are in touch with their own emotions dont get angry often, particularly not irrationally. People who are in control dont get angry. Laid back people are the best. Angry people are tiresome to be around.

When things go well its due to you "getting your alpha back" When things dont go well it due to "not being alpha enough yet". What situation or circumstances would qualify as evidence against this belief?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/15 08:40 PM
8

No they wouldnt. RP itself freely full admits alphas dont make good LTR partners. Women who understand and believe RP would override their physical attraction to alphas and find a good 20% alpha/ 80% beta hybrid instead. Just look to RPW for evidence of this. Women would also work to keep their N count as low as possible, ruling out casual sex. True alphas would end up either committing rape, suicide, or learning beta traits to get sex.

There have been many studies of rapists that show the vast majority believe that their victim consents (aka "wants it"), even when violence is used. Marriage would cease to exist. Casual sex would practically cease to exist. Any woman who took part it in would be shunned. Rape would skyrocket. Poverty rates, child deaths, abortion rate and suicide rate would leap to unseen heights.

The chances that a randomly picked man will be a "better leader" than a randomly picked woman are barely more than even odds. A few % at most. Thats what makes this presumption so silly. There are few to no mental traits where the difference between an average man and woman is greater than about 5%. There are certainly none where it makes sense to presume the man is better without further enquiry.

I think people can be conditioned to more or less anything. There are people who feel unloved, anxious and unhappy when NOT in an abusive relationship. I think arbitrarily assigning leadership and control based on gender is ludicrous. A C/FM relationship is damaging because it trains the FM to think of herself as a subordinate, lesser. A supporting act to her husbands main event. For me this is clearly bad a) for her mental health and self-esteem, b) for the quality of decision making of the family as a whole, c) for their children's norms. I do see social conservatism as inherently and objectively bad (and misogynistic, homophobic and racist, retrograde in most measurable fashions) though so YMMV.

RPers are largely fantastists. I'm not aware of any RP men in an actual classical RP relationship at all. All the RP guys in decent relationships only selectively apply RP teachings (e.g. nomdeplume) and are actually fairly emotionally available, perhaps even more than an average guy.

Narcissism and NPD are different things though. Narcissism is a state of mind, NPD is a pathological disorder characterised by an extreme form of that state of mind. I guess the difference between us is that you see your pre-existing relationship with your wife, with you providing more support than you received and he expecting you to be a rock but not providing the same to you, as something inherent in your genders, whereas I think it is inherent in one or both of your personalities or your relationship. We're not interested in what's good or bad. We're interested in what's good or bad for us. What impact does a SJW protest in some far off city you dont live in have on you personally? If none, then your above statement doesnt explain why there are so many TRP threads discussing this kind of thing.

And here's the problem - you're conflating "(potentially) discomforting" with "creepy". Maybe it's an ESL problem for me, but I would rather use adjectives as "intrusive", "impolite", "disrespecting", "brash" and what not I'm not conflating them, I've clearly defined creepy as "inappropriate boundary crossing". I'll refine that: "deliberate action that inappropriatey cross interpersonal boundaries". Intrusive and creepy are practically synonyms, with the only difference being that creepy implies…

It really isnt. Its saying a woman with a 7/10 is less likely to cheat even with a 8, 9 or 10/10 than a woman with a 4/10 is likely to cheat with other 4/10s, 3/10s, 5/10s etc. Basically its showing that hyperagamy only applies until you are dating an above average man.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/15 12:00 PM
2

Men are just as hyperagamous, the only difference is what criteria constitute "hyper" women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/15 11:59 AM
2

How about you read the study. Essentially, if 5.5/10 is an average looking man a woman with a 6 or a 7 wont cheat, even with a 9 or a 10, while a woman with a 4 will cheat, even with a 3.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/15 11:58 AM
2

No. Read the study. Its like this: Women, when paired with an below average attractiveness male, will be tempted to cheat with any man (even one less attractive than her pair). And women, when paired with an attractive male, will not be tempted to cheat with any man (even one more attractive than her pair).

Women who don't cheat, don't cheat because they already have the best. Usually when women do cheat, it's because they found a better male, or a male that makes them feel things they value someplace else (a guy who's more alpha, charming, the guy at work that makes her feel like a 20'something hottie again, etc). Men tend to "cheat" by simply not defining the relationship and doing whatever they want because they can, so you have situations where, let's say a 10/10 guy is hooking up with an 8.5/1…

I've seen those studies, which also showed that the single strongest correlation with female infidelity is whether their partner is meeting their emotional needs. With men? Whether or not their sexual needs are being met at home, the excitement of a new vagina is enough to mean they cheat regardless. The majority of cheating husbands report that their relationship is happy and they are content with it. They cheat ANYWAY.

Two reasons: Almost all red pillers are conservative, very few exceptions. The thing I find doubtful about Red Pillers who claimed pre-red pill they were BP and "conventional wisdom" on relationships didnt work for them, is that most of you are very clearly conservative, and quite strongly so, whereas all of what I consider "conventional relationship wisdom" is actually very liberal (talk about your feelings, relationship counselling, express love/appreciation in words, talk about where relationship is going etc). Would you rather live in a world where rape is rare because: (i) women carry bear spray, travel in packs, dont drink and dont go out late at night; or (ii) everyone is better educated about rape so predatory people who are the kind that will eventually cross the line and rape someone (rape is NEVER an isolated event) get identified and called out or even arrested much earlier (or change their ways long before they slip down the slope to rape)? Studies have shown that its almost CERTAIN that the guys who DID rape her had done lots of other sketchy, grey area things in the months/years prior to and after the rape. People dont just do 1 rape then go back to being reasonable, consent-seeking adults. Its because we tend to come from different backgrounds. Red pillers skew conservative, southern/rural/smalltown USA OR from conservative cultures outside the US (e.g. indian) Blue pillers skew liberal cities, US but also Europe. We figuratively do live on different planets.

Your "Reality" answer is actually true only for a subset that AT MOST is around half of all people. The whole point of blue pill is it focuses on BOTH a moral position (it is wrong to lie, abuse, use, manipulate, exploit), AND finding a solution that is consistent with the moral position. Even if that means we rule out the 50% of people for whom Red pill "reality" applies, thats FINE, because we literally dont want to be with those kinds of people anyway.

There's an irritating issue - whenever new Google Forms responses are outputted in to the "raw responses" tab, they are added through inserting new rows. Because of this, my cross references on the "Results" tab intended to pick up new responses have their reference increased by one (for example, if the next blank row on the raw responses page is row G, when a new response is inserted into row G, all cross references to row G become cross references to row H). Creepyness is deeply misunderstood by TRP generally (although perhaps not you, taken from this comment?) For most TRPers "creepy" is just another way of saying "unattractive but still trying to engage with a girl". They dont get it as an independant concept (and in fact, its this lack of undertstanding that contributes to their own creepyness). Your reference to autism is spot on. Autism and creepyness go hand in hand, and here's why: Creepyness simply means "inappropriately crosses boundaries".…

This OP hints at another thing TRP gets wrong about alphas. True alphas are not dicks to betas or women. Being a dick to betas or women is a beta thing to do. Its saying "I'm not secure in my alpha status so I need to attempt to lower your status to shore up my own". Anyone actually genuinely confident in their own position doesnt need to put down others, in the same way that a true leader doesnt need to constantly re-assert dominance.

This is just wrong. Regardless of status, certain behaviour is creepy. Status only impacts how the woman reacts to that creepyness. If they are sufficiently high status SOME women are willing to overlook the creepyness. Creepyness is about inappropriately disrespecting personal boundaries and social cues to back off. Fundamentally, while it may be hubris on my part to suggest my (and my partners') personal qualities (including, obviously, the ability to identify long term compatibility) will lead to our marriage succeeding, it may also be rationalisation (of the faltering of your marriage) on yours to suggest that personal qualities are not enough. It would be interesting to see some widespread studies of why some marriages succeed and others fail (causation, not just correlation). Out of intere…

Charity isnt a sufficient solution. A Charity doesnt have an obligation to care for people, it does so voluntarily. That's not sufficient to safefguard the lives of every child in this situation - it would be inevitable that some would slip through the cracks, even if there was sufficient charity funding available (there isnt now, even with state and father supporting, so you live in lalaland if you think there miraculously will be in your minarchist utopia). First of creepy is usually just another word for unattractive. No it isn't, and the only people who claim this are unrepentant creepy people. A common TRP belief is that slut-shaming is mostly done by women. Men only do it because they know it's a good way to get under a woman's skin, kinda like the male version of "you must have a small dick". I tend to think this is true in my experience, but I dunno. Alimony is barely ever awarded when there are no kids and the marriage is only a few years old, and is now typically cut off after a short period of time in which the receiving partner is expected to become self-sufficient. If your wife wasnt dependant on you in the first place, she wouldnt be entitled to alimony. If you marry beneath you rather than an equal, you've got noone to blame but yourself. My wife earns a high salary (as do I) and there is no fucking way I want to be married to a SAHM,…

Experience isn't a number, its qualitative. Variety is one of the most important elements, and a lot of the benefits of experience are taught by the other partner. You arent going to learn anything new after the first few times, fucking the same person 100 times. Someone who has sex 100 times with one single person is going to have the same amount of experience as someone who has sex one time each with 100 different people. This is simply false. In any case, performance is largely function of en…

There was a thread on here about a week ago asking people what their ideal SO would have as a number of previous partners. Your "ctrl f" comments are pathetically semantic. There are an infinite number of synonyms I just picked one. You are of course right that the word "bad" is not inherently moral, but I didnt say that. I said the statement "X is bad", without any further context, IS a moral statement. And that is correct. HHL is angry at sluts. If not moral outrage or misogyny, then why? She doesnt have a dog in the fight.

In what sense is "harem" the appropriate description of that situation, as opposed to FWBs or just plain being single? What you are describing is incredibly common and doesnt in any way relate to the origins of the term, which was very much about exclusivity (the harem was literally the area of the palace where only women, eunuchs and the Shah could go - i.e. just 1 dick).

Its not a harem unless they are monogamous to you and aware of each other. You are just describing being single and sleeping around with a few semi-regular FWBs, which I agree is really not that hard and is extremely common. Your FWBs were probably sleeping with other guys too. A harem is impressive because it is unequal. The man is not monogamous but the women are, and they nevertheless accept it. In essence, they are saying that a small share of his SMV is worth all of their SMV. That's why it…

No, I'm sorry - if you genuinely dont believe in any generally applicable moral normative force (not necessarily objective, it could be cultural), i.e. "ought" or "should" statements dont carry any weight, then it is entirely contradictory to cast what is inherently a moral judgement on promiscuous women. A lot of people in this thread are confusing a correlative statistical aversion (e.g. "more likely to get divorced or have isssues") with an INTRINSIC lack of value. I've not seen any good arguments for the latter but a lot of TRPers act as if it is the case.

None of this demonstrates that "men dont like sluts". Thats not the logical conclusions of "women with greater prior sexual experience are more likely to get divorced". There are many far more plausible explanations. If men didnt like promiscuous they would actually be less likely to divorce because men wouldnt marry them in the first place except for truly exceptional situations.

The girl can testify, wtf are you talking about? The problem is the level of proof is "beyond a reasonable doubt", and if the guy says "no, she was really into it and kept begging me to fuck her" and there is no other evidence then thats a very reasonable doubt, thus most prosecutors will not proceed unless there is more evidence than just the testimony of the girl (e.g. signs of a struggle, other witnesses, date-rape drugs, etc)

"Blackout drunk" is a meaningless term that the courts dont use. Lack of memory is an evidentiary issue, not one that goes to consent. Most, in fact the VAST MAJORITY of all crimes of all kinds require an investigation of the internal monologue/perception of either the criminal (i.e. mens rea) or the victim. Saying that leaves it flawed just demonstrates a lack of understanding of the law. The presumption always seems to be that the too drunkenness or lack of consent was TOTALLY and completely transparent and obvious to the likely also drunk man No. In jurisdictions with consent-based rape laws the test is as follows: Did the d…

Your memory isnt relevant except as evidence of how drunk you were. If you are too drunk to consent you didnt consent, it doesnt matter what you remember or dont.

THis is a basic misunderstanding of consent laws. Yes, you are still responsible FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS. But you are not responsible for the ACTION OF THE PERSON WHO RAPED YOU. Under English law, the "level" of intoxication at which one cannot consent has been explained as "the level of intoxication at which, if both parties were so intoxicated, the sexual act would not have occured". This also neatly resolves the "but were they both raping each other????" strawman/troll.

Its not masculinity per se, its a largely social construct that it is masculine not to outwardly display vulnerability or emotion, even to your closest friends. I'm not sure this would hold up as a biologically evolved trait, as context-appropriately demonstrating vulnerability is one of the single greatest loyalty-inspiring leadership techniques there is (so much so that particularly good management and leadership education talks explicitly about it).

Incels are unattractive, unpleasant, low value men with awful social skills. That's all there is to it. If you are an incel and want to get laid, stop trying to get laid and start trying to be a better person.

Because its fundamentally objectifying. Its treating someone based on imaginary idealised characteristics and not for who they really are. It reduces them to a figment of the beholder's imagination. And then there's the unhealthiness of a position that is routed in imaginary non-reality, and the inevitable consequences when reality fails to live up to the ideal.

What you are describing is not reletavism. Relativism is rejection of the existance of objective reality.

I love that you use kinkster and queer as an insult. Like being gay or sexually experimenting makes you less of a person.

Oh comeon, everyone here must be able to admit that the MRAs are just a bunch of very very bitter (sometimes understandably) women hating cry babies. Surely no-one legitimately contends otherwise?

CXJ you've repeatedly told us in PPD that you are a bad person, your friends are mostly bad people, Red Pill plate spinning has made you unhappy and empty, and you want to be a better person. You've already made the BP argument for us better than we ever could. You have already turned to the light side, its just a matter of time before you cast RP aside completely.

Um... MistressNatelie is a RPW not a BPer!

I love following these chains where you get schooled in basic debate but refuse to concede.

Haha irony. You are calling him a hater as an attempt to dismiss his argument. That is a CLASSIC ad hominem fallacy.

You are one of the worst offenders and here you are, proving his point.

Your description of blue pill is utterly ridiculous. BP isnt factually relative (and I'm not sure anyone really is outside of some obscure philosophy grads and stoners) nor morally absolutist. You are making a classic red pill classification error - black and white are the only options you see. Red pill is a factual absolutist position which assumes all human beings of each sex behave functionally identically in given circumstances. Blue pill is simply a non-absolutist position that this is bull…

...yes I agree but why is it Blue Pill? BP doesnt encourage the kind of one-sided, controlling, jealousy-driven bullshit that he is intimating, its radically against it. BP = egalitarian, not female controlled.

That's all BDSM.

Dead bedroom isnt fixed by a un-turned on woman lubing up and letting the guy go to town while sobbing quietly into her pillow and anyone who thinks it is is fucked in the head. Red pill claims to be all about taking responsibility and realising stuff like dead bedroom is actually in the man's hands to change, and yet there is still a strong undercurrent of blaming (solely) the woman for it and even "well she wont give me sex so FUCK HER in every other possible respect". Now if we are in a long …

Non-violent sexual coercion is a very common thing in relationships. Whether or not its illegal (it often isnt), it's skuzzy as fuck.

I think you can judge an ideology (or "set of principles/observations" or whatever you want to call TRP) by the behaviour and views of the majority of its followers.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/14 03:18 PM

Yes, and objecting to concentration camps is a moral objection as well, what's your point? You think "moral" is a dirty word?

I think female dominant relationships contain the seeds of their own destruction Your only evidence for this is you own bias. Blood will always tell You sound like a harry potter villain

Then why are you here?

The difference is, TRP cherrypicks specific posts on a specific sub (population, a few thousand) as representative of either "feminism" (population, a few million) or even women as a whole (population ~3.5 bn) Whereas TBP cherrypicks specific posts from TRP (population, a few thousand) as representative of TRP (THE SAME POPULATION).

Presumably you are ok with any future women you meet being told a full list of your crimes against previous women?

Tell that to the dozens of red pills calling them freaks in this thread.

If red pill were truly just an amoral sexual strategy, then it would never make statements like this a sexual strategy that is clearly working. This is a moral judgement.

You dont encorporate any BDSM with your partner? Pretty much everyone I know does, even if its just blindfolds and silk ties or spanking.

Basically they are saying women who are turned on by forceful sex and spanking, actually want to be raped and beaten. Basically they are awful humans.
