That might be a good start? Social skills are like any other skills, you don't go from 0 to 100 overnight. You have to practice, I know it's trickier with ASD but not impossible. There's usually groups that share same hobbies where you can meet people. If you're unable to work maybe volunteering? Bit less pressure to be on time etc. since you're not getting paid

Are you friends with any women? Learn to be friends with women before trying to seduce them

Money helps in the courting process. Women won't be attracted to you for money if you don't treat them any differently than you did when you didn't have money.

What are these "great signs" she was giving you? Not all women use online dating, not even close. I have made the first move a couple of times and the first relationship was decent, the other one was a disaster.

If you’re going to “college” and studying a “nerdy” degree you will find girls doing that too. Unless you’re going to a crap college.

Because I’m a woman and I care more about women than I care about some dude who can’t get laid because he reeks too much of desperation.

Going after women organically for relationships is one thing. Using them for sex only is another. If OP just wants sex then it makes sense for him to keep doing what he’s doing. Most women aren’t going to want casual sex unless the guy is extremely good looking.

If you want women just for sex then this is probably the right way. At least you’re not manipulating anyone into sleeping with you like some men do.

I’m the toxic one when I play with my bf. Oops… fortunately, he doesn’t play excessively and neither do I. Even though I get a bit competitive we always have a good time together. I actually did include my TFT rank on my dating profile (it wasn’t very big at the time and I was pleased to be diamond) but he had no idea what it was anyway, so I ended up coaching him in the game and it was a great shared interest over lockdown.

Sadly, he was quite good looking and last time I checked climbed like V11 (we mostly boulder in my circles) 😂 but I think he doesn’t train so hard now since moving for work. Of course, I know that now, even if I do sometimes get salty about my lack of reach… in fact I took it as a personal challenge.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/04/22 06:50 PM

Ah I think I know that guy 😂 He thought he was so cool and badass, when I wanted to try climbing with him, he told me I’m too small to be good at it and I’m going to ruin my little hands (being good at something is the most important). His gf after me was a better climber than him and that wasn’t good for his ego so of course he came back to me to complain about her.

My people didn’t colonise anything, fuck off. I’m not scottish or british, don’t assume things about me. So your argument is basically, BIPOC can decide anything is racist and they’re always right. Okay… if that makes me racist then so be it, seems like as a white person you can never win. My country was actually historically oppressed and occupied by other white people and we have nothing to do with the Americans or what British people did.

I didn’t say it’s the only explanation, I’m well aware they are taking more precautions and therefore infections are going down. In the meantime hetero people are getting more reckless, and HIV is not the only issue. There’s really no need for you to be so hostile and insult me and make assumptions. In regard to your racist comment, Accents are not a matter of race. People can’t just decide based on someone’s colour that they can’t understand what they’re saying. That’s not what I’m saying at all, yikes, you’re so defensive it’s sad. I’m only criticising your maths, unfortunately lots of people from all kinds of communities engage in too much risky sex. Im all for encouraging everyone to practice safer sex. Let me give you an example of why it matters, in terms of just maths. Let’s say we have 600 new hetero cases cases and 400 new gay cases in a given year. But in that particular city there are 600,000 total hetero people and 40,000 gay people. Even though you have 60% of new diagnoses coming from hetero people, it’s still only 1% of all hetero people whereas within the gay population, despite absolute numbers being lower, it’s 10% of all the gay people. Therefore any gay person is more likely tha…

Im a doctor. I’m not saying heterosexuals shouldn’t worry, I definitely think they should and there is definitely a high probably of getting HIV from heterosexual unprotected sex. I’m just saying the way you’re presenting stats is misleading. I’m using dog whistles? Wtf are you on about, what does that even mean. The population size matters when it comes to the maths - when you say that the percentage of heterosexuals with HIV is higher than lgbt, which is the wording you used initially even tho…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/03/22 05:33 PM
1

Okay, that’s percentage of new diagnoses, not percentage of heterosexual vs gay who currently have HIV (the latter of which is still higher). If you consider that there are lots more heterosexual people, the proportion of the population within each group who are having a new HIV diagnosis is still higher in MSM. You don’t seem to understand statistics. News outlets are notorious for misusing statistical data to fit their narrative.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/03/22 09:27 AM
2

That’s the one I’m referring when I said the number of new cases is higher. The person I replied to said percentage of heterosexuals who currently have HIV is higher than lgbtq individuals, which I know can’t be true.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/22 08:15 PM
29

Really, do you have stats for that? I thought it was just the number of new cases that was higher, but that’s a bogus stat considering there are way more Herero people than lgbtq. Also the risk of transmission is lower per encounter with PIV sex than anal sex, but I guess more hetero people doing anal nowadays too. In London the gay community still have tons of unprotected sex and sex parties and a high percentage are HIV + as a result. Their main form of protection is PrEP which unfortunately d…

I think that's kind of manipulative to offer something but then expect someone to say no if they're "polite" Imo. I dont want a diamond either and wouldn't feel good about wearing one, but if it matters to her then he should know. It's about the disproportionate spending on himself, him being selfish and not equally generous with her. My partner is pretty frugal but he actually spends more money on me than himself, and I respect that. If you're so "practical" it should apply more to your spending on yourself than the people you love. This guy loves himself more and she's convenient and an additional source …

Anyone who calls themselves a gamer is cringe and a hard no. Having said that, I do enjoy gaming for (up to) a few hours a week myself. I find it mentally stimulating and a good way to socialise with friends who are far away. So I wouldnt mind a guy who games to the same extent I do, so it doesn't bleed into important areas of his life like seems to be the case for some "gamers". Yeah I've had plenty of jobs. These views don't reflect most women out in the real world. Most of the guys who are worried about gold diggers have no gold to dig lol. Nice nice you're not dumb but you base your view of the world on some tiktoks you've seen hahaha. Controversy gets views didn't you know? Men also manipulate women, there are shitty people of both genders. It's up to us to recognise them and pick the right ones for us. If a guy is being pressured to marry he shouldn't be in that relationship in the first place because their goals are incompatible. But a lot of guys lead women on and keep promising marriage while moving the goalpost instead of ad…

Wtf even is MSM. No one sold me a fantasy, it's literally the life I've seen play out in my family 😂 my mother out earning my father only until recently and still doing all he work at home on top of it AND managing his family relations on his behalf. I'm surprised they are still together.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 07:10 AM
2

Yeah I admit I didn't look through it in that much detail, but it's the reality that a lot of women experience. You have to take into account the emotional impact of being the person responsible for managing the household and having ultimate responsibility for the children's wellbeing. That stuff doesn't make it into the data. Work outside of the home means you can switch off at the end of your work day and properly relax.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 06:40 AM
7

Yeah that's true, there has to be compromise on both their parts to some degree. It's also to do with respect and sometimes when women try to communicate their expectations with their partners the men just ignore it and keep doing their own thing, or change their behaviour temporarily when she's mad and then go back to their old ways. That's also very tiring and frustrating to deal with.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 06:36 AM
13

Yeah of course, the psychological burden is a huge one because even when your spouse is doing the physical work and putting in the hours, you can't truly relax if you're the assumed "manager" of the household. The frustration that comes from tasks being completed inadequately is sometimes not worth it over just doing it yourself. This is super true in my family (everything you mentioned), and personally unless I'm with a man who defies this status quo I would rather not have children.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 06:06 AM

The university educated women I know are mostly against marriage. This is not the same for the men. I'm sure this attitude varies across economic classes, can only speak for myself and the people I know. Men still benefit from marriage the most in terms of well being so it's ironic you think men are being forced into it against their will.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 05:55 AM

They're still doing more household work and childcare, that report literally says those things 😂 also that men spent more time doing leisure activities instead..
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 05:48 AM

Make marriage more appealing to women. There is data that shows married women have a decreased life span, whereas for men it has the opposite effect. Women are opting out because they end up with way more responsibilities and stress. I think men need to change their attitudes and do more of the household chores and childcare. My mother worked full time, earning the same if not better wage than my father and the majority of the household work and looking after me still fell on her. That's a reall…

Chances are they learned that behaviour somewhere, likely at home. My dad is a scrote who believes in 50/50. I've never seen it as such, it doesn't take meeting many Frenchmen to come to that realisation. I've also read recently some bad stuff about consent law in France, about children being raped and the law in France not protecting them. Men on reddit are literally the worst. It's the same argument every time, you try to tell them plenty of ugly guys with great personalities get girlfriends, but they don't care cause that's not him so hell just keep saying only the top 10% get all the girls 🤦‍♀️ ofc the whole time they're talking about casual sex - they want to be that mythical guy who puts in zero effort but still gets laid. Jokes on them, those guys usually put a lot of effort into lookin the part at least.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/03/21 07:22 AM

Nah I don't think the two are that closely related. I get that people at first might be more drawn to someone attractive and like them just for that but a lot of good looking dudes are hugely narcissistic/self - centered.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 11:05 PM

The weirdly specific excuses are just symptoms of the core issue with these men. Ugly guys do get girls if their personality is great. Problem is most dudes on reddit don't want to admit their personality is lacking, blaming it on looks is much easier to cry about.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 09:09 PM

I didn't say that's why they're sexless, just that the stuff men follow on social media makes men off-putting to women in general. Ugly Betty is not content with ugly Billy because ugly Billy can't even get an erection. He's been jerking off 5 times a day to shemale dwarf porn for too many years and can't get aroused to normal stimuli.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 01:07 PM

Yeah and use of social media makes men more and more unappealing. It's so off-putting to meet a guy and then see he follows like 20+ titty models on insta. Yuck, I lose all respect for them.

If there are no suitable candidates then surely that's a good thing. I think there are still good men out there though, you just have to know how to recognise them. Yeah I think it's more valuable to help women realise they don't need to settle for someone shitty because they can live their life in a fulfilling way without a man. It's not about doing anything in your power to bag the man you want, instead it's about learning ways to filter out the men that will just bring you down and make you miserable. No one should base their goals around pleasing someone else.

This always happens. They do it on purpose to make you feel bad I swear. My ex immediately did all the things I was upset with him for not doing (rs status on Facebook, changing his profile pic from being a matching one with another girls, posting pics with me). He did this all publically where previously all his posts were private and only visible by friends, because I had unfriended him to avoid seeing all this stuff.

True, I totally agree with you, and thanks for pointing out that he's thrown out more than one excuse. He did say he's open to it if it's important to me but that doesn't feel good enough. Im not particularly keen to go back to dating during covid times so I suppose that plays into wanting to stay for now. I'm just focusing on finishing my course and everything else is on the sidelines.

Yeah that is weird.. Did he say he wants kids with her though? Or just generally? We are living together, just because in the UK lockdown is never-ending and it didn't make sense to expose ourselves by travelling more. And seems like he very well knows what he wants and has always wanted a family but has some weird belief that it makes no difference whether you're married or just in a long term relationship and that being together is still commitment. I think he's got it all wrong, and still wan…

Don't worry he's not just a room mate - the reason I brought it up is that its rather common for guys to seek out a woman to marry so she can be the one to look after the house and do his household chores for him. He's more than self sufficient and not looking for a "bangmaid" forever girlfriend type fiasco. He does have great qualities to his character - particularly that he really listens and takes concerns on board and is never defensive. I've found that a really rare quality in men. Even in …

Thanks a lot. Deep down I know this is also the case, and the desire to be with someone who is enthusiastic about marrying me is what's tearing me apart here. I am a romantic at heart and while he gave the impression of being what I'm looking for at the start, it turns out he's practically minded to a fault. He isn't exactly dithering - he straight up asked me what a realistic timeline for me to have children would be given my career goals, because he doesn't want to be an old dad and it's impor…

I'm a bit torn with my current partner. He seems to be very high value in general and I think he's be a great husband and father but we had some discussions and he also mentioned he doesn't "believe" in marriage. I thought his reasons were strange and let it go to see how things go (he's from Singapore and people there get married just so they can get a house from the government, which he hates..). But then one of his friends brought up that he was dating to get married. We talked about it some …

Depends on the field I suppose. Either way I was just saying that's why someone who is 30-35 is not necessarily "settling", they might just have been working on other things in their life. Im not doing a PhD personally but my degree is longer than others and as someone from a working class background, financial security is one of the many reasons for doing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/21 07:37 AM
3

Yeah, Im sure some of them do, maybe because they want to spend time with their kids but even men drop out of medicine because it's not an easy career. Lots of doctors get burnt out regardless of gender. Ive met plenty of female doctors with kids who are consultants and still going strong.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 01:07 PM
3

Not sure who you hang around with but I know plenty of women who have used their degrees to follow through on their career goals. That's why more and more women don't have kids until they're around 30, they want to feel financially stable and not dependant on men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 12:54 PM
17

Right, sure, wanting to provide a comfortable life for your children is just awful.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 09:14 AM

People who take long degrees at university/do a PhD or whatever and focus on their careers often don't start dating to get married until they're 30 and they realise they're running out of time. Getting married at 35 isn't necessarily desperation if you've got other things in your life that are important.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 09:08 AM
17

That's not true. Guys who actually on themselves, work hard and do well in their careers have more options at 35 than 25. Also there are plenty of guys who prefer a woman their own age.

Your expectation of finding a virgin at your age is unrealistic and frankly quite mysoginistic. I doubt your being a "beta" has anything to do with your lack of success with women and everything to do with your outdated views about women's sexuality.

Same for me. I've had older friends buy me drinks/food when we go out, no matter if male or female, they just cared about me and knew I was broke and didn't expect anything in return. They wanted me to be able to spend time with them. So if I'm dating a guy and he doesn't do the same (food and drinks are the minimum tbh) it's just not worth it. I'm looking forward to graduating and being able to treat my friends in the same way they have me.

I can't imagine going without sex more than 2-3 weeks unless there are extenuating circumstances like illness or being physically away from each other. If we were regularly going without for more than 3 weeks at a time I'd start to seriously question things. Once a week is the absolute minimum for me. Ideally once a day/every other day.

It's about having matching values. A woman with a low N count will not agree with the values of a high N count man, when it comes to how they perceive sex and relationships. High N count in men is a massive turn-off, even if they're extremely attractive and charismatic.

Well women still suffer and die because of what nature forced on us, we can't get away from that until there's technology that allows babies to be made outside of the womb. A lot of guys wants casual sex but it just isn't worth it to most of us. I think many of the women who claim to enjoy casual sex have low self esteem and use it as a way to feel better about themselves. The advantage for women exists from the biological fact that men are less selective when seeking sexual partners 🤷‍♀️

Lots of men nowadays have porn addiction issues and wank over having sex with their wife cause they can't get it up for the real thing anymore.

Yeah of course, you're right, if there is a situation where a man is working more than the woman then it's totally reasonable that the woman does more of the housework. But it's quite common nowadays that both partners work full time and the women still do the majority of housework and childcare. I thought we were talking about just paying for dates earlier, not the entirety of the relationship.

I'm not complaining, just giving you my reasoning. I accept that both men and women have their own struggles, what struggles of men are you talking about that justify not equally contributing to housework? I gave many examples to back up the fact men and women still aren't equal and therefore men getting riled up over splitting the bill baffles me. I think there are more important things men could be doing to promote equality than complaining about being nice to a girl by paying for the date. Co…

He might still be trying to gauge whether the interest is mutual. You could try to make it really obvious you like him but don't ask him out and see if he does anything about it. You're the one giving him mixed signals by acting "whatever" when he talks to you. Guys meet women all the time who have zero interest in them and if he feels like he has zero chance then he most likely wont take the risk.

Is there any problem with coming off as cold? You don't exist to please other people. Do what is good for you and if that means acting cold towards people you think you might crush on, so be it! You don't need to acknowledge them, just go about your business, you don't owe them any attention. The only way to avoid these situations is to spend less time around the person and stop yourself from fantasising about them.

He seems receptive to cutting her off if it's what I wanted and was asking me what I want him to do. I didn't want to react to it right away without having some time to think about it and getting a second opinion:)

A guy I've been dating for a few weeks recently admitted he's still in contact with his ex of 8 years. I got a bit thrown off by it and didn't know how to react. He said they text every now and again about TV shows and she calls him once a week - apparently she suffers from a lot of anxiety and is very alone/doesn't have friends so he feels bad not answering her. He said he didn't want to hide anything like this and if I am uncomfortable with it that I should let him know. He called her his best…

Same thing happened to me. The guy that asked turned out to be very immature and insecure and would ask me weird questions about my past in relation to my number as well. I now take it as a huge red flag is someone brings it up.

I think because people in these professions are so highly involved in their careers, they prefer to date within the profession so that one partner doesn't get bitter about the lack of time dedicated to the relationship. Other doctors for example would be more understanding about their partner needing to suddenly leave or take a phone call because they're on - call.

Uhm stop putting words in my mouth - I said I care about a guy having career ambitions (NOT that they give me their money) because I do as well and I don't want to be the one providing for a man. I was with a guy for 5 years who graduated and then couldn't be arsed to find a job for over a year. I totally lost respect and all my attraction for him in the end. I also wouldn't date someone who inherited their wealth - in fact I lost interest in a guy who was openly using his dad's money to pay for…

I never said money is all I care about. Above all I look for a man I have interests in common with, but that's not what this thread is about. Making ad hominen attacks totally ruins the point of having debates. You're making assumptions and attacking me personally to try to make a point. What is it with people on reddit not being able to have a mutual discussion? The more important part is being generous, caring, ambitious and not lazy. Why do guys get so bitter about "gold-digging" exactly? Why is being attracted to generosity so much worse than being attracted to guys with abs let's say? Biologically it makes sense for a woman to find a man with resources to be more sexually attractive. Having a good career often comes with many positive personality traits as well.

Uhh I mean FDS was literally never about penis (which honestly is very easy to get, sorry femcels)... It's about finding a partner for a healthy and fulfilling long-term relationship. Women generally don't look for casual hookups same way that men do, unless they have unresolved trauma or self-esteem issues IMO.

Yeah when someone makes me feel crazy, I know now that it's a huge red flag. People who do things that make you feel justifiably jealous and then gaslight you are the worst partners.

Do you ever properly listen to people or just talk talk talk? It might help to work on self-improvement in the context of your social skills and being a bit more in tune with the other person because I find it bizarre your friends are blowing you off even on special occasions. I doubt it's because they only have time for their significant other or for random dates. Work on making yourself more rewarding/enjoyable to be around and you will have more people wanting to spend time with you.

That's right. So dating someone better off automatically makes someone a whore? I don't get the logic. A girl who splits the bill is essentially just a cheaper, lesser quality whore if you just see dates as a transaction.

I have plenty of options so why wouldn't I go for the guy who is generous and keen to pay for me? If I had limited dating options maybe I'd settle to split but if a guy has a full time well paid job while I'm broke and still studying, I wouldn't be able to date someone wanting to go out all the time and expecting to split. I do feel a bit weird about it but I figure it's because I've learned to put others needs ahead of mine and I'm trying to change this.

I'm diagnosed with ADHD but in the UK people are very sceptical about it being a real thing so I reluctantly tell anyone about it since I don't have to explain myself. I haven't disclosed it to my current partner as I don't think it causes relationship issues per se moreso my daily life activities. I tend to mention that "it runs in my family" and leave it at then for them to figure if it applies to me. My last boyfriend used it against me a lot.

I wouldn't date someone who isn't in a good career, but not because I need the money - I want to be in a relationship with someone who is as driven and hard-working as me, otherwise it leads to resentment within the relationship. So it think it can still be important to Western women just not for the reasons guys assume it to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/20 09:58 AM

How is it hoe-ish? Not having sex with you is hoe-ish, right, interesting logic.. They might find you attractive enough to sleep with but not see you as someone who is serious about a relationship with them, because of the reasons I mentioned.

They might've felt disappointed you were taking them on cheap dates considering you could afford more expensive ones. I think if a guy turned out to be skimping on courting me I'd find it a huge turnoff, because it would seem that he's not really trying to impress me. Maybe it's nothing to do with the money/apartment and you're just bad in bed?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 12:38 AM

Don't focus too much on your physical type. It can always change, and it is possible to find someone attractive based on their personality as well and then you might end up being more attracted to them physically. Personality is what makes someone high value. If there is a way he is behaving that puts you off that's kind of another matter. I'm willing to date a guy as long as he's physically fit even if he's not my "type". Hard to figure out what we like if we always stick to the same thing:)

I think there are a lot of amazing Asian men who don't get attention the deserve because of negative stereotypes and lack of portrayal in popular media. I haven't been married, but this also happened when I ended my last relationship. I was constantly unhappy, expressing why and expecting him to change his behaviour. After this went on for too long without enough effort on his part I just ended it and he apparently wans't expecting it at all. It seems to me like women pursuing guys is just an absolute no-go because it creates this exact situation. Where the guy is just in the relationship because he may as well, it's easy sex and not too much effort on his part. So many of these modern ideas around dating cause women to put themselves in a situation where they're taken for granted.

It's not. Two of the three guys I dated for any considerable amount of time didn't watch porn. I'm white, he's Singaporean and a fellow Singaporean friend informed me that because of how they're brought up to respect women above all else, guys often end up taking things very slow and being afraid to make any moves in fear of being accused of something unsavoury (apparently since sexual assault/rape is easily punishable there without too much solid evidence).

Would recommend dating guys of Eastern European origin. They generally have a huge ego around this kind of thing since both men and women there find it unthinkable for the woman to pay. All Eastern European guys I've dated insisted on covering all the costs of dates for me even in my pickme days of offering to split:) Culture is still highly "misogynistic" some would say but I don't find it to be like that in a negative way.
