This 100%. We need to teach our daughters that a man's attention is not some huge prize worth winning. We do not compare ourselves and judge eachother because of the way men see us/perceive us. Fuck the "cool girl" notion and we certainly need to stop competing with eachother. We need to support one another, protect one another, and build ourselves up as a whole. We are equals and we need to better learn and grow from one another. We are no better than our weakest link and it's important that we…

We need to be teaching our daughters that they don't need a man to have real security. Having an HVM is absolutely a plus in a partner but she can be taught that security comes with being vigilant and how to properly protect herself. Plenty of women in the world that have dudes with zero security and this is a lie we tell ourselves as women, like following the herd. You wanting a protector is 100% ideal but that comes with characteristics in an individual and personality traits, which does not c…

Being raised by a single mother, strong female role model, I can definitely stand by women as also providing security. I'm female and my partner is female. We both provide very well monitarily for our household and have a number of different forms of protection (baseball bat, taser, mace) as well as surveillance and really good alarm system. A security door to my condo as well as am not on the ground floor. The condo building main entrance is also always locked unless you yourself live in my bui…

The video is quite difficult to watch so I won't post it. But to see it and then read 30 more comments like these from incels just acknowledging their misogyny and agression/violence towards women was so incredibly upsetting.

I once overheard a discussion between to older men where one was saying how he wanted head from his wife but never got it, it was always just vanilla sex instead. He continued to complain because sex was already too much work, foreplay and having to get her off as well. He was openly honest about how he just wanted endless blow jobs from her, without having to do anything else ever. It stuck with me since then. Men only care about themselves, their needs over anyone else's.

I was thinking this poor girl is so young and naive and here she is only a year younger than me. Wtf, nah sis, I cant even believe this. No sympathy from me. She needs to remove the trash from her life ASAP.

He is a closeted gay man. It's quite sad because he has a fetish for ladyboys. These are real people, men that idolize women and most intend on becoming them, some are just gay men. I'm a gay woman, men sexualize and fetisch lesbians all the time, it's exactly the same thing and yes this issue is totally related to porn. The irony here is that this man probably goes around explaining how he is straight but really fantisizes about feminine men with "feminine" penises (whatever the fuck that means…

This chick just seems like a narcissist. As a gay girl this video just upset me. All of her exhibits were lame points. Talking about who would pay for the tab, how fucking cheap are you? When it's two women, why is even who pays a fucking point to make? Receiving end of a wedding joke? She says herself she was guilty of making similar small talk, I dont get why she took that so seriously. And then 3rd, promise of kisses? Maybe you came in and said some stupid fucking shit and suddenly chemistry …

I'm a technician, worked for the last 6 years on vehicles but most recently have moved up to automation/robotics and mechanical (machinery). Let me tell you how so many times women came to me directly with questions, asking for help or advice, countless times daily. I was the only female Volvo tech at my workplace and we did self service so we didn't have any advisors. I would get two questions, 1. They would choose to ask me over the male techs just to avoid being judged or taken advantage of a…

So much talent in this beautiful woman, it saddens me the things men think they know is best for their partners, when they have no clue. Article states her lungs were filled with fluid and her lips were blue from lack of oxygen, day prior to her death. Why didn't he immediately take her to the emergency room? Because he apparantly had paranoia over paparazzi, as if being sick would destroy her career. Really? Well he failed because now she is sadly no longer with us. And just months after, he di…

I think that majority of women really take care of themselves in appearance and they come in all sizes and shapes. I think that men have too much audacity sometimes. For instance, I knew of a guy that worked out regularly, shaved and just kept himself looking neat. He had a muscular build, was balding, not the best teeth but ok and just looked overall average. But just because men have a nice body, doesn't mean shit. He had the audacity to tell his now ex girlfriend, "you're more flabby than fit…

I had a coworker, we have remained good friends. He knows I'm into girls so sometimes he has guy banter with me. He explained that he was at a party that his wife was invited to, pretty much all of her female colleagues. Then he proceeds to say, "well there were no hot girls, these women were all 30 +." I look at him and go, "bitch I'm 30 plus! Fuck you. Also, nobody wants your balding, pale, fugly ass anyway. You think you're walking in there WITH YOUR WIFE and expect some eye candy to be waiti…

This notion needs to be plastered all over, honestly. I read a comment on this sub a few weeks back that blew my mind. The post was a tweet about how so many cultures are so focused on not having a gay son, but do nothing about a pedophile, rapist or abuser/manipulator. And the top comment was that as soon as a man can be potentially treated like a woman, then that's when societies care most and fear.

It's funny how the guy in OP's post tries to justify Bateman's characters behavior, but let's all be real. In the movie, the wife leaves him and adopts the baby on her own. The point is that there are consequences to his actions. If he is not ready to "play house" with a woman and adopt a kid and is so easily swayed into this confused distopia of, where did MY youth go...? Then bye Felicia! So fucking fragile, that's why his character is non-existant to the end plot. The guy in OP's post is just…

Or more so, "I liked you better when I could manipulate you easier, felt that you weren't as independent, were more insecure with yourself, when you put up with more of my LVM shit, all of this because you were so destracted by your depression".

Hahaha I wrote about this on another post. I love this sub because it's the perfect place for individual growth as a woman and so much support. I'm also wlw and find myself still being codependent and crossing boundaries I shouldn't. Most women are just hard wired to have a specific love language and it's so important to communicate. Otherwise I'll misinterpret and analyze and then feel insecure. A lot of the problem I think is me.

I totally agree that patriarchy sets you up for a bunch of fears at a young age. But for myself, I also date women. I've come to realize that I'm just codependent. Some of us are hardwired to be vulnerable and end up losing ourselves in our relationships. Even if it's women I'm dating, I'm equally caught feeling alone or taken for granted even when I'm the one making sacrifices. I'm also part of the problem.

This will only go so long. Maybe you're still young now but at some point you will feel as though the clock is ticking and it will be more and more difficult to get pregnant into your mid 30's, up until the point where a few years later it will just be physically impossible. There's of course still options after that like adoption. But my point is, don't settle. It's your body, your life, your right. I was with someone for ten years that didn't wany children. I told myself I'll be OK without car…

The part that gets me upset isn't the idiot persisting that they buy me a drink. It's the part where I have to come off as a man eating bitch for them to finally get it. I've refused the drink twice already and yet there's still persitance, it isn't my fault someone is so daft.

Its all ego. Self entitlement is them thinking they have a chance, but an enlarged hurt ego is some real small pp vibes. Mix that with anger issues and immaturity then it's a boiling meltdown. It's small pickings out there ladies, be careful.
