Girls do care. But it’s just part of the equation.

You can still fuck it up or be socially miscalibrated. I often get told I’m pretty/cute now but I didn’t use to in the past. What has changed is that i am way better at talking and interacting with women and now don’t give off “odd” vibes, so they feel more comfortable stating their thoughts. Also I would add that unless you’re begging for it or looking for pity, people (and especially women in a man to woman interaction) just don’t say anything if they don’t have anything nice to say. Eg they t…

I do believe you’re onto something. I had longer relationships before but never got the idea in my mind that I was pretty or good with women, so I improved everything, became decent, and now can get quite a few. I’ve had plenty of casual sex and I’m where OP is, finding it cheap and not worth it — however, even though now I want a relationship I don’t think I’ve would have been so confident and grounded if I didn’t go through these stages.

Bro I’m 31 and have plenty of success. I’m the best I’ve ever been, mentally and physically. I’m a machine. I say this not to brag, but to let you know that your best years are still ahead of you. Take a look at the big post in my account to read my recent experience, and DMs are open if you need to chat.

That’s why you don’t do meals on first dates. I am a man with an active sex life fwiw.

Not really tbh, I see chemistry (or not) within the first few minutes

No, not every time. I’ve been happy to walk out of dates too as it became clear we were not fit for each other.

Exactly, you’re one of the few that seems to get it. Vibe from the encounter >>> specific events in the encounter. And not only that, sometimes an obsession on kissing/whatever could actively ruin your chances as the girl’s situation differs from others’. Maybe I should have tagged this as advanced game tbh.

How so?
/r/seduction24/10/22 12:26 PM

Oh of course. But the way you state your interest is by physician escalation, flirting, and not a one-off attempt on a kiss.
/r/seduction24/10/22 12:03 PM
2

Yes! But it should be a natural extension of the vibe, the escalation done before, and the context of the encounter.

I’m with you here and I would double down: not only a return of the flame won’t happen, but you should never entertain the possibility as it will lead you to still be relatively obsessed and wanting to prove something to them. You should not prove something to them, you should be cantered on yourself and do the changes you need to (if any) because you want to do them and consider them the best possible course of action. I understand the feeling of wanting to prove you’ve become better off, I’ve …

Hey man! Thanks for the post, really appreciate it! I was wondering if you can elaborate a little bit further on the steps you take after meeting a girl. Let's say you do meet a cute girl at a party and you want it to become a fwb relationship. What do you actually do in that situation? Do you just talk and ask for her number and then a date? How do you show interest? I'm really happy for your progress but I could use some very specific advice aswell

And last one, obv I would recommend partner dancing, but yoga is good too. I did it for a while and became friends with some nice girls (which, as with the other message, ended up introducing me to their friends or inviting me to parties). Basically get exposed to as many girls as you can, whatever the way is.

And to your “good looking” point: I think I’m decently attractive now, but not a 9 or a 10. I do have a nice haircut though, I dress really well (get complimented often), have decent body language. I also am quite “peculiar” as I have tattoos, piercings, and even paint my nails (one hand is pink right now). I am definitely memorable and a type — not everybody’s but it works for enough. I would also say that I actually carry myself in a good way, eg girls tell me quite often that they thought I w…

I’m 172cm too, I guess 5’8? So yeah height is important but to a certaint point. Literally just yesterday I met a girl at some dance classes, ended up talking with her, then we kissed and I had to slightly raise myself because she’s taller 😂 As for where I meet the girls: usually partner dancing, but I’ve been trying to move away from it because even though I am super honest with my intentions and treat girls with respect I don’t want to get the “name” of being a player too much. Good point. I was ~26 when I moved and broke up, then early thirties now. What i can tell you about your age is that yes it will provably be harder, but you really have no other choice still. Again, even just for yourself, it’s worth to see the person you will end up being. And frankly I have a few older friends that are in relationships but not happy with both it and the way they are. And I can think of another friend that started at a similar age as you and is now successfully and grounded. Th…

Have you tried a purely hypertheophy program? I was in the same situation as you and I had to be honest with myself that my 125kg bench was due to technique and arching my back, not pecs

What’s the problem with that? I “entertain” other girls and expect my FWBs to have other men too. Isn’t that what this is all about?
/r/seduction04/10/22 02:47 PM
1

My two cents: asking women what they like in bed is fine, but don’t do it beforehand (aside from generic stuff). I’m good at penetrative sex but incredible at cunnilingus and fingering, there’s literally no girl I’ve not made cum in the past few years. However how I do is that I apply my knowledge and techniques as a start, but then quickly ask them to guide me while I’m doing it, to tell me if I should be doing something else or tweak something. This is while I’m doing it, not beforehand. I thi…

I wouldn’t discount the girls you meet in that are already in relationships. Assuming you don’t wanna be bad and break their relationships, you can still 1) become friends with them and 2) organise extra-activity stuff and invite them (and their partners!). That way you build rapport and social circles so you have people to hang out with. I tend to befriend every “committed” girl that I vibe with and it’s helped loads with dating. They will have single friends and by virtue of you already being …

I love your attitude bro. You will go far with it. My experience started a bit earlier than you, but in two years I became completely unrecognisable to my older friends. I was social, extroverted, fun, proactive, all from a starting point of being shy and even unable to look at people in the eyes. You just need to put in the work and results will eventually come. Wish you good luck buddy. But you won’t need it.
/r/seduction29/09/22 11:25 AM

Also you tend to get into so many social circles it’s insane. I try to talk with everybody, even being vulnerable, and it’s let me develop deeper friendships very quickly. Then serendipity happens.

Don’t, it’s shitty. Imagine having a girl you expressed interest in telling you about her escapades. Feels like manipulation to me.

Yeah I feel the same. Each situation is different. My ex was partying too, mostly going to “shake your ass” clubs. She never cheated, and it was me being insecure and projecting my issues into her. You could be doing loads of the points OP mentioned and still be perfect “relationship material”. The other comment you made though I feel like you’re spot on.

Yeah, have quite a few matches myself — am more attractive than not, have a good set of pics (by myself, with pets, with women, and doing activities showing my good physique. However the response rate is abysmal and got one date out of it in a few weeks. Bumble seems to be better, at least there’s a filter in them having to contact you first.

The second and the most important is texting. Believe me, a woman's (or a person's in general) texting style rarely converts to how they interact with you in person. So just be ok if she's replying to your messages most of the time imo. Just cut them off if they rarely take the time to reply or you're certain that the current conversation won't lead to a date. This is very true in my experience too. I have a fwb that is honestly shit at texting, replies after days even — but we still see each ot…

You can set the expectations early. I have a “date” planned with someone from tinder and told her clearly even before meeting “I am not in the right moment for something serious so I just wanted to tell you, lemme know if you’re okay with it as I don’t want to waste anybody’s time”. She was cool with it. Similarly, a girl has told to me that after the first hookup. We just basically go for a bubble tea and go home or go home directly, it works for both of us and we’re happy. On the other hand th…

I don’t think there’s a contradiction really. I always talk to people like we’ve known each other for years, and if I’m interested I flirt a bit. Then depending on them signalling or not their interested I ramp up/down the flirting and continue as usual. Actually, I would say I still keep flirting in a very chill way even if they’re not interested or I am not, just to set the expectations. In a very respectful way, you can still telegraph that you have a dick without being inappropriate.
/r/seduction15/08/22 10:25 AM

Just don’t make it weird in person. I am in a similar situation and acted a bit needy and I feel like I almost lost her 😂 Be cool in class and act like you’re just friends. But in your mind be proud knowing you get to fuck her. Texting is fine but don’t over do it. Showing appreciation is alright, don’t listen to these failed PUAs saying you need to be mr cold. Just don’t be too much.

Be polarising. Not in the sense of being a cunt, but be what you are and be willing to have people not like you. You’re not supposed to like nor be liked by everybody so act like it. As an example, I am a slightly feminine guy that hangs out a lot with girls (comes from my main hobby being partner dancing), am very kind, and do not take myself too seriously. Whenever someone enters my life and they eg are not kind, make stupid comments about other people, or are competitive to the detriment of o…

@jajanken900 just FYI you don’t need to become cocky/funny to pull. Just like you don’t need tats. To give you an idea I’m more confident-funny (but not cocky) and still pull enough to be satisfied. I used to be cockier and it worked too, but I didn’t feel like it fit my values and dropped it. Not trying to go against @isdevto, to each their own. Just highlighting that you can pull it off and be interesting in many ways. Just try and see what works best for you.

I think there’s an extra level to that. I am ~172cm which in the uk is below average. If people mention my height (which they usually don’t because I’m not surrounded by idiots) I acknowledge it and are like… and? It’s just a factor, I don’t care, and if people care well they’re free to care but I don’t anymore and try to be surrounded by people that don’t care either. Last girl I was with she was with a guy quite a lot taller than me before, I sort of mentioned the difference jokingly, she said…

If you do that say it a jokingly way please, I wouldn’t feel nice about it if I were on the receiving end and being honest. However she might also be trying to get a free dinner like others have mention, so maybe suggest something chill? A coffee or something? Personally I would do that saying let’s see how it goes, in a detached kind of way

Just to give you some context: even I as a guy I would be wary of a guy with no friends (what’s his problem?), so imagine girls. Not trying to bring you down, just highlighting the thought process. Have you tried to have more social hobbies? Some group fitness activity, partner dancing, yoga, board games outside, meet-ups, etc etc?
/r/seduction05/08/22 08:51 AM

To add to that, there’s plenty of ugly non-famous guys that still get girls. As you say the have pre-selection in the sense that they’re part of a group of friends so they’re considered safe, and then they have something going on in their lives too and are centered. No one wants a shy ugly dude with no hobbies that can’t talk with girls as people, but plenty of girls can be attracted to an ugly dude that is centered and has stuff going on. Of course it’s gonna be easier if you’re attractive or n…

You know, I think you describing him like this made me realise why I appeal to some women. In my early twenties I was quite directionless and a people pleaser, but in the second half I’ve more or less hit all the points you’ve listed — am comfortable with my sexuality and appearance (I too have nail polish, rings jewellery tattoos and somewhat of a feminine angle), I’m usually going places with and interacting with female friends, have my life sorted out giving that impression of “you can come w…

I’m happy that that’s working for you. I’ve honestly had the biggest ROI from making sleep, fitness, and eating well a priority, along with hobbies and friends. It really is the basics that matter the most.
/r/seduction04/08/22 10:47 AM

Sometimes you get a vibe, some gut feeling. As for me I try to date from hobbies / social circles that I already have so I know at least some things we have in common. But yeah, like you say, sometimes you just need to see it for yourself and spend some time

Not as bad as OP’s, but I did ask the girl that I was dating for a couple of months if she wanted to join me in going back home (I live abroad), staying at my parents’. Later she told me it was slightly odd but I was super chill about it when I asked “hey I’m going x in y weeks do you want to join me, no pressure”. So some early things can work fine. Just to add a point, but yeah 100% wirh you OP doesn’t even know if she really likes him…

I appreciate your comment but I did not text her “immediately” and while I am quick to reply I am busy and not really texting much. We must have exchanged like ten texts each in the span of a week? As for the doctor thing, it followed from a line of us both being flirty with each other and saying stuff like that. All flirts sound silly when taken out of context, but that’s kind of the whole point. Mind you I’m not rejecting your points, just trying to provide some more context. I am not 18 anymo…

I feel you but they’re two separate things in my head, the kind of mental effort / space for posting a story is different from texting. But yes I try to make time reply if I’m online, especially because most of my convos are now on instagram. Also she is not the priority, as I’m not hers! I don’t think emotionally stable people would mind too much. But again I try to act “well” regardless.
/r/seduction01/08/22 11:00 AM
1

For sure, I agree with you overall.
/r/seduction31/07/22 12:04 PM
3

This is true but there’s really no other choice. You can choose to life your life to the “max” by improving yourself, having hobbies you enjoy, being healthy/fit. Or… what? Just be sad? At least if you do that you’ll probably be more serene and find more meaning and maybe even if you’re ugly af some people will appreciate it for what you are.
/r/seduction31/07/22 11:58 AM
2

Nah bro you don’t even need to have a good curated insta. I have zero posts but I post stories here and there about what I’m doing, it shows that I have an interesting life and down to earth since I don’t tend to take myself too seriously — it works as the girls comment on the stories a lot and it weeds out people that don’t care about me. Win win
/r/seduction31/07/22 10:03 AM
5

I don’t even think you need to have a great insta and it still can be useful /u/churroking69. Mine has zero posts but I add quite a lot of stories, they tend to be a good conversation starter (but you need to be living a somehow interesting life!). Also works the other way, you see a story from them and you start a convo. I always go for insta as it seems less of a personal thing and gives you these avenues to talk or keep in contact more “organically” than sending a text out of the blue.
/r/seduction31/07/22 09:58 AM
1

This is good advice but I would add a note that some people might be actually have a tendency of texting too much (me included) which might not be ideal. Maybe they are a bit on the needy side or still not completely centered around themselves and it could give off the same impression. I don’t think it would be a deal breaker but it could irk some people and throw them off some.
/r/seduction28/07/22 11:45 AM
1

It’s also how you do it. Even if they don’t find you attractive if you’re smooth and stop when getting rejection signals they won’t think you’re a creep — just someone that tried and it didn’t work. Creep is when you are not able to read signals and cannot take gracefully a rejection.
/r/seduction25/07/22 11:43 AM
1

First of all I’m sorry that you had to experience that. I would say let’s be the change we wanna see in the world! Let’s treat all people with the respect they deserve and make sure we don’t discriminate for some specific factors. We’re all going to be better off!
/r/seduction25/07/22 10:27 AM
1

I’ve noticed that too, hard agree. And frankly I think you have it harder since your filter is in a different stage: for us guys we need to work harder to “get noticed” and then it’s relatively safer from there, for you it’s easier to get noticed but you need to screen more after that to gauge whether a guy is “safe” or not.
/r/seduction24/07/22 11:39 AM
3

The guy you’re responding to I think he comes from a good place but is slightly misguided. You don’t need x or y to attract girls. Sometimes confidence and being socially aware is enough. You sound like you have your goals figured out, I wouldn’t necessarily change them just to get girls. Maybe adapt them to increase exposure?
/r/seduction24/07/22 11:36 AM
9

I was in your situation too but less active. Frankly I can imagine four things: 1. You’re incredibly ugly 2. You don’t know how to read signals 3. You don’t know how to communicate 4. You’re not exposed to enough girls — Is possible but unlikely. If you want I can give you an honest feedback but again, I think it’s unlikely This was me. I think I’m average face wise but I was “a type” and in retrospect I had girls being into me but I was just completely oblivious. Have you tried checking out res…

Don’t hit on the girls in your direct social circles but on their friends is a good advice. Genuinely become friends with them, they will 100% introduce you to potential matches. Honestly just be a cool dude and don’t fake stuff.

What’s helped me (I was in your exact situation) has been finding social hobbies with good % of women. Not to hit on them, just to get used to talking with them and being around them. For me social dancing worked great (salsa, swing, etc), but climbing, yoga, some fitness classes they all work wonderfully too. Any chance maybe you could try that?
/r/seduction17/07/22 11:14 AM

I don’t think that’s true. I have that and a bit of game and I’m every day in an environment where I meet plenty of girls and I am a bit fit. It’s a mix of everything.
/r/seduction21/06/19 09:14 PM
3

I don’t know to be honest. Maybe set a timer of five hours to reply to the girl? One day? So you stop being needy. But again, I don’t know, this kind of worked for me but it might not for you. Also maybe think about how you would feel if you received your messages? Would you think the girl is needy? I reckon you might want to feel like the girl is interested but a bit detached.

The only thing that they’re “writing” is they tell me if they want to hang out or not, and in general the period of their life that they’re free. And it applies to me as well: if I don’t want to see them I don’t.

I literally spent 6 months last year not dating and just focusing on gym, learning how to dress better, making friends, and finding a hobby (dancing). I would say that this mentality set in a few months ago, so about a year after I started the big changes.

Women are not fucked up. I expect the mentality “I want you but I don’t need you” from my girls as well or I dump her. Ain’t nobody got time for needy people.

Remember that it’s not just a message or words. It’s a mentality.

Very true. I always go for a close, but if it doesn’t work out, well it didn’t! Tomorrow is a new day.

I find it to be a very nice and chill response. Hit me up shows that you want to see her again, but take care is like “from now on I’ll kind of forget about you”. Push and pull (if you wanna put it in those terms)

I am also totally honest with the girls. The second one I literally told her the “I want you but I don’t need you line”. If we are not a match it’s fine, life goes on, and it’s probably better for both of us.

The last three girls I went out with have all made moves on me. First one literally asking for my number, second one her cousin telling me she was free, third one asking me to dance. However, I wasn’t just approached straight. The first one I had been talking to her for a bit beforehand before moving to something else, second one I asked her to teach me a new dance style, third one we exchanged flirty looks. I just imagine the top of my head is attached with a string to the sky. That’s it. I walk and stand accordingly whenever I’m aware of it.

Not so sure. I have a decent body but until I took the time to focus on my posture I was slouching.

Be straight up and ask her for a date. Like literally say “hey I’m enjoying talking with you, we should go out this weekend”. You win either way because if you get the date you go it, if you don’t you can focus on other stuff.

I’ve not convinced myself to be an extrovert as much as I’ve become one. Because of my last breakup I’ve decided to change and forced myself to go out every day, talk more, etc. I’m still not an extrovert yet, but the tide is changing. I used to need to recharge every night, now I feel empty if I don’t go out. So tldr yes, you can fake it until you make it.

What do you do?
/r/seduction18/06/18 11:29 AM

No, you don’t, otherwise you wouldn’t be asking. Either tell her you love her and get prepared for things to her awkward, or move on and find other girls.

I’m not really an emoji man myself until I actually know the person, but yeah if that works for you. But the underlying truth is: girls will reply only if they’re interested, the opener doesn’t matter (unless you say some really dumb shit). It’s the second screening process after the initial matching.

When you don't go for the kiss, you are essentially screwing everything Which is what I did. I will make a move next time I get the chance. not having tried is making me feel worse than a straight up rejection. Learn what are common IOIs and what are subtle clues she wants you to kiss her. Are these the usual IOIs or is there something else I should look for? What I usually look for is her being okay with my escalating kino, close proximity, prolonged eye contact, etc.

Dude I’m 26. Fresh out of a 9 years LTR. If you think you “lost” time, think of me. And yet I’m still okay. I’m slowly learning and getting comfortable again with flirting and dates. Don’t fucking worry every again about your age and lack of experience. If it’s not this girl it will be the next one. Do your best, and good luck.

The reason for tinder is that, well, I just wanted to try it out. No big plan behind it. I am slowly building my dancing social circle but I’ve just now in the past couple of weeks been invited to bbqs and such social events. (I have been dancing for about 2 and a half months.) Also keep in mind that I’ve started from a place of not being able to hold eye contact and terrible social anxiety, so I had to build from scratch basically. Not complaining, just the way it is, and I’m extremely happy an…

TLDR: seducing her.

First note I'm making her: Getting out of a 9 year relationship leaves a mark. You're going to be processing stuff for a while even if the end was amiable. Be sure to go easy on yourself. Rome wasn't built in a day. Rings true. That's why I've purposely avoided opening tinder until yesterday. I wanted to take a couple of months off to get back on my feet (getting to a more stable place with my mind), and work on my social skills. In general, what usually happens to first dates brought to dance e…

I am, but for me it’s a very slow process. I was still dealing with the breakup while I was a beginner, so no real dates or anything; I’ve just now moved up as improver and I’m starting to slowly build up a social circle. Real talk is me being very inexperienced with flirting “new girls”, I basically lost all the experience with the LTR — not that I’m complaining, though, I’ve enjoyed it and have no regrets. But I have to accept the reality of things and build from that.
/r/seduction07/05/18 03:22 PM

Yeah I go dancing 4/5 days a week so this is 100% something I want to do. I was mainly interested in people’s opinion whether or not doing the classes would make building rapport impractical.
/r/seduction07/05/18 02:49 PM

Do you think I should do social only or classes too?
/r/seduction07/05/18 02:42 PM

These are literally the reasons for women rejecting men too. And also, from my experience at least, looks are not everything. There have been many women in my life that I was attracted to that weren’t conventionally attractive that I still was attracted to.

I think I’ve seen you post this three times already. I won’t even read it. I’ll tell you what you actually need to know: it doesn’t fucking matter. Whatever they did, it’s in the past. Now go and work on your social skills until you won’t have to ask this question because you’ll have enough intuition to know the answer yourself.

I am just curious, can you talk about processes of approaching girls on a daily basis to build confidence I haven’t approached girls in a sexual way daily, but I have been meetings new girls and talking with them almost every day for a few weeks now. This has had two effects: 1. Talking to new girls has gone from this “odd” thing I was doing every few weeks to a part of my every day life. 2. I am now calmer and more confident when talking to them because it’s just how my life is right now. And I…

Well they are better at convos than men imo, but they have different goals and social pressure. They usually just need to show some IOIs to get a man, while a man has to prove its value. So they can get by by asking interview questions, while men can’t.
/r/seduction20/04/18 09:12 PM

He says from 1 in 30 to 1 in 100 iirc. But those are cold approaches on the street though, I’d guess approaching via shared hobbies / social circle is way better.
/r/seduction20/04/18 09:09 PM

Better yet, imo, is di cold reading and try to guess them. Makes the atmosphere more playful and you can tease them about their answer. “You look like you’re a teacher” “oh you a lawyer? Then I guess we won’t get married” or some dumb shit like that.

This is very true. Having a script lets you get into the game and start playing. Then, with time, you start to deviate from it and improvise.

Which other ways?
/r/seduction17/04/18 07:32 AM

Yes I was referring mainly to clubs, where a situational/observational opener (to me) is usually harder. I will try to focus on non-verbal communication as you say.

Re point 3: would a mix of initial assumptions / cold reads + comfort later on work? Aka what it’s usually taught for daygame. I’d assume kino and escalation would be way faster though. Thanks for your comments btw, they’re always super helpful and detailed. I love reading them.

I am an immigrant as well, so I feel you. But that’s true to an extent. Yes you need to be pushing and pushing at the beginning, but eventually you’re gonna find someone that’s gonna invite you over. Same happened to me. I am still fighting to get into that social circle but it’s slowly happening. Where are you living btw? I’m in London and I can see though how the big percentage of immigrants might play a role in this. We’re all in the same boat. One thing that has helped me is joining dance cl…

If I may offer a suggestion, next time have a script. You’re both repeating the same concepts loads of times and it gets repetitive. Good stuff though.

Unless the girl is 100% into you physically (which is rare) yes, this stuff is absolutely necessary to demonstrate value. It’s necessary when interacting with people in non-sexual settings, so it can’t possibly be less necessary when trying to get someone to sleep with you.
/r/seduction08/04/18 09:00 PM

People have already replied in this thread telling you what works better. Stories, assumptions, jokes, bantering, push pull. And that is only the verbal side.

Talk to everyone. Ask people what they’re doing this week or weekend. Maybe they’ll invite you. Go do interesting stuff on the weekends and invite people to come with you. If you want to get into social circles where the men/women ratio is good, meet women at activities where the ratio is good (eg dance classes). Repeat.

TALK. TO. EVERYONE Seriously, talk with at least 5 new people every day. Two have to be women. A joke or a single sentence counts. And yes, keep the score so you can’t cheat. This has helped me go from the guy that over analyzed his thoughts and was blocked by paralysis by analysis to a guy that says whatever the fuck he wants at all times. It’s such a helpful practice.

Why do you say that? MFA tends to promote a certain look, but it will also teach you the basics of dressing well and buy clothes that fit you or have them tailored. And yes, you can say they only say "fit is king", but isn't that the truth? As long as you don't do rookie mistakes (and maaaany men do it, most of us I'd say), if you buy fitting clothes that highlight your best body parts and hide the worst you can pretty much where what you want. Everything follows the same pattern, body-language recognition too: You don't know shit about it. You learn everything about it. You try it in real life, only concentrating about it and nothing else with disastrous results You get better at "intuitively" understanding it (also known as: the more you practice the less you think about it while doing it) You don't think about it anymore and just do it. You can't reach stage 5 without going through stage 1, 2, 3, and 4. It applies to body-language r…
