meetup.com isn't online dating. You need to make some female friends first.

my goal is to build something longlasting, not a ONS building something longlasting is NOT EASY. It's important to gain experience and learn to connect with people, and take those opportunities where you can.
/r/seduction02/03/17 07:05 AM

You're right, but the catch is that I fucking despise clubs and bars. Dude I don't like lifting heavy things and putting them down but the goal is worth it. Go for practice. You'll still turn her off if you have no idea what to do Can you make an example of this? Now I'm kinda worried How do you imagine the interaction will go? If you meet a cool girl, is that it? She falls in love with you, end of story? As you say, you have no experience.... so you should go out and meet some women, as friends…
/r/seduction02/03/17 07:04 AM

I also have the problem that my hobbies (listening and playing music, reading, videogames) do not actually draw many women. Then get different hobbies.
/r/seduction02/03/17 07:02 AM

What the other guy said. In a normal situation/house party whatever, a girl showing you her boobs could reasonably be interpreted as a sign of interest. On mardi gras though, they're just having fun. NB: I'm not saying she wasn't interested, but I wouldn't read too much into it as an "opportunity" of any sort.
/r/seduction02/03/17 07:01 AM

If it fails, then how are they "leading you on"? That sounds like a pretty clear cut answer right there.

Holy shit don't listen to the other guy. Coffee is a fine first date.
/r/seduction02/11/15 06:41 PM
1

Ask all of that in one go. "Coffe Sunday? 2pm at X?"
/r/seduction02/11/15 06:40 PM
1

How much logistics is there in "x bar, 9pm"? What is it that you're spending so much effort planning?
/r/seduction02/11/15 06:39 PM

To be fair OP is kind of a prick

How do you make other friends?

I mean I agree with you. Regret isn't rape.

Perpetrators like Cosby are a rare breed, sure, but his actions are not emblematic of all rape. Teaching people that "Cosby is what rape looks like" ignores the fact that/most rape/ does not look like drugging someone and fading your way in a dark alley.

Who said anything about sexual deviants? Anyone can fail to respect lack of consent.

I have licked at least one girl's eyeball. It was great.

You need to be able to befriend them first. Get used to having these awesome women in your life without trying to game them.

going on dates is not getting into a relationship.
/r/seduction06/11/14 03:22 AM
1

Ask her directly if you want, but you'l probably get no answer and should stop texting her.
/r/seduction03/11/14 07:54 AM
3

Why do you start liking these girls before they like you?
/r/seduction28/10/14 07:09 PM

Everywhere. Keep meeting people and go figure out exactly what's out there.
/r/seduction13/10/14 09:14 AM

I have no experience and it's embarrassing It's not.
/r/seduction12/10/14 11:30 AM

she's on tinder Edit: I didn't read the rest of your post, you should NOT change the location now. Move there after if it looks good, but honestly I'd save that for D2.

text her NOW and set up a date NOW. till I have a date planned? Why is this not NOW
/r/seduction07/10/14 03:19 PM

"Listen, I think you're really cute, and I want to kiss you right now."
/r/seduction28/09/14 10:26 AM

Don't get that drunk. It sounds like you know what you did was wrong, but you were too black out to see what you were doing.
/r/seduction22/09/14 11:29 PM

I swing dance a lot. I lift. I'm working on picking up the saxophone again. I go out on the town on weekends and weeknights to improve my knowledge of awesome restaurants and bars and of the city in general. I play magic and league of legends. I try to cook and improve my culinary and mixology skills. I practice thinking probabilisticly. I build awesome systems and implement interesting algorithms at work.
/r/seduction14/09/14 07:45 AM
2

No. It plays a nonzero part, for sure, but so does everything else about you.
/r/seduction17/08/14 11:49 PM
3

To be honest, I thought I was being an asshole. How was that being an asshole? You're just being a regular, nonsupplicating person.
/r/seduction07/08/14 09:34 AM
1

I just tell her to take her shoes off.
/r/seduction07/08/14 09:27 AM
2

and the other part is my lack of experience in bed. I don't want to disappoint my sexual partners You're going to disappoint them a whole bunch before you start pleasing them. Just do it.
/r/seduction07/08/14 09:06 AM
1

They don't like you. You need to be more interesting/more attractive.
/r/seduction06/08/14 01:32 AM
6

If it is a playful thing then I would play along.
/r/seduction25/07/14 05:56 AM
1

They don't read books anymore because they're at the top of their craft and no one can write a book (that appeals to the masses and will sell) that still provides value to them. You can bet they still discuss these things with other players, coaches, etc.
/r/seduction24/07/14 08:05 PM
1

Is there not a bar?
/r/seduction03/07/14 01:38 PM
1

did you text haha or she?
/r/seduction07/06/14 11:33 AM
7

No, because they're not my favorite.
/r/seduction28/05/14 03:59 AM
26

You flirt with them as though you were trying to sleep with them, then don't.
/r/seduction28/05/14 03:55 AM
1

As someone who used to be like you: seeing as how you're fairly self aware of this problem, have you tried adjusting the way you interpret other's actions and lowering the threshold at which something is considered flirting? I used to never be able to tell, and then one day just said "what if I assume she's ALWAYS flirting?" Turns out that was an overcorrection, but 3-4 iterations of binary search later I had a pretty good grasp of when women were flirting with me. Men flirting with me though, I…
/r/seduction27/05/14 06:27 PM
1

And how do you do that?
/r/seduction24/05/14 11:33 PM

What do you think the goal is?
/r/seduction17/05/14 01:17 AM
5

Jesus fuck it's not bad to learn how to interact with other people in society
/r/seduction16/05/14 08:55 AM
1

It will cause heartache. That's the whole point of being vulnerable.
/r/seduction13/05/14 06:44 PM
2

You think it's okay to have these thoughts and still be vulnerable as a part of who you are? Yes. All communication is manipulation, I just choose to be aware of what I do.
/r/seduction13/05/14 06:36 AM
2

they ask girls out in the most wishy-washy ways (e.g., "when will you be free?... ok, what do you want to do?" or "we should hang out sometime"). Are they actually DATING those girls or just hanging out with them in some fashion that could be construed as nonromantic?
/r/seduction20/04/14 04:14 AM
10

On why you should grab her boobs from behind: This releases a chemical called oxytocin, and that enhances her mood. So by doing this, you're doing foreplay, just by massaging her breasts.
/r/seduction21/02/14 05:47 AM
1

Just touch her. It's not creepy especially if she's approaching you already.
/r/seduction09/02/14 10:45 AM
0

she would bring up a „friend of her“ that she was drinking a beer with tonight/playing music together/spending time with/that was hitting on her. As far as I‘ve read, this can either be a shit test or a indirect hint that she‘s not interested. True? JFC maybe neither of those, maybe she just has friends, did that ever occur to you? without making each other jealous, This comes from you not being jealous. This does not come from her not hanging out with other men.
/r/seduction25/12/13 10:02 PM
1

Don't like them. Boom, no interaction change.
/r/seduction08/11/13 10:11 AM

Several of my female friends have had one night stands.
/r/seduction23/10/13 07:18 AM

and lasted 1-3 seconds (not even joking) that was like the first 50 times I had sex. So long as your hands and tongue are good.
/r/seduction02/10/13 07:37 AM
1

/r/fitness, but starting strength or stronglifts is a good start. It's not about using the weights "occasionally", it's about having a plan and most importantly, a PROGRESSION. You don't get stronger unless you keep increasing weights. Also, do squats and deadlifts.
/r/seduction02/10/13 02:26 AM
2

Yes. Source: I have hooked up with many of my friends. We still do, when we're in the same city and are both single.
/r/seduction02/10/13 02:22 AM
1

Did you isolate her at some point and then bring her back to her friend? Did you k-close in view of the friend or away from her? Good stuff man, thanks for the content.
/r/seduction01/10/13 11:56 AM
3

how the woman percieves HERSELF.
/r/seduction24/09/13 07:30 PM
2

just lol at them.
/r/seduction22/09/13 08:16 PM
3

Be normal around them? They are your friends, after all.
/r/seduction22/08/13 10:32 PM
0

And we're telling you that's wrong. Go tap some shoulders.
/r/seduction13/08/13 10:20 PM
1

No she wouldn't
/r/seduction13/08/13 10:20 PM
9

do you just invite them over for some beer or something? Yes. To expand on this (and what others are saying), no one's going to invite you out to do friendstuff if you don't invite them out to do friendstuff.
/r/seduction11/08/13 06:51 AM
1

Then it would be EVEN BETTER.
/r/seduction10/08/13 10:30 PM
1

Have you had many long term relationships? Just go do it and learn about what you want/need in a relationship. It's ok if it doesn't last.
/r/seduction04/08/13 09:30 PM
1

Wait, honest question. Is it expected that guys carry condoms on themselves all the time? I obviously have condoms at my place, but I assume that she'll have condoms at her place.
/r/seduction04/08/13 02:31 AM

The advice is fine if not earthshattering, but the example outfit you put up is atrocious.
/r/seduction10/07/13 01:28 AM

vc?
/r/seduction22/06/13 12:24 AM

I have no problem using text simply for logistics, and generally move to that after maximum 1 or 2 texts of fluff. The problem is that most people seem receptive to my initial texts, then disappear after I suggest meeting up in person.
/r/seduction21/06/13 01:10 AM
3

I don't think anyone here does Mystery method anymore. It's still valuable to understand the point of communication though, and why you say the things you say.
/r/seduction09/06/13 05:35 AM
1

More often than not, that's not what they're thinking. One needs to practice this to be able to calibrate.
/r/seduction09/05/13 05:15 AM
42

You gotta calibrate. If those things don't stick with the girls in your demographic, go less off the wall.
/r/seduction02/05/13 02:05 AM
48

The point is to go and get first hand experience. Think about who you dismiss straight off, and who actually captures your attentions and interest.
/r/seduction10/04/13 07:15 PM
3

shit man, are you two exclusive or not? If not, then it's none of your business. But the way you're acting, it seems like you want to be. In which case talk to her and lock shit down.
/r/seduction26/03/13 09:57 PM
5

Well I also got an F-close that night..... for, um, warmth....
/r/seduction20/03/13 07:04 PM

Even if I read a text, I sometimes can't be bothered to compose a reply immediately. I'm a busy person, and I assume the person I'm seeing is as well.

It's just a polo and jeans, what I need to wear for work. Don't wear that when you go out.
/r/seduction20/02/13 10:16 PM

Same thing happened to me last night. It's a hard lesson to learn, but keep at it.
/r/seduction10/02/13 09:04 PM

Read shakespeare. Probably not the /best/ suggestion, but it's a good supplemental exercise in addition to the other stuff listed here.
/r/seduction27/01/13 07:10 AM

You go to bars because it's fun.
/r/seduction26/01/13 06:57 PM

/r/seduction21/01/13 02:32 AM

A lot of people will go back to the same, without thinking carefully about why they were hurt in the first place.
/r/seduction03/01/13 11:26 PM

One would assume he's looking for more women. Whether he's looking for women of a stronger character is another thing entirely.
/r/seduction03/01/13 09:17 PM
15

Jesus Christ respect your woman a bit more. She's not some toy to be "taken away" from you, she's a living person with her own brain. Also, if your SO is the "only reason you are happy", you need to work on yourself.
/r/seduction03/01/13 08:53 AM

White tie event I am wearing a Black bow-tie and vest I lol'd Seriously though, good FR :)
/r/seduction03/01/13 07:44 AM

There's a line between being a good dinner partner and being overly forward and I think you crossed it. I know that had I been that woman's boyfriend I would not have felt comfortable with what went on. That's not for you to decide, it's for the girl and the guy. It's your right to be bothered by shit like that, but that's why you've talked with your girl about appropriate behavior, right?
/r/seduction03/01/13 07:43 AM
5

Really? I'm pretty sure there are a large group of sedditors who do not agree and are in fact prett vocal about it whenever someone brings this point up, e.g. me.
/r/seduction03/01/13 07:42 AM
19

Maybe you should find women with more of a backbone
/r/seduction03/01/13 04:59 AM

(put me in the BF's shoes and then escalate your game all the way). What?
/r/seduction03/01/13 04:08 AM

Absolutely right. The 2 most satisfying relationships I've had, we fucked on the second date, and did everything but sex on the first.

Teasing is different from negging. Read puaCurveballs' post.
/r/seduction06/11/12 08:08 PM
1

My position is that successful "negging" as it's shown by those in the field is much more akin to teasing than it is to the formalized definition of a neg. That's not negging.
/r/seduction06/11/12 08:06 PM
9

Shave.
/r/seduction04/11/12 01:46 AM
1

....yes, that's what I said. The training wheels eventually become superfluous, but only after practice with them. You can't just "study" your way past the training wheels.
/r/seduction01/11/12 06:24 PM
1

The training wheels are VERY important even if you know the reasons.
/r/seduction01/11/12 06:10 PM
1

uh, yes?
/r/seduction01/11/12 03:54 AM
2

You're using different words for the same concept, and then applying your own subconscious associations.
/r/seduction30/10/12 09:59 PM
1

What's the difference?
/r/seduction30/10/12 09:35 PM
3

I do. Your point?
/r/seduction30/10/12 09:34 PM
3

The "easiest method" for you may not be the easiest method for other people. I should know, I was one of those.
/r/seduction30/10/12 08:19 PM
3

There are people who don't know how to do this.
/r/seduction30/10/12 07:45 PM
8

If you lack social acumen and awareness, go out there, put your personality on the line without fear and LIVE and learn. It's much easier than it sounds. Too much people want a shortcut on how to become awesome and social. Just because you didn't have trouble learning this on your own doesn't mean it comes easily for everyone.
/r/seduction30/10/12 07:20 PM

how about grey suit, white shirt, brown suspenders, grey fedora?

/r/seduction21/10/12 02:48 AM

Oh no! An awkward bus ride!
/r/seduction01/10/12 09:21 AM
2

Where are you getting "most" from? I would say that's almost certainly not true if you live in a large metro area.
/r/seduction28/09/12 06:44 PM
2

I get hit on by gay guys all the time. It's flattering/I don't mind. Not a big deal broski!
/r/seduction28/09/12 06:44 PM
3

I'd say that adding routines and openers to your bag of tricks is more productive than thinking yourself into a more confident state with no actual improvement to justify it.
/r/seduction19/09/12 01:58 AM
3

It works to an extent. You can pep yourself up and yes that is an important aspect. But in the end the true confidence you're looking for comes from ACTUALLY PRACTICING talking to girls.
/r/seduction19/09/12 01:40 AM
1

But you can't just "think" yourself into more confidence. Confidence comes from taking baby steps, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, and actually IMPLEMENTING the outer game stuff so you get better at talking to women.
/r/seduction18/09/12 06:20 PM
1

mmmmm no.
/r/seduction13/09/12 11:23 AM
3

Why not? When I go out I love to hear people's stories. Isn't that why we go out?
/r/seduction07/09/12 11:55 PM
1

he said "You know, since I'm going to be gone for so long, I wouldn't even blame you if you hooked up with someone." If her husband said it's ok for her to hook up, then it's ok for her to hook up. Why are you imposing your morals on them?
/r/seduction13/08/12 08:24 PM
2

her husband that he said "You know, since I'm going to be gone for so long, I wouldn't even blame you if you hooked up with someone." Some people are actually ok with open relationships. What's there left to question?
/r/seduction13/08/12 08:22 PM
-3

One day, almost all of us will end up married. And when we do, honesty and trust will be at the core of that relationship. We know how we would feel if our wives cheated on us-- so tell me, what the fuck happened to the golden rule? Please don't purport to speak for all of us. Some of us are actually poly and comfortable being so.
/r/seduction13/08/12 08:22 PM
3

giraffemission said this elsewhere but I'm quoting to reemphasize: Bros before hoes is about repeatedly cancelling major plans, personality changes because of GF and so on. Not applicable to this case at all.

Ditch them. please. Stop being friends with them.
/r/seduction13/01/12 09:35 PM

If they don't bite, they don't bite. No matter how you look at it, 7 is not a lot. It's like saying you're not good at the piano after making an attempt to learn 7 different concertos. I'd rather you do 20 scales and 50 etudes (and maybe a concerto or 2)! Don't sweat the "serious relationship" stuff just yet, just focus on BECOMING ATTRACTIVE and your basics of learning how to talk to women/how to not get friendzoned.
/r/seduction12/01/12 08:19 AM
1

7 serious attempts is not very many. Success rate is generally pretty low, even for those of us who are good. Studying seduction is more about being able to do it right and not screw up when Ms. Right DOES come around and IS interested in you. However, to be able to pull that off you should, yes, practice a gatling gun approach. Don't think of it as "settling" for lower quality women, you're just practicing for when the right one comes along.

Perhaps you've been going about it the wrong way? There is such a thing as "practicing incorrectly".

if you could add another accomplishment to that list, "get laid reasonably often", would you? It's a skill that takes time and effort to develop, just like everything else you've listed.

I did, but I moved into the dorms when I was 18 for college and haven't looked back. I don't think I really started developing as a person/individual until I moved out. High school was pretty much terrible every day.

Because I'm a poor excuse for a man. Experience wise sexually I'm like a little kid It doesn't matter..... there's a chance it'll be good. I mean likely it will suck, but that's ok, most first times suck. What do I do if she thinks I suck and laughs at me? Don't give a fuck?

Seddit is not about how to cultivate a relationship as a homeboy. Sure, those relationships exists, and can be quite fulfilling! But this is not the place to discuss them. People don't come here looking for relationship/girlfriend advice.

Depends on how you treat your friends. In general no; the kind of behavior that gets you friendzoned is supplicating behavior. If you're aggressive and active with your friends, and tease them and give them shit and stuff, then you're fine. The point is, I tense up sometimes and have trouble being "natural" around girls on "dates" and shit, so it helps to pretend in my head that I've known them for a long time and we're best buddies.

One thing to note is that getting smashed is not conducive to hitting on girls. It's good to go out and have fun, but if your goal is a SNL you should take it easy on the alcohol.

I don't really know why these girls approach me in the first place, issue #1. Because they are interested. But I can't just help think the fact that they were interested in the first place. If you are introverted to the point where you can't go out and meet people and work well in social situations, yes it is a "problem" or a "failing". I don't mean a "problem" in a bad way but you are not as strong as you could be. Rounding out your character and gaining social deftness is not a bad thing. I've been an introvert all my life and I've had to work really hard to become as outgoing as I am. I still enjoy alone time very much and couldn't imagine going out and partying all the time, bu…

Stop disputing the definitions. I think all of us agree that "over reliance on canned phrases and routines" is poor. What Atlas calls "natural game" many of us here have learned through practice and study, so we tend to name it a "practiced routine/skill". It doesn't change the fact that beyond the definitions, we're actually agreeing....

I don't think anyone on Seddit is advocating that sort of behavior...
/r/seduction18/05/11 08:51 PM

First of all, it's great that you're getting out there talking to people. As you said, it can be a great ego boost and just helps you get into state/overcome AA. It seemed that you handled yourself well! I would say you are very aware of the sort of things you need to work on if you were actually trying to close this girl. Well, if it's any consolation, these women you're talking about are female in terms of neurology and also hormones, which are the most important things to consider. It's safe to say transsexuals aren't trying to "fool" anybody, just to be themselves.

Right, basic questions like "How do I kino" belong in ask seddit. More advanced "Hey guys, had an interesting situation happen last night, was out blah blah and <interesting thing> happened! I was quite at a loss about how to deal with it... what would you have done?" is fine for Seddit proper.

I was in an open relationship for a while, I mainly had NSA sex with my "others" while she was more involved with hers/actually "dating" hers. It was mostly fine, though I had to manually suppress my urge to become jealous.

Finally, Food. Food is huge in Asia. It's the centerpiece for family anf society, and nothing is better than eating a nice Korean dish with your Asian friend -- most Asians love Korean food, whether or not they're actually Korean themselves.
