What I don't understand is why are you trying to talk like a 13 year old from 5 years ago?

Of course it's possible. People do it all the time. I really haven't found this to be possible in my case. I mean what else can I do? I already meditate, journal, been to therapy, tried anti depressants, nootropics, some drugs. Weird self affirmations. How the hell does one change one's desires. No because the moment you do it you realize how much time you wasted. At least you could move on from that sticking point in life. Honestly for me it's sometimes like a parasite on my head wailing me dow…

I'm not even disagreeing with that it is not a shitty way. I'm just talking about whether it's possible for someone to change one's priorities and desires. But you know assuming one hasn't fucked a lot of women, wouldn't it be good for that one to then fuck them to realize how empty and pointless it was so that one could move onto more productive things in life?

I don't know anything about Maslow's pyramid. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow%27s_hierarchy_of_needs I disagree with that. Just because you've decided that you're not going to be happy until you became an NBA player doesn't mean you should ignore everything about focus on being an NBA player, even if you fail at it and it never brings you happiness. Being an NBA player I think is more on the self actualization part. What I meant regarding the levels is that if one doesn't get laid and this …

But isn't that just Maslow's pyramid then? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/60/Maslow%27s_Hierarchy_of_Needs.svg/2000px-Maslow%27s_Hierarchy_of_Needs.svg.png By that I mean of course one gets bored of one level and goal when this one has achieved the goal. But one can't reach to self-actualization if one still hasn't fulfilled the goal on the lower level. So this one is still blindsided by everything else. So there are two solutions. Maybe the guy who hasn't managed to stri…

So can one choose what this one desires? What if one just doesn't care about changing the world. We do not even know if any change we do for the world is eventually for the better or not. What if one doesn't have extreme passion or interest in anything else? How does one exactly change what this one deep down desires or wants. If this was choosable why not just choose to be content with nothing. Why not choose to be content with just the way I am right now. You are describing the problem, that p…

How can I put myself into that mindset when my past experience has shown it to not be true? It means lying and deluding myself. I can't do that. I also didn't mean that by pretending. I meant being a lot more subtle than that. But it still means acting more 'confident, positive and loving-of-life' than I really am. Essentially what I did was just 'actions', that I thought a guy who has it made would do. But deep down I felt extremely scared and insecure. I thought I could fuck up at any time. I …

I tried that, the girl thought I was a player despite I have never had any good sexual situations or relationship in my life before. But I think she never came to trusting me in all actuality... And then I fucked it up. Now I think all this pretending simply takes too much effort. I wonder if women are worth this type of effort for me. Maybe there is someone out there that would be worth it, but I have yet to meet her.

Yeah I think 'all men are creeps' mindset stated there by default is not the best. Also I think the point of the post is just to 'have options'... But how is someone who is not getting any able to get into a position where that someone could 'have options'. Should that one just be pretending?

Well. To be fair I still think that depression is just a label and often reasons for becoming fat can also be caused due to depression as well. How do you know if a fat person is fat because of depression or anything else, really? I don't think it is as simple as to categorize those things as physical and psychological. There is a lot of gray area. Could it not be possible someone eats in order to make the mental problems of his/her life to go away. Maybe shaming and the low self esteem caused b…

I have never been fat, but I've had other obviously bad habits. I had depression and what eventually helped me was someone believing in me and pushing me to do something that showed me how if I am productive I can get results and become happier. The person didn't shame me. Any shame I received just made me worse and made me lose even more faith in myself.

How can I know that I will find something. I mean I do go to the gym and work out, but I do it out of discipline rather than anything else. I feel like I do everything in my life out of discipline and out of anxiety that if I don't do those things I will never become the success I desire or the kind of man I desire to be. But I feel like this is all I do is just 'faking till making it'. I have done it for 2.5 years. Everything just discipline and putting effort in. Not really enjoying it. When w…

What if one is not passionate about any such thing or enjoys something like this? I mean hobbies would be all fine and dandy to do, but is it right to do a hobby if you don't enjoy it and it feels like work?
/r/seduction26/02/17 07:23 PM

Yeah, I agree and I'd never do that in real life. I see value in anonymous social experimenting though. You can basically say and do a lot to see how different people react or respond. This can satisfy one's curiousity so that one won't have to do it in real life or one can just observe others. I would only consider doing it wrong if I knew it would affect the other persons life negatively.
/r/seduction07/02/17 02:15 PM
1

I think in this case it's also important to insult someone's character to see how they respond. Because of the type of advice (how to be a man) you give out and what you write implies that "you've made it" which means you should be confident and secure. Responses to insults of character I think can show whether it is so. If someone responds to insults with confident kindness I gain a lot of respect towards to this person. I'm just speaking my mind here, not trying to justify what I said earlier,…

Or maybe I think that it's good to try and insult and/or challenge anyone who writes those types of posts to see how exactly they respond. It gives a better measure on how legitimately that person's content should be taken. I think it's necessary for this type of advice. You have a lot of claims in the post. If you handle what is dished out in a good way I think I believe the content more legitimately so this might be one reason for insulting.

Difference is that my goal was not to insult you. I just wanted to express my thoughts I had during reading the content. What is the point of not expressing your thoughts on Reddit just not to insult someone? Obviously you are not retarded, but I just really dislike the content and it pissed me off. It's the fact that something very simple is covered with so much irrelevant text and it gets up-voted is what flipped me off. I did it because the content was very frustrating. You really like the word cuck though. I'm not entirely sure what to reply to you anymore. I actually do not know how living out cuckold fantasies in real life would affect one's psychology, so I can't argue on that. I doubt though that for me if it turns me on when girl takes the dominant and active side in the bed is psychologically in any sense bad. You are talking more about your feelings rather than logic though. That you find things 'disgusting' etc. Your judgement derives from the narrative that 'If there is no explainable or clear reason for something to be there due to it being evolutionary advantegous it must be bad'. First of all the environment changes rapidly and a lot of things do have evolutionary reason behind them that might not seem to at first. It doesn't really matter whether you care about the criticism of your advice. It's in my opinion however important to point out how your advice can be extremely toxic if anyone would come to believe it. I'm not sure if it's possible to point out to you how flawed your statements in general are, but it's important to recognize that by spewing that type of shit you are also affecting anyone else seeking advice here in a miserable direction. I think your advice is not that good to be honest. I'm pretty sure it's actually toxic. TIL: Not giving a fuck and not caring about outcome gets you laid. But why the fuck put some sun bullshit in there and bring out some extremely odd metaphors and weird science into it? I think OP is retarded tbh. It's so pissing me off, because the things he's talking about are still common PUA inner game things and he's presenting them as something 'new' or that he's solved the most important problem in the world, alone. Okay and how exactly do I not THINK about things. I think it should be generally proven that avoiding to think about something doesn't work even for most people. You can't actively decide not to think about something. I don't think I've managed to do something like this even ONCE in my lifetime. I am confident in other areas, but it doesn't transfer over to social situations. It's always been like that. I used to play soccer when I was younger and while I scored the best on the fitness/general test which tested various skills and usually the best one got to be the captain of the team. The coach basically ignored that I got the best result this season while all the other seasons the captain was selected according to that and chose the 2nd spot to be a captain and 3rd spot as a co-captain…

My view is only focused on social skills and confidence as these are the things that I'm lacking the most as I have IMO above average or at least average looks, clothing, I work out (I'd say I'm more fit than at least 80% of guys around me) and make decent money. I'd say I'm top 20% in other areas in life and in some areas top 0.5%, but since I don't have the first two it's all for nothing.

The sooner he asks the less chance of a friendzone. The longer he waits and the more comfortable he gets the bigger chance girl loses attraction. The more he tries to overcome the anxiety by asking earlier the more he lessens his future anxiety and develops his character so it's a win win to ask earlier. No, you should not hesitate and do it ASAP. Now go and do it or otherwise you will end up forever alone. It's your choice whether the direction of your life is going to be upwards or downwards from this single moment now. If you do ask her out now, it will go up, but you will be doomed if you don't. I'm not even good at tech support or anything to do with troubleshooting. I can google, but I usually do not have patience to fix some obscure windows os problems. I'm good at coding and abstract logic so I only do that and I only enjoy doing that. Anything with UI and using a mouse and I get annoyed. But luckily I don't have anyone pestering with looking for help outside of work time. And I don't think being an IT support for a girl would get anyone further from being friendzoned.

/r/seduction28/08/16 04:40 PM

I still think that skills don't matter to girls as much as how confident on is about themselves. My skills are related to IT, which is particularly not interesting to girls and anything I can tell them about this is highly specific and they wouldn't be able to understand this. If it was being a doctor, lawyer or anything like that it would seem more attractive, but otherwise all they can understand is that I'm a computer person.

The day game cold approaching applies more to US where people do that naturally. Where I'm located at, it's culturally a different thing so the approaching doesn't work - I have not heard of anyone really doing that here or seen it in action. And with all the VISA stuff it's not very easy to relocate to something like US as well. The reason why approaching…

I mean, results from Tinder can be very random and highly affected by your profile pictures IMO.

Man, why do I even go to gym if I can't pose shirtless.

Face -> with plastic surgery maybe, but even then it probably won't look good. It's expensive as well, but if you were rich then yes it could be changed. Ability to be witty/charming/funny -> depends on the individual. For some it can be changed, for others not.

In the end I think we just have to learn to accept ourselves for who we are Is it possible? Is it really learning? Or you just accept or you don't. Does it just happen? Do you read books to learn this or do you keep repeating to yourself good things about yourself until you finally accept yourself? What is this process?

What about your face? Facial expressions? Difficult to upgrade one's face. Or voice tonality. It can be somewhat improved, but just to an extent. Also the ability to be witty, charming or funny. Some say it can be learned, but from personal experience I haven't found a way. I mean these questions instantly pop in my head when I read this type of advice and it makes me distrust it as biased advice, not reflecting reality.

Yeah, it's sad. Lifting weights is easy for me, but developing a personality. At the current rate, maybe by when I'm 90? Lifting weights alone does nothing. And I definitely see skinny charismatic dudes pull of hot chicks all the time and leave me just in envy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
