That's the kind of stuff I've been looking for! Thanks for the links. It's getting time for me to go to bed so I'm only skimming through your first link, but I like the second one. Makes me think of what Zan Perrion says: success is not a yes to "did she give me her number?" but a yes to "did I show up, did I talk to her and tell her I'd like to know her?". Alright, you convinced me to have another look at this subreddit, and I confess two things: 1, reading a FR reawakened my long-time abandone…

I'm fine with agreeing to disagree. And if that's how you read the FAQ, so the better for you. Personally, I'm not really into this thing of having to learn tricks to show your better self. But as you say, we can agree to disagree :).

Never did I say that "just being yourself" is going to work. What I said is the following: I believe that there's a wonderful guy hidden inside of you, with all the beauty and richess and wits and generosity that you have to offer. And I believe that women would love to know you if you were to display that part of you more often. If I had anything to say about "just being yourself" I would say the following: "be yourself, but only your best half". And yes, there is nothing wrong with getting lit…

In short, just enjoy the date & the rest will fall into place. Yeah :) that's my point. I also 100% agree with the meditation and therapy stuff. I can't say how much meditation has changed me. And how much the mindset of "I have some shit in me that I've been carrying for way too long and that I need to clean" is leading me to better friendships and a better life. A little tip about escalation I can share with you: don't escalate if you don't feel like it. Fuck this whole idea that you have to b…

Please don't justify yourself for not being a born mass-seducer, and having to rely on tactics to become successful. I'm here to whisper you guys: "pssst! By compulsively getting into this brain-masturbation on escalation and when to kino her and how to actively listen to her and when to rephrase her points and how to ask her opinion and when to reward her for her investment, you forgot the most important part: to enjoy yourself!" Trust me, enjoying yourself has nothing to do with ebooks and pro…

You're on a date, and it doesn't escalate further. Now what? you ask. Here's my best answer. I've had two wonderful dates in the last three months. I dare to say that these two were among the 5 best moments in my life. I didn't end in their bed, I didn't kiss them. I'm not even in a relationship with them. And it doesn't matter. I'm happy and grateful to life merely by bringing up the memory again. They both live in another country. They both have a boyfriend. And I respected that. I asked if I …

First watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U514hbGnGo Then ask yourself if the way you are approaching women reflects your true, genuine self. Then take a moment to ask yourself: what is it that, deep inside, I really want? Why is approaching women so important to me? Your experience will be different when you find the answer.

Start doing little things for yourself. This is what I sometimes do: I go to a bar with a book, order a beer or a hot chocolate, sip it and take the time to daydream about my life. Or at least that's my intention: half of the time I end up chatting with my neighbor (man or woman). I suggest you try this out too. Please let me know how it works for you :).

If she asks you your number, she exposes herself to you saying "nah, you're not good enough to me". That's a scary thing for her. She gives you the power to reject her, to humiliate her, to make her feel like shit. Same thing if she asks you to buy her a drink. You always have the power to look down on her or laugh at her. Same thing when she asks you to hold her bag. If your notion of having power on her implies you saying to her "I'm higher than you, you don't have any value in my eyes", good …

even if she isn't attracted to you, is it really that important? Tonight isn't your ever-last chance to get laid. If she's not into you then too bad, that sucks, but come on, does it prevent you from having a good time with her? I may be wrong, but my first impression is that you guys here are focused (if not obsessed) on "OMG OMG OMG I HAVE TO BE CLEVER AND APPLY THE RECIPE GET HER ATTRACTED TO ME AND F-CLOSE WITH HER!!!" Relax man, enjoy the party. If she sees you as non-threatening and brothe…

Feel the shame, reflect on what you ideally would have answered instead, and make a note to provide that answer next time. I do this back home, I take a moment to reflect on paper. Oh yeah also: don't be too hard on yourself. It's all part of the process of becoming better. Journalist: “What is the secret of your success?” CEO: “Two words.” Journalist: “And, what are they?” CEO: “Right decisions.” Journalist: “But how do you make right decisions?” CEO: “One word.” Journalist: “And, what is that?…

what about it's the opposite? What if this is her giving you some power over her? Just sayin, this is a sort of vulnerable move to do, because you could run away with it.

My core reference to what empathy is, and what it feels like is this TED talk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUEGHdQO7WA Just a little disclaimer: empathy is not active listening, rephrasing, summarizing, asking questions, saying you understand her perspective. Empathy is something deeper than that. It means getting out of your own shoes, getting out of your own hidden agenda of what to say next and the 3 next questions to ask before asking her number, and getting inside her shoes and trying t…

Dude, what if all this trying to claim ownership of you stuff was all garbage in your own mind? Here's something I got from the course Understanding Women 101: women see their purse/bag as an extension of themselves. Think of the aspirine and pills and tissues and condoms and whatnots they're keeping in it. They don't hand it over to a random guy they don't trust. If you're on a restaurant/drink with her you can evaluate how secure she feels around you based on whether she puts her purse on the …

True. There's no hard obligation that you "should" be less needy in your life. It's okay to live needy, and if you're happy with who you are that's fine to me. Just, the thing is that everywhere I look in the seduction literature and community, neediness is described as a flaw you should get rid of, or at least hide it because it's all but attractive. (And by saying it's unattractive I don't say that as my own opinion, just as the general opinion there seems to emerge from the conversation.) I w…
