The difference between adolescent and adult is that adolescent has a baseline given to them. This baseline is also a tether unfortunately. Adults are no longer entitled to their baseline and instead have freedom to which they can build their own reality.

Stop worrying about being Alpha. Be vulnerable. Work with your boys, abundance mentality means everyone wins, not only 1 or 2 guys.

Read Mark Manson's article "You're ok". It's a self-acceptance article that effectively guides people on foibles. Also pick up a monkey-see-monkey-do attitude. See someone do something crazy awesome? Don't worry about whether it'll make you tons or money or get you street cred. Just shut up and do it.

Grab your balls and walk. Work on yourself and stop getting hung up over some random gal in Europe. You're awesome, don't squander your time on random bullshit like this

Follow up question. What're your thoughts about getting into game if you're high school age (16-18)

JUST DO IT. YESTERDAY, YOU SAID TOMORROW...SO JUST DO IT. But on a less facetious note, get out of your head man and ask the damn girl. No matter what, you'll be fine either way.

1) What are the best shit-hole bars in LA? 2) What are the best semi-decent bars in LA? 3) Do you think Sonic games will ever be good again? 4) What are your favorite kind of axes? I love danish axes

Of course not. It's not the goals but the experience of the process which will improve him as a person. I got into game in my late teens working fast food and playing Quake. It's not the what, but the how/why which counts. Metagame over game

Next time you hit it off with a homely girl, take just a moment to think why it went so well and transfer those vibes onto an attractive girl you approach. In fact you're pretty close to resolving this issue, a lot of times hotter girls are easier to develop a connection with after opening versus plain looking girls.

Good. Give up. Work on your career. It might be scary but you'll feel so much better. Because after a while you'll evolve beyond the person you were posting this and then you'll frame it better so girls don't flake

Vomit words but play it chill. As RSD Tyler says, imagine you're just this pure masculine spirit of energy that's grounded and mature, yet free and chill. That more than scratches the surface of being alpha and boils down to good body language and energy levels

17 here too. Took me forever to crush that feeling/impulse. Remind yourself how awesome you are and that you will be fine no matter what and life goes on. In fact, amuse yourself and hookup with other girls. You say you're going to be in Buffalo for a bit, why don't you shoot the shit with random girls there?

Love yourself and assume the best with others. and know you're fine know matter what happens socially. Talk to everyone. If they're not icy and weird with you, push for contact info and hanging out. I've just been expanding my inner circle of friends for the past 14 months. Most of my closest friends are girls so I meet girls I date through them.

That's the thing, I'm good at pickup and going for the 18-20 crowd but I keep getting rejected just cause I'm 17.

17 here and I live near a beach area so I get where you're coming from. Get beach/summer wear that's a flattering color and cut on you. Also stop giving two squirts of piss about "gay best friend" vibes. Envision your own take on the moment-to-moment alpha male vibe and execute it intuitively. Watch Elliott Hulse videos for more on that. Then just go up to girls there and shoot the shit with them. Don't just go up to them out of the blue, do some cool activity (surfing, swimming, or making a tot…

17 years old here and have some success with pick up. Dress nicely, groom yourself, and pack a couple breath mints. Speak from your diaphragm and through your lips, not the nose or back of your throat. Make strong but pleasant eye contact (think good thoughts). Talk to tons of people at the start and greet yourself as much as possible, just remember not to be overeager. Learn to be touchy and don't be afraid to ask more personal/sexual questions if you're getting good signals, especially as the …

Go to therapy/counseling and crush that problem. Be brutally honest WHY you can't be happy alone. After that tell yourself that you're more than enough for yourself repeatedly.

His town's population can be a problem, but's only a surface level issue. Chances are if he moved to any other town, he'd have the same problem. Read the sidebar OP, work on your inner game.

I got this weird idea that being a nice guy and hiding the rough edges would get you far. Also thought having a girlfriend was a good replacement for intrinsic happiness and overall badassitude. Then after the sophomore year of high school I stayed up till 3 AM cogitating. I realized my social life was stagnating, my body had the appeal of a potato, and my girlfriend sucked. I blamed this all on other people for giving me the idea of being a tame nice guy. There were other issues (emotional abus…

Try random new things even if they don't seem like your thing. Don't overthink about starting them, just do it. Also don't take it super seriously. RSD Tyler kinda sees his life as a South Park cartoon when he does pickup and it lends to these casual, interesting conversation. Mess around with girls you talk to, it'll work wonders cause it also shows you have a sense of humor and conveys how they're like depending on how they roll with the conversation.

I'm use to rejection as I currently date around but feel like I'm hitting a sort of glass ceiling. My social circle is pretty much people from my high school and other high schools in my city.
