Decided to make a condensed version of everything I've learned and applied. Let me know what you think.

Firstly, few care about what you do or say in the long run. Secondly, almost nothing is permanent as the only constant is change. Thirdly, there's no such thing as free lunch so you're entitled to very little. Fourth, you're not that special, for many things you're not on the crazy end of the bell curve

Does this make you uncomfortable? Good.

This might be a downer, but this will be the most important and liberating thing to hear. This means:

  • you can afford to mess up and be vulnerable without long-term risk
  • you can directly work for the stuff that actually bears personal value
  • it's your responsibility to step up your self-esteem and take care of your inner traumatized 5 year old
  • your emotions don't define reality. there's a difference between "I am angry" and "I feel angry"
  • you don't have to hold yourself to crazy expectations or feel you're alone in your problems, and that avoids tons of potential self-loathing

Once you understand this, you can work on self-awareness and confidence. Self-awareness is thinking about how you feel, knowing how you feel.
