If you are looking for a fraternal organization, consider joining your local volunteer fire department. Most departments, especially those in rural areas, are largely male and women in general do not ride the fire apparatus. You form strong bonds with your fellow firefighters, especially after a night where someones life is on the line. I'm a fireman myself, and the experience is far superior to that of any other club or social circle that i have been a part of.

The courses where this happened were all humanities. The thing that scares me is that this is a state university attended by tens of thousands of young men each year, and their brainwashing is clearly having an effect.

The assault on men continues after primary school. I'd say the liberal state university, such as the university of maryland where i attend, is much worse. On a daily basis in classes in no way related to womens studies, I was continuously expected to write and speak about how oppressive traditional family men were to their families and society. Firefighting- joined a volunteer department in college because I was bored as hell and wanted to do something other than party. Shooting- I've gotten into sporting clays lately and hunted deer this past season with a crossbow. I used to go dirt biking and camping on a regular basis as well.

I was in Scouts from kindergarten to my senior year of high school, and I can honestly say it gave me some of my best experiences and taught me many life lessons while at a young age. I went on to earn my Eagle Scout rank, and I would say it was my biggest accomplishment in my first 18 years of life, equal with graduating high school. It takes commitment, but it will make great returns on your investment.

Nice FR, I really enjoyed the level of detail. One thing I came away with that you didnt mention in the 'lessons learned' was watch how much alcohol you drink. I've done the same thing you did before where I went out, drank too much, and lost my ability to be effective with women. It's definently important to loosen up a bit, but you have to be careful not to get too drunk. Women can tell when you are intoxicated unless they are hammered themselves, and it is a HUGE turnoff.

You have to be careful with humor when dealing with women. It is definently a plus to be able to make them laugh, but you must be careful not to come across as too goofy or silly. I know this from experience. If you have nothing but jokes and humor, women will not take you seriously. You will then be friendzoned. Where it is good to be humorous, your other inner game components must also be strong in order to create attraction.

Thanks for defending my honor while I was at work, Sicnarf. And yea, you got it right. Everyone was either drunk out of their minds or had left the party. So I thought "eh, why not" and just started. There was some drunk guy who stumbled over and started screaming for people to come watch. If he hadn't come by, I would have been fine doing them alone

Working out. Oh my god it makes a massive difference. I was at a party recently and began doing pull ups off a door frame while the party was winding down. I was led into a back room shortly after where people literally began tearing my clothes off.

It sounds like the people you are hitting on have confidence issues and may be intimidated by you. It may be a lost cause to continue trying to talk to them at all, because they have some issues themselves that they need to work out. I would move on until you found someone able to carry a conversation in a confident manner. And I wouldn't change your routine a bit. Most guys would love to have an attractive and confident woman to talk to and maybe a little bit more ;)
